Excellent location with great staff

Location is excellent, the room was really clean and the staff were friendly.

View wasn't the best but we weren't there long enough for it to make a difference to our stay.

Superb guesthouse with friendly host

Lovely guesthouse with a welcoming host. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very close to all the amenities with parking available on the road or in a nearby car park.

Locality to sea front and amenities. Near a good bus route.

No guest lounge as advertised on the website as it was being used as a storeroom/office. No garden or patio space for guests. Towels too small for larger the person, did not provide toiletries as stated on the website, only provided hand wash. Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower. The shower head kept dropping when in the shower. It took ages for the hot water to come through, and hot water ran out after about 10 minutes. Built-in wardrobe smelt musty. Chairs in room uncomfortable, nowhere to relax properly in the guest house. Small tabletop fridge on the floor difficult to bend down to and get things out of. Dodgy plug socket and over bed lights not working, no one available to speak to about it. There is no table to sit at when having a cup of tea in the room. No luggage storage is available for early arrivals or for guests having to vacate by 10 am. No information was given of storage facility available locally. Inadequate information on guest house website.

Perfect for a weekend stay

Perfect location. Staff nice and friendly. Have an iron and ironing board. Close to all amenities. Nice and clean with fresh scents. Spacious room.

The shower pressure was very poor.

Worth Visiting.

Easy to find. Well maintained. Very friendly owner who gave the impression she cared for the comfort of her guests and wouldn't stand any nonsense. It was the start of June but it was cold so pleased the heating was on when I arrived. Shower cubicle a good size and the controls were easy to work. Towels excellent size and soft. Toiletries basic. The little fridge was useful. No traffic noise and first night was very quiet. Room not very big but adequate. TV easy to use. Overall quite good value for money.

Steps up to front door very steep. It was still cold second day but the heating didn't come on. Wrapped the throw around me first thing in the morning and evening. Bed was too hard for me but the pillows were just right. Disturbed by the people above me second night. Often a problem in older properties were the insulation isn't up to modern standards.

Really great hotel. Close enough to everything you need, far enough away for a peaceful stay.

Fabulous location only a short walk from all the popular attractions and transport links. Very clean and well kept establishment with friendly and helpful staff. We chose one of the larger rooms as we like some extra space while we're away. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Considering the hotel was located to close to everything, we were surprised at how quiet it was too. Would definitely recommend.

Super friendly and helpful staff, room was very well presented and clean. Bottle of water left in room was a nice gesture as well as mint and biscuits on the pillow. Great location literally 2 mins to the seafront and beach.

Bed was very firm for me, many wouldn't mind this though. I'd still recommend this B&B

Everything about it the location was spot on, the owner was very friendly couldn't do enough for us, room was spotlessly clean and Everything matched. Although it didn't serve meals that wasn't a problem as there is plenty of places to eat within a 5 min walk. I seriously cannot complain about anything at all even had hairdryer and straightners in the room incase you forgot to bring yours just a little added extra. Anyone who visits this property will be sure to return as I definitely know that we will.

Good weekend break

Good location. Needs meet.staff went out there way.clean and tidy.tea and coffee and milk and complimentary water was supplied.book and dvds were supply for use if wanted no charge.we had slight issue with room but when told manger and she acted quick and resolved problem

There was nothing I can say wrong with this guesthouse.

I’m normally sceptical about staying in hotels as I’m worried they will not be clean etc… however this hotel was exceptionally clean with a comfy cosy bed and perfect location!!!

there was nothing not to like about the property.
