Prachtig gelegen hotel dat hier en daar toch wat renovatie kan gebruiken.

Het ontbijt en avondeten is héél uitgebreid en lekker. De kamers zijn groot. Prima parking, met ook een overdekt gedeelte.

De badkamer is zeker aan renovatie toe, echter wel proper. Er is slechts één koffiemachine tijdens het ontbijt en dat is te weinig.. rijtje schuiven..

Be careful when you stay. Check who’s likely to be there!

We loved the tranquil location, unbeatable views and excellent and lots of wide, free parking. We loved the helpful and friendly staff. Dog friendly hotel with beautiful grounds to walk around. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and of great quality. Lots of choice at the buffet dinner for a reasonable cost.

Although the dinner was reasonably priced, we were unaware that there was no “a la carte restaurant” and on our first night, the buffet style restaurant (the only restaurant), was absolutely packed with very young children and parents. It was not a good ambience for couples who were looking for a relaxed meal after a long drive to a supposed restful location in the mountains. The noise was earth shattering, with screaming children running loose and causing havoc. I wish we’d been told in advance so that we could have opted for the bar menu (we didn’t know it was possible to eat in the bar). It completely ruined our dinner. The second night was a much more civilised dining experience. Although still only a buffet, but much nicer as the “kindergarten” clientele had all gone. We think it isn’t unreasonable to expect a pleasant meal experience in a good class of hotel such as this one clearly is, and I would think twice before returning purely for that reason. Maybe it’s best to check for such things before going, but seeing as we normally book way in advance, it might not matter. My suggestion is that such a party of guests should be given a different time slot to others. It would ease the pressure on the staff and certainly make adult guests feel more relaxed.

Sehr schöne Umgebung zum Wandern, tolle Lage.

Die Mahlzeiten Frühstück und Abendessen waren hervorragend! Riesige Auswahl, freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer haben einen schönen Blick. Unterstützung bei der Auswahl der Wanderungen.

Für ein Beistellbett war das Zimmer etwas klein.

Very relaxing away from it all

The location has outstanding views over the national park and well situated for exploring the surrounding area. The buffet breakfast was really good, lots of choice and all very fresh. We also tried the evening buffet which was really good value for money with lots of choice.

It would have been nice to have a proper old fashioned menu instead of the QR codes

One of our favourite hotels

Beautiful location. The hotel is perfect for a visit to the natural park and village of Grazalema. Value for money, great rooms, bathroom and comfy beds. The pool and jacuzzi with the views is amazing. Great breakfast.

Summer time was peak season with lots of families and children. The hotel organized dance/music by the pool area with very loud music. This was very invasive for the rest of the guests and did not go well keeping mind the tranquility of the place.

We had dinner twice, the first night was amazing. And the second evening the food was served, which was left over from yesterday. Some lunches were of poor quality- dry bread on sandwiches, not fresh salmorejo and without ham, no fresh cucumber, no fresh salad, etc...

A luxurious peaceful retreat in a stunning landscape

The hotel is in a beautiful location, the views from terrace and lounge are stunning. The breakfast and buffet dinner were excellent with lots of choice. Juan the barman was super friendly and made the best aperol spritz. There is a lovely swimming pool and hot tub.

A good stay, but a few unexpected issues.

Excellent location set at the crossroads between Grazalema and the route towards Ubrique.

After passing the hotel for at least 13 years en route to Ubrique, it has always been on the list of places to stay. The hotel focuses heavily on family and children: something unexpected and not necessarily to our taste. It was a shame that the exterior lights weren’t turned off to be able to stargaze.

One of our best holidays!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is simply stunning, the hotel itself gorgeous, very comfortable, beautiful pool (refreshing!) and the icing on the cake were the staff. Service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly and nice - made us feel so at home, lots of helpful suggestions of things to see and do, nothing was too much trouble. Loved it, and hope to go back soon. Gracias Paco, Juan, Ana, Gloria y todos!

comfortable hotel in idyllic location with excellent service

the location is stunning and the staff could not be more helpful. A special mention for Ana who provided us with so much assistance - truly nothing appeared to be too much trouble when it came to guests’ needs.

we were not aware that the restaurant only provided a buffet service for dinner when we reserved - it would be good if that was made clearer in the reservation process (though Ana very kindly amended our meal plan without any fuss)

You need your car to get to town. So if you are planning to maybe dine and drink, it’s advisable to book taxi in advance at the hotel. There is mo taxi service as such in town, it’s more like private owned vehicles but there is not much option, so make sure you plan ahead.

Beautiful comfortable hotel in the precious natural place

We stayed for only one night, but enjoyed our stay a lot. First of all, the location is great, in the middle of the forest, with the views to the mountains. The breakfast had everything we needed and it was tasty. They even had a chef preparing eggs in any way you ordered, and crepes right in the restaurant. Also there is an option to have dinner in the hotel’s restaurant that is quite comfortable as far as you don’t have anything close to the hotel, it is quite isolated. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely equipped.

Although the hotel rules say that the hotel is pet friendly, you are only allowed to stay with your pet in the room. All the common areas (including outside areas) are not permitted for animal access.

Beautiful Views

The hotel was perfect for our short overnight stay in Grazalema, with spectacular views over the town. We only wish we had had longer to enjoy all the facilities and the lovely pool.
