Large family room was very nice and well equipped. Kettle and tea bags supplied. Dog friendly and a garage to securely park and charge bikes. Nice breakfast.

The rooms were excellent, and the food and service of a high standard.

Nice room overlooking mountains. Great shower. Facilities in room were all good. Buffet breakfast more than adequate and outdoor terrace was exceptional. Had dinner in restaurant and would recommend
No common area to sit. No staff on premises day or night. Had to seek them out but were very accommodating and helpful when located.

The tranquility and space
Breakfast was poor, lack of fresh produce. At 13 euros a poor show.

This hotel's location is perfect for visiting several Cathar castles. It is located in a small, picturesque village. Staff at hotel are very friendly and were very helpful with my food allergies. Breakfast was a good buffet with choice of bread (gluten free if you need it), boiled eggs, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal and very good coffee. The room was spacious with views across the valley. The beds and shower were fantastic. The best restaurant meal of our trip was at the hotel restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel in beautiful location. The room was spacious, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and good value for money. Great base for exploring the region.
Breakfast was not good value for money. Very basic, no fresh fruit, no milk one morning and no staff to ask.

friendly relaxed dinner and atmosphere. amazing location with stunning views
No shower gel in shower. Tea and coffee facilities, but no cups! Garden needs some work. However, none of this deterred is from the enjoyment of being there. The garden room has a lot of steps, so not at all suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The location and the view are exceptional. Welcoming, polite and accommodating hosts. Excellent, very tasty evening meal accompanied by a bottle of local wine from Cucugnan- compliments to the chef -and a good breakfast to set us up for the day. Clean, comfortable and a good night's sleep.... what more can you ask for?
Lack of Wi-Fi reception in garden room but..... not too much of an issue! We were on holiday so could afford a night without Wi-Fi.
Wish the bar Vigneron across the road had been open - it looked very interesting and we would have enjoyed a drink or two there, I'm sure!

The village itself is peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. The Boulangerie at the hill is great (near the moulin).
The place was closed when we arrived at check in time (5PM). After a while we decided to check if the auberge is open at all in a Pizza bar in front of the place. Surprisingly, the guy there was put in charge of checking us in, but we did not receive any notification about it, nor there was a note on the front door..It was by chance that we went to ask in the Pizza place. The Pizza guy gave us the key with a fast and short explanation about the place. It looked like we were the only guests there, although they had a restaurant operating in the evening for an hour or two.
there was nobody to complain to about the WiFi which started OK, and died very fast, so actually there was no WiFi. There was no soap in the shower (the container was empty). One door could not be locked. We felt neglected, only in the morning we could check about breakfast with a guy who appeared in the main floor. They charge high price compared to other places in the village, and we were sorry we did not book a different place. The experience with the auberge was awkward. Luckily, the village is nice, and the wine and food we had at a restaurant at the end of the street was really good. We found too late that they offer rooms too...

It’s a tiny peaceful village in the mountains and perfect for a quiet restful stay. Such a pity we could only stay one night.

Attentive owner/staff and good food in the restaurant. Lots of attention to detail in the room. great view and overall comfort of the room was excellent
Wi Fi service was very poor and despite an effort to resolve this, it did not improve. Connection to router was very good but router did not connect to the internet which was very inconvenient

Was expecting the on-site restaurant to be open - but was closed.

They ran out of orange juice after one glass was poured and there was no butter at breakfast, we were told the chef had forgotten to buy these items. Perhaps it would, in general, have been a more varied breakfast as it seems possible that the chef may have been in charge of buying other foodstuffs as well.
There only three parking spaces, and they were only available between 1900 and 1000, because of parking restrictions in the village.
We used our phone as an internet hub because there was no available internet access in our room. (To be fair, once our hub was running we didn’t ask about the internet).

Wonderful hospitality, immaculate room, and fantastic food... we enjoyed the Logis
Auberge du Vigneron very much!

Comfortable, spacious, simply yet tastefully furnished and exceptionally clean room with firm bed; good shower and plenty of storage. Good buffet style breakfast that could be taken on an attractive terrace with good views on nice days. The Auberge has its own excellent restaurant - a lovely place to eat in the evenings with high quality food and wine. Cucugnan itself is ideally located for visiting the Cathar castles at nearby Queribus and Peyretepuse; country drives and walks and vineyard visits. The village is quiet and pretty with a couple of other restaurants (if you need them); a friendly grocery store (Epicerie); an artisan potter and a wonderful bakery - Le Maitre de Mon Moulin - that mills and bakes its own bread.
Nothing. It was all good.
