Beaches is a beautiful guest house and Jan is a warm and lovely lady, so welcoming and a wonderful host. Our room was stunning with amazing views, big comfy bed, absolutely spotless and everything you could possibly need for a very enjoyable stay. So much choice at breakfast and cooked to perfection. The garden is a picture and the house is just a few minutes from the lovely beach. We had such a lovely time

The Beaches is a high quality guest house in a great location close to the beach and only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Room and en-suite bathroom (Room 2) were immaculate and the breakfast is as good as anywhere I’ve ever stayed. We will definitely return if travelling to Ayrshire again.
Nothing.

The guest house was amazingly clean, modern and warm.

Jan was so accommodating—I had signed up for a room with a low ceiling in part of the bathroom, I didn’t mind ducking, but as soon as she saw how tall I was, she insisted we take a bigger, nicer room. That was our very first interaction and absolutely indicative of how she treats her guests: she is so willing to go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of her guests. Breakfasts are cooked to order for under £10 per person and include the most delicious homemade jams. It’s a very comfortable and cozy home away from home.
I don’t have a single complaint!

I really loved this little B&B, by the sea. The room was really nice, comfy big bed, nice biscuits! Not that I spent too long in there, I was there for my Godfathers funeral, so was mostly at my cousins. Jan might remember me now from this review. The little bathroom was lovely, and Jan stocks her bathrooms with the lovely Scottish Fine Sea Kelp range of toiletries. Oh I forgot there was a little fridge in my room with bottles of mineral water and a little bottle of Milk.. The Breakfasts are amazing! The best Breakfast you’ll ever get in any accommodation ever. I got two Fried Eggs. ;)
Nothing really.

Honestly the best accommodation I have stayed in. There was so many pluses to this stay I dont know where to start. Lets start with Jan the host she was so lovely and helpful nothing was to much trouble. The room was very spotlessly clean as was the rest of the bnb. The breakfast was the best breakfast my husband had ever had, it was very tasty and lots to choose from, the home made jams were just amazing. The bed was super comfy best sleep we have had in a long time. The homemade shortbread in the room to go with your tea and coffee was to die for. Honestly as someone that normally books chain hotels staying here reminded me of all the little touches a bnb offers that i have been missing out on. The room had a fridge with bottled water and bottled milk for tea. It is very near the beach, shops and restaurants and Jan provided a parking permit that meant we could park right outside on the steet. When ever I am back in Ayr I will be trying to book this hidden gem.
Honestly there was NOTHING i did not like about this place.
