Exceptional

Great place with gorgeous garden!swimming pool area was wonderful surrounded by trees and plants!the room was spacious with all the amenities.easy parking space.very close to Syracuse, about 15 min drive. Breakfast was very good with local products and homemade cakes. The lady was very helpful and kind. The property is actually better than the photos. I highly recommend it!!

Relaxing in the countryside - but close to Ortigia

Peaceful location, lovely swing pool, delicious breakfast with lots of variety. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had dinner on 3 evenings - each meal was 5 courses and excellent quality local foods - just delicious (but for me the portions were too generous - especially the first evening when I didn't realise there were so many courses). Some lovely sandy beaches close by and easy access to Ortigia and Siracusa - you need a hire car

Nothing - There were mesh screens on all the windows - it would have been even better if there was a similar screen for the front door to my room - so that more light could be let in (but not insects)

The room was good. We got a good rate for a kitchenette. It was very clean. The pool was great.

Nothing in walking distance. You have to drive everywhere. Very little English is spoken. Very hard to find out information about travelling in the area.Dinner was very expensive

Lovely stay at Pozzo di Mazza

Everything! The place is in a lovely setting surrounded by fields and trees. Pool is very nice and the outside area beautiful and relaxing. The rooms all have a private door leading to the surrounding gardens. The building is spacious, comfortable and fascinating. The staff lovely and Carmen was really lovely and helpful. The Lady of the place so gentle and gracious. The place is excellent also if you stay with your pet. The evening meal was AMAZING and the breakfast very good as well including delicious home made cakes, jams and marmalades The bed was very comfortable too. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

beautiful location (cacti, olive trees, pool)! delicious fresh breakfast! very kind and hospitable staff. we had a great dinner there one night.

I think I was expecting more "agro" like fruit trees or other things growing, but it was still green and pleasing.

High quality accommodation. Breakfasts and evening meals just lovely - chef brilliant. Relaxing place , unhurried , gorgeous old farm house setting within reach of many target sites. Nice clean swimming pool. Staff very courteous and helpful , English speaking. Nice people stay here. Felt like home abroad. Wonderful.

Nice authentic experience in Sicily!

The rooms are sufficient with a proper bed and a little patio to sit outside of your room. The pool is nice and refreshing and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The surroundings are absolutely amazing and authentically Sicilian. The food served at night in front of the main building was good too! Had a relaxing time.
