Bright spacious close to all amenities.
The lift wasn’t working very well so had to use stairs .

The property has a fantastic sea-view and ample parking. Very modern and everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. Very Simple check in process and a lovely little home from home for our stay in Ayr.
We asked the host for restaurant recommendations and the response was really quick and spot on.
The Oor Wullie prints were lovely. We felt very lucky to witness the Waverley steamer coming in and departing from the balcony.
The double bed was extremely firm and dipped on the right hand side. The balcony had a small table and chairs, these were unusable due to being weather beaten, they could be refreshed/updated and a protective cover supplied for when they are not in use. Such a shame as it would have been lovely to sit out there with a morning coffee or on an evening with a glass of wine.

The fantastic views, it really is a great location. I could never tire of that view.
The lovely clean beach is less than a minutes walk away.
Spectacular sunsets.
The flat is a 10 minute walk into town.
The flat is very clean and comfortable. Light and airy. The beds were comfortable and both shower rooms were very nice. The sofa was comfortable.
We never actually watched any TV but I did notice it had netflix . We had planned to enjoy a film one evening but we never got round to it !
The instructions to get into the flat and how to operate the heating were clear.
Lift access to the flat .
We had an issue with the communal door which was faulty but was being repaired as we left.
There was no second set of keys which we have made the owner aware of and we understand an extra set is being made available.
No corkscrew !
Could do with more side plates and glass tumblers
Instructions where to take the general rubbish. The bins outside all seemed to be recycling.

Location, appartment, decor, balcony, the view and the lift.
The lock to the building was under repair, but not too bad.

The apartment itself was as seen in the photos...nice & comfortable with ample crockery & bedding...however, the windows were filthy. When booking a seafront property the view is obviously important & the dirty windows detracted greatly from our enjoyment of the stunning view. The rooms themselves were nice & clean though. The seaview/beach location was excellent & the grocery store at the apartment was a bonus.
As mentioned above, the windows were filthy & detracted greatly from the seaview. The parking, described as adjacent to the apartment was quite a walk away with no guarantee of a space near the entrance of the apartment...very inconvenient when transporting luggage to the apartment...especialy in the pouring rain. The apartment is self catering, however had ABSOLUTELY NO CUPBOARD SPACE for groceries & only a tiny freezing compartment within the fridge. The television regularly lost signal which was particularly irritating halfway through a programme. The apartment would benefit greatly from improved lighting ...daylight bulbs throughout would enhance the apartment enormously leaving the mood lighting to the lamps. In light of these comments I would say that the apartment has the potential to be absolutely stunning but needs a little money, & a bit of thought spending on it...& a window cleaner!

Fantastic flat, very roomy and comfy, very clean in a perfect quiet location overlooking the harbour and Ayr's fantastic beach. Beautiful views from every window and a lovely balcony. Great added touches of tea, coffee, cleaning products, shampoo, shower gel, hand-wash, cooking oils, washing powder etc. There's a great wee local shop downstairs and it's within easy walking distance to High street shops and our fave restaurants and cafés. We will come back again. Thank you!

it was the middle of february and the weather didn't spoil us, but it's a very good location, and a peaceful and quiet place
on the first day we focused on cooking but the kitchen was poorly equipped, it turned out that the intuction hob did not work, so forget about hot meals, faulty and leaking boiler,

amazing location , balcony over the sea , felt like a home away from home , clean , lovely decoration and well maintained and right next to city centre but tucked away at Harbour so quiet .
hosts didn’t respond to calls or texts when couldn’t find entrance keys and so left wandering also someone had been smoking in bedroom so flat smelled of smoke and neighbours strong smelling cooking . common entrance and lift bit run down and hard to navigate the buggy. boiler also was dripping .

Apartment lovely, nice location, overlooking the beach.
No instruction manual on how to work any appliances, or where to put rubbish etc. Tried contacting host, who chose to ignore my text messages and phone calls.

I absolutely loved where the apartment is. I took my dog who loved the beach walks and just time away .

Great view out to sea and watching the boats in the port. Idea location for our golf activities. Loads of space for 2 people and a handy little convenience shop.
Two floors up a bit of a chew but you wouldn't get the great view without it!☺️

Beautiful apartment with fantastic views. Very clean & comfortable. Wonderful to have a lift. A good base for visits to Dumfries House & Culzean Castle. Great meal at Cecchinis Italian restaurant & Chinese takeaway from Ocean View. We were very lucky with the weather & had some lovely beach walks - saw a grey seal. Little convenience store with friendly owner a real bonus. Thanks David & Roanna. Would certainly stay again.
Could do with the hook being replaced behind the bathroom door to hang towels.

Location and room on high floor
Room was very tired and shabby with stains on ceiling and bed headboard. Also not very clean carpet.

The whole apartment was lovely and the views were perfect. Lots of wee extras included and a lot of thought put into the decor.
Am hoping to book again for next summer but for longer next time.
