Exactly as expected, the staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. The views were outstanding, and the little area outside to play boules / table tennis was a bonus for the kids.
No kettle... we're British and didn't expect it though! Also, the room got very warm overnight with no AC. Not a problem though as we knew that when we booked it!

Breakfast was great : continental with lots of choice. Hosts very friendly.
A kettle in the room would have improved my stay . The ski bus is 15 minutes walk uphill from the hotel. This would not work for many people.

Breakfast has a great view of mint blanc. The couple that run the hotel were very welcoming and helpful . Good location and great value.

Great place, with a very nice view from the balcony. Not that far away from Chamonix. Half board was good. Nice portions and tasty. Host are very friendly.
I dislike shared blanket. What would be good for me is some kind of light music in the background while having dinner. Complete silence is kind of disturbing for us. Road is a bit noisy in the night, but manageable.

The food was very nice. At breakfast there were plentiful freshly baked chocopain, croissants, etc, cereals, homemade yoghurt, fruit and juices. We were staying half board for which the evening meal would be the 4-course menu du jour, generally a delicious soup, followed by a main, a cheese board (or youghurt) and desert. All home made and very enjoyable.
The hosts Pascal and Stephanie were absolutely lovely and so friendly. Pascal is the chef and was in the restaurant at breakfast every morning bringing coffee, tea and hot chocolate and letting guests know what was on the (half board) menu for that evening. He clearly wants to ensure that everyone is happy and would prepare a modified dish for those who did not like certain things (British children are definitely not as well trained as French ones in trying different foods). For example on 'speciality night' which features cheese-based Savoyarde specialities such as Raclette, Tartiflette and Fondue, he prepared chicken and pasta for those who did not fancy the cheesy stuff. Great service and much appreciated especially as he is effectively a one-man operation in the kitchen and catering for 40 or more guests. Pascal was also lovely to chat to in the mornings, telling us about his grandparents originally owning the family hotel, his father's skis on the wall, his early relationship with skiing, the weather and observations of climate change, etc. Neither Pascal nor Stephanie are the type of people to talk when conversation is not invited but we enjoyed the chats and felt that our stay was enhamced by getting to know them a little bit.
Only small quibbles...
Eggs were available for breakfast for a small supplement. I would have quite liked eggs in the morning, preferably without a supplement and would be happy to boil them myself as is sometines possible in some hotels.
Lots of bread was provided at breakfast but was more limited at dinner.
Our rooms were probably the lesser of those available (we booked late) but also probably the cheapest due to being on the ground floor with outside access and lesser views compared to others. However, they were clean and comfortable and we were happy.
Overall, the main thing that the hotel lacks is a bar or confortable communal space. Although there was a small space next to reception this was just a few wooden benches and not comfortable and obly used by children playing on pass, etc) This means that outside of mealtimes there is no oppurtunity to relax or socialise anywhere outside of the bedrooms.

The staff were very sweet, nice, welcoming, and helpful! This is by far my best hotel. I enjoyed the food, they made sure that my dietary requirements are met. It’s good value for money as you get breakfast and dinner in a nice homely place. It’s a short walk to Combloux village where you have a good night out and also can get free shuttles to Combloux Ski Resort.
I have nothing bad to say about this place.
