There was a complimentary wine and cheese hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. The location was perfect for going to the Timbers game. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The parking was less expensive than the Courtyard Marriott.
It was very noisy, being so close to the street on the fourth floor, and it's an old building, so the walls are probably thinner.

Warm welcome. Enjoyed the Portland-centric movie/theater posters and photos lining the hallways. Loved the overall feeling of the well-restored hotel. Room was spacious and we enjoyed the well-equipped kitchenette.
On site parking was not available on the first day of our stay. We had to park in an unsecured lot nearby, which was unfortunate but not a big deal.

The room was amazing! Shower, kitchen, bed, everything was great!
Many unhoused people in the area, but they were not aggressive in any way
4.5
Great location, excellent service, comfortable room.

Great location, a block from Powells
Real mini casement window that opened up, no screen tho.
Has a coin laundry in the basement, no coins? Download the app they have on the washer. It's $2 for each
Very well sound proofed. Can't hear anything unless the window is open and that's street noise.
Mini fridge in room.
Great water pressure, although it's a rain showerhead
No ADA access. So you have to drag your luggage up two small flights of stairs before you reach check in.
Elevators are TINY and slow. The hotel is very old so there's that
My heat didn't really work. The AC was nice however.
No niche in the shower for my products
No premium channels or PBS on the TV (not really a negative just a personal thing I have)
3.5
The staff were so kind and friendly, and the location was perfect. I loved the look of the hotel and of the room. The tile in the bathroom was very nice, and it was actually quite quiet considering we were next to the elevators. Being right next to Powell's Bookstore was great, and there were some very good restaurants nearby that could accommodate me being a vegetarian. Parking was close by, although it would have been nice to know up front that it cost extra.
The bathtub and sink didn't drain properly, so my feet were washed in a soup of my own creation. I prefer not bathing this way. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable for me, however the bed itself was nice. The water took about ten minutes to heat up. No joke. I had to start the water going in the sink to make it get warm, which filled up pretty fast due to the slow drain because the drain in the tub was just as bad.

El trato. La recepcionista Mina fue encantadora. Tuvimos un problema con la reserva y en todo momento estuvo súper atenta, profesional y pendiente. Simplemente espectacular.
El sofá cama estaba un poco hundido pero estaba bien

Great location: the Pearl district didn’t always have a great reputation but there has been huge overhaul of the area in the past few years (for better or worse). You can walk to some great restaurants and shops (gotta go a few blocks for the local stuff bc it’s mostly high end major retailers now).
Everyone at the front desk for check in was super nice.
There was a wine reception in the lobby where they offered 2 glass of wine for free so that was a lovely surprise.
Our rooms were bigger than we expected from a hotel in a major city and an older building. Im used to tiny rooms in SF and NYC.
Nothing that anyone can control so I have nothing to add here.

Location was great.
Staff were nice.
Room was clean.
Price was the best.
Bathroom door was tough to open and close.
4.0
The staff.
The bed.
The location.
Just about everything is assuming.
Parking garage is narrow and short and the spaces are very small.
A portion of the daily rate could include a minimal $$ amount for breakfast. Maybe $7.50-10.00 per person? Otherwise breakfast is a rip-off.
Alternative parking for larger vehicles would be nice.

Room cleaning had to be requested.
