Amazing views and perfect location! Very clean and spacious with high quality fittings and lots of tech. Nice village with good places to eat and lovely walks along the coast.
We couldn’t use the rear parking as we have a large car, but not a big issue as we did find free parking in front of the property. Some of the kitchen equipment could do with replacing and sky tv was glitchy.
4.5
Garden and middle floor flats. Very spacious and luxurious accommodation. Lovely views over River and sea beyond. Well equipped with en suite bathrooms for all bedrooms. Modern well appointed kitchen with everything you need for self catering for a group to a high standard. Living areas very spacious. Excellent central heating, Air Conditioning and lighting.
Some items needing updating - some double glazed units 'blown'. Light bulbs over dining table in Garden Flat. Kitchen cupboard doors loose on hinges. Screw missing on Middle Flat High Chair strap rendering it unsafe.

Beatiful apartment with a fantastic view of and easy access to the beach and esturary. Spacious, well designed and comfortable. Kitted out with high end appliances. Will be happy to return. The communal play room and washroom also useful.
Some minor additions would have been helpful - a hoover or dustpan and brush to clear up the sand which we inevitably brought in from the beach. Some salt and pepper, kitchen towel.

The house is full of tech and quite quirky. The view over the estuary and beach are stunning. The main kitchen and lounge are lovely light filled rooms.
The lift smelt of sewage, it got worse during the week. The tech was unreliable. The TV cut in and out constantly. The freezer drawer wouldn't shut and wouldn't keep temperature. The wine cooler wouldn't cool below 18. Our shower (the smaller double room) sprayed water all over the place, the screen is too short, had to mop up all the time (but there was no mop). The toilet flushed as soon as you got anywhere near it. I could go on and on.

Views & location stunning . En suites for everyone. Spacious . Sun room. Clean. Utility room facilities . Garden play area for kids .Nearby park . Beach two minutes .
Drains smell on entering communal stairs ; communal stair area - huge stain on carpet ( which has been there for weeks ). Both made for very poor first impression . No instructions on working taps ! Couldn’t use bath / shower initially - took too long to work out ! No cleaning materials - we had 3 children with us.

Stunning view of the ocean. Spacious and comfortable.Great location for the village pubs, cafes etc. Great walks from the doorstep. Short drive to local landmarks and attractions.
Nothing, and I always have at least one negative thing to point out, so well done!

everything was fabulous

Great location right on beachfront.
Sun room with opening.doors was lovely to sit in and look out over beach.
House was huge. Lovely bathrooms.
Far too much tech - spent too long trying to work out how things worked and the things that are important were overlooked such as bottles in the kitchen with no labels on, uncomfortable dining chairs, two slot toaster for a house for 6 people, oven made such a racket we didn't use it, music system not easy to use, kitchen layout unhelpful, TV in bathroom not working properly. The stair carpet was filthy and stained and a very musty smell in the stairwell.

everything was very impressive
the only slight issue was the tv in the living room, the sky wouldn’t work and couldn’t sign into roku but this wasn’t the end of the world

location and the space inside the apartment we stayed in the penthouse and the views were stunning .
blinds need fixed for the main control panel and tv in bathroom not work .

The apartment was amazing and beautiful with views to match
Neither of the ovens were working properly whilst we stayed which did complicate things as we had brought food to be cooked in an oven

Perfect location with a fantastic view of Alnmouth’s estuary and coast line. very comfortable rooms with plenty of space
Not a big problem but took a little while to find out how everything worked
3.5
the views were fantastic from the deck, lots of space , great location
too high tech and not enough information about how to work the oven, microwave, towel radiators, sonos etc. the kitchen was not designed for cooking with poor lighting and a strange small fridge, not large enough for 6 people. we had a list of items that needed fixing or supplying but the agents did not come and fix them as promised.
3.5
The views are fantastic!
The location is great - handy for beach, walks, pubs and restaurants.
2nd and 3rd bedrooms are not good for adult couples - too small and restricted headroom.
High tech gadgets and appliances need better quick guides. Some faults with heating and bathroom equipment had to be fixed.
Needed some basic supplies such as hand soap, shower mats and cleaning equipment - particularly disappointing in Covid era.

Open plan kitchen / lounge. Balcony was lovely but sad we couldn’t use it more due to the inclement weather.
Kitchen tap a little tricky at first.

The location of this property could not be any more perfect, and the tri fold door mean that you can make the most of sunrise an sunset.
This was a very special trip for me so I was happy to pay a premium to get the hi specification and lovely location. Sadly the property failed to live up to expectations especially in the lack maintainance and cleanliness. I do not like giving negative feedback so first I contacted the owner. Her idea of checking out my complaint was to contact the cleaners and get a written statement from then. Unsurprisingly they disagreed with my complaint and that was that. I feel the owners count on the stunning location to make up for their lack of oversight of the property.

This apartment is 100% about the VIEWS!
We loved this apartment. It is huge. The views are absolutely stunning, and the main living area is a really lovely design, with exposed beams, felt a bit like a trendy seaside loft apartment. There is loads of space. The layout was great, nicely furnished.
The bedrooms were nice - one double and two twins, all en suite. Beds were comfy. Showers were good.
I had to contact the management company for a couple of minor things, who responded straight away.
There is a lovely big balcony - we were there in December so we spent limited time on it.
I would return here in a heartbeat - despite the issues below, we absolutely loved it!
Some of the 'mod cons' in the apartment are a little style-over-substance, and there are some signs of wear and tear. We couldn't get the Sky to work. Some of the kitchen cabinet cupboards were difficult to open (the push device no longer worked). We could only get one of the blinds in the bedroom to open from the lounge keypad. On the last day the heating stopped working, although it was fine before then, quite toasty.
The kitchen fridge is bizarre - very strange design - and the sink tap is really annoying!
I was also a bit freaked out by the fact that the lift opens directly into the apartment! There is a code, and a front door key, but it still gave me the heebie-jeebies! I guess I've seen too many horror movies!
However, none of these things actually mattered to me, because the living space was lovely and the views were complete and utterly gorgeous. I don't care about a fridge when I can stare out at the beautiful sunrise....
3.5
the view, the location, the space
it is very high tech but lack of maintenance if all the gadgets let’s it down
and it was cold at times because the central heating wasn’t working properly

very high tech!
large and airy with great views.
perfect location
no information given prior to arrival about how to access parking at rear of flat.

Absolutely stunning location, could not have been any better. The apartment itself was enormous - huge rooms, high ceilings, loads of storage. My son absolutely loved the games room too - especially the arcade machine. The layout was excellent, and we were very pleased to be able to find somewhere dog friendly in such a wonderful location. Off street parking a bonus too - think 3 cars would struggle to fit (one from each apartment), but we had a roof box on ours and could get under the garage door in the first spot (we later found out the second door was too low!!). However, on street parking was not a problem and often got a space pretty much right outside
The electronic blinds! They didn’t all work - for example we had to put a blanket up to cover the main living room window. There were a few examples of areas where the owner had spent far more money than necessary on things that weren’t actually that functional (such as the fridge/freezer, ironing board). Cheaper alternatives would actually have worked far better
4.5
Alnmouth is an amazing place for a beachside holiday and South View is pick of properties. Fantastic views over estuary.
A few more plates, other than that excellent

Absolutely stunning location. The penthouse opens up fully to the sea view and you are on the beach in a stone's throw. The apartment is well set up and the lift to the penthouse is a great addition!
The parking is limited to one space but even when busy it's usually possible to get a space outside the apartment for extra cars if you drive around a little bit.
The local town is lovely albeit slightly quirky with opening hours!
Dogs are welcome in the apartment and also almost everywhere in the town.
Some of the apartment is slightly style over substance/should be fixed or removed e.g. the Bose sound system doesn't run through the apartment (but does work in the living room), the electronic blinds in the living room need fixing (the solar power clearly doesn't work) and there needs to be far more cutlery!
4.5
Stunning views overlooking the river and ocean. Spacious, and really well appointed. Loved the beer/wine fridge.
All good. Some of the tech could be explained better
4.5
Fantastic view and comfortable
WiFi kept dropping out fine for light use not suitable for video conferencing and welcome booklet didn’t show actual access points but I guess previous configuration
