Perfecto para visitar los Cotswolds

Todo el personal fue muy simpático y amable. Por fuera el hotel es monísimo, la habitación estaba genial, y cenamos abajo en el pub bastante rico, aunque un poco caro pero así son los precios de la zona. La zona es tranquila y cómoda para visitar los Cotswolds (se necesita coche), hay mucho sitio para aparcar en la parte trasera del hotel. El desayuno incluido en el precio estuvo muy bueno y había también opción vegetariana. ¡Volveríamos seguro!

Sinceramente no tenemos ninguna queja.

Absolute Empfehlung was Komfort und Cozyness angeht. Die Flieger schmälern leider etwas das Gesamtbild.

Eine Unterkunft, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Sehr gutes Bett, schöne Gegend, sehr nettes Personal. Tolles Frühstück inbegriffen. Ein gemütliches Plätzchen am Kamin gibt es auch. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass ein Militärflughafen in der Nähe ist. Leider sehr laut, wenn die Maschinen über einen donnern. Dafür kann aber der Gastgeber nichts. Nachts absolut leise. Der Burger abends war leider etwas trocken.

Super en prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoek Cotswolds

Kamer bijzonder netjes voor elkaar. Ruim met oa. goed bed, prima TV en perfecte ruime badkamer. Ontbijt prima. Keus uit diverse opties van een menukaartje zoals eigenlijk gebruikelijk in Engeland. Hier echter beter dan gemiddeld. Ruime genoeg om de auto te parkeren. Diner in de avond is mogelijk. Ook meer dan OK. Gezellige bar. Alles gewoon heel netjes en smaakvol ingericht.

Excellent!!

Greeted at the bar by the owner who introduced himself and also showed us around which we really appreciated and made us feel very at home. Nothing worse than trying to find where to go for breakfast! Shown our room which was absolutely massive and a bonus being away from the pub not that this would have been an issue as the pub is quiet. One thing to mention is that we where told on arrival that food would still be served till 8pm for guests but on the website it said 6pm so we ate else where as we where unsure what time we would get there; had we have known it was till 8pm we would have eaten here. Best breakfast I’ve ever had whilst staying away! New owners are doing a fantastic job! Value for money brilliant! Keep up the good work!

Total relaxation - just what we needed

Glad we did not take any notice of old reviews pre February 2024 as the new owners, Tom and Rob, could not do enough to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. All the staff were really pleasant and friendly. The breakfasts were exceptional with plenty of choice. The walk in shower was really big with a fantastic overhead rain shower. No waiting for hot water either. Loved the luxurious bath sheets. Location was great for visiting various tourist spots and picturesque villages.

Great environment for an easy getaway to Cotswolds

The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Couldn't ask for anything better than this. Big comfortable bed, coffee machine, small fridge and spacious bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious. Location is ideal to visit Cotswolds.

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful room, fantastic food.

Drains smelled bad when we got in the room but cleared after using the shower.

A pleasant enough place to stay but I do feel £147 for one night here is rather expensive

Comfortable bed, good shower and good food.

The location was beautiful and extremely quiet, the hotel was extremely cozy and comfortable, facilities in the room were great especially the shower, the staff were the best part, they went above and beyond to make the stay even better.

There wasn't anything to not like.

Beautiful Old English Pub + wonderful choice of food.

The Pub/ Restaurant was lovely so well furnished with a huge open fire. The bedrooms in the courtyard were excellent. All Good size. A great bathroom with walk in shower with Easy instructions for use. Wonderful under floor heating.

The staff were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Ernesto went above & beyond with his helpfulness.

Wonderful relaxing break

Beautiful listed building which is in keeping with the area.It felt cosy and relaxing with super food,very large comfortable bedroom with modern bathroom and friendly staff.

Nothing,I’d recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.

Enjoyable but did not live up to expectations or our recollections of our first visit.

Convenience, warm atmosphere, and good food and drink. Wide choice of different food on the menu to suit most tastes.

Limited Choice of steak on the menu, also very expensive. Although the hotel was far from full, we were given the smallest comfy room, the carpet and furniture were tired and the room could do with refurbishment.

Nice Pub.

Great location. Staff excellent. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent.

No plug in the sink. Bathroom tired and a little shabby. Bed uncomfortable. Rickety chair at the desk.

perfect for our 1 night stay and would definitely go back.

traditional old pub with character. Our room was in the garden area and was well appointed. staff very friendly and helpful and there was a good ambience about the place.

Food was good but but not excellent. Only had one ale in the bar. No plug in bathroom sink. All relatively minor points but did stop me giving an excellent rating.
