l’hôtel Campanile est globalement bien agréable

la mise à disposition d'une bouilloire électrique et de mini dosettes de café instantané, de thé et de lait, de gobelets sur un petit plateau .

la nuit que j'ai passée était une des plus froide pour la saison ( constats de la météo ) et la couette était légère, ce qui fait que j'ai eu froid, certes il y avait un radiateur, je l'avais mis en route légèrement, mais il émettait des craquements, aussi par sécurité j'ai du l’arrêter, je n'ai pas bien dormi, car j'ai eu froid ; Une couette supplémentaire devrait être à disposition

Very good value very clean and comfortable good location had good reviews as well

Price comfort (old building but expected and very clean and good price for location (central Calais)

Desk had tv and kettle etc but had a nice adjustable table lamp but the switch was under the desk near the wall so as elderly was unable to kneel down to switch it on (cables passed through 1/2 ins gap at wall so switch only reached by kneeling on floor )

Good locations for a short stay

The room was ok, small motel style rooms off the main restaurant, it has everything you need for 1 night. close to bakery's and shops. Kettle and tea and coffee in the room

The rooms could do with an update, new bathrooms and flooring but it did everything we needed for the night. extra pillows in the room would have been an advantage

Thought it was perfect for a nice night's sleep close to the port. The staff on reception was super lovely, thank you for the croissant!

Only thing I would say is maybe get a buzzer for the front gate so we can ring through to reception.

Very overpriced for the quality of the room.

Good location for the tunnel and very helpful staff

The room lighting was far too bright. There was no subtle lighting just 2 very bright spotlights above the bed which shone into the room

Good situation for using the Channel tunnel on your journey

I stated two nights at this hotel on my journeys from Spain to the UK via France in order to use The Channel Tunnel. Comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. I had my best evening meal here out of all the Campanile Hotels I visited. Recommended for a stay to use the Tunnel

Basic facilities so bring you own washing facilities. Room a bit cramped but sufficient for a single person

cigarette ash tray fixed to the wall outside of our window meaning we could not have fresh air inconsiderate people standing next to ash tray talking loudly all hours

Room was very basic, wall socket cover kept falling off. You could hear the road and people walking past in the evening but not late at night.

perfectly located as base for shopping and exploring. clean and beds very comfortable. staff friendly food breakfast buffet good value and good selection had dinner in restaurant for convenience, shared starter and mains for 2 with 2 soft drinks each came to 45 euro so very reasonable. portion sizes good.

accommodation is tired and over due a refresh but price reflects this

Campanile was always a great choice for a comfy bed. Unfortunately, not Campanile Calais. The room was incredibly tired and uncomfortable. The bathroom heater was broken and the room wasn't clean.

Warm clean and comfortable at a reasonable price.

Warm and clean room , easy parking , price reasonable.

When I arrived I was told I didn't have a reservation !!! twice !!! only when I showed them my booking on my phone did I get given a room. Also I was charged more than the booking.com price They said it was the city tax but another 14 Euro seemed a lot for that.

Good location

It is very tired and needs major refurbishment. The staff have cleaned it as well as possible and the public areas are very good. The rooms are dated and in poor condition. Particularly the bathrooms where black mould is showing through the grouting and mortar, water damaged skirting areas and rotten door frames.
