Enjoyed our family get together in Tavira at Casa Adelaide . Excellent location near to town and local facilities. Pool was well used as was air conditioning ! Villa well equipped for our needs.

Such an amazing spot! ample grounds, huge pool and very well equipped kitchen. We where also left some essentials for our arrival and the supermarket is a stones throw away. I couldn't recommend this spot more for a family getaway. We will most certainly go back.

Villa was clean, comfortable and extremely spacious. Staff at Casa servico couldn’t have tried harder to make sure we had everything we needed - they get five big stars from the whole group. The villa is within easy reach of town, ferry to beach and excellent restaurants, but with the beautiful pool and grounds we didn’t feel the need to leave the house every day. Overall a fabulous stay

Spacious villa, in beautiful, large garden grounds, complete with a fantastic saltwater pool.
The property has been maintained to an extremely high standard both inside and out. The images do not do the property justice. It must be seen to be fully appreciated.
Situated in a peaceful and quiet area, just a few minutes’ stroll from the historic centre of Tavira. All amenities within one minute’s walk including well-stocked supermarket and several cafe-bars - where an espresso comes in at under a euro and a flat-white just a tad more. You’d struggle to find a better location for a relaxing sunshine break on the Algarve. Tavira is a wonderful place, and, with its island beach (reached by a wonderful ferry ride down the River Gilao) it feels more like a twin-centre holiday.
Property managers, Ingeburg and Emma, offered great communication, both leading up to and during our stay, and their meet and greet service, despite the late hour of our arrival, was very much appreciated. Couldn’t ask for better service.
We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again or to recommend it to other families and groups, both large or small. Just book it!

My husband and I, my sister and my two teenage nephews had a brilliant stay! We each had a bedroom with its own en suite and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The villa is a short walk from Tavira town centre so we went out each night to sample the wonderful restaurants but each lunchtime dined either in the lovely kitchen (table seats 8) or outside on the terrace overlooking the pool.
For an ex swimmer it was great to have a pool that was big enough to swim a few strokes in in rather than just cool off and lovely to have plenty of sun loungers to choose from.
It is an amazing villa - so much space, great location, all amenities you could need. I would highly recommend and will hopefully visit again in the not too distant future!

A really large single storey property close to the centre of Tavira.

We loved this villa, it’s well equipped for self catering but close enough to town to take advantage of local restaurants.
The rooms are all huge, 3 have double beds and two single beds in the other room, all are en-suite.
The grounds are lovely as is the pool and despite it not being heated, it was warm enough (early May).
It’s in such a great location, there is a supermarket just around the corner, a waste and recycling point and a coffee shop.
It’s a very traditional house with some lovely features, a huge lounge, with a massive dining table.
The kitchen is quite modern, well equipped with a further dining table that’s plenty big enough.
The central courtyard was a great space for drying clothes, exercising and adjoining this is a bbq area and a utility with washing machine.
The managing company is very efficient, and a delight to deal with, we had a couple of minor issues but these were (almost all) dealt with quickly.

Property gave all 8 of us all the space we needed. Indoors was well equipped and very clean, outdoors was such an amazing space and well maintained. Location of the property was ideal quiet but so close to town- having stayed in Tavira a few times this was definitely our favorite. Hosts were clear with all communication and gave some great recommendations too.

Great holiday
First time at the property but really enjoyed the space we had for our family of 4. The pool was a good size and we didn’t notice it being salt water. Emma was fantastic and very responsive. Great holiday! Thanks

The perfect holiday
The villa is wonderful located in a quiet area but also close to the town. It was exactly as described on line and we felt comfortable and safe from day one.
It was fully equipped to satisfy all of our requirements and only a short walk to shops , bars and restaurants . I would be pleased to return there for another holiday.

Comfortable & calm villa in the centre of Tavira
We had a wonderful stay with our family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 3 kids). The house met all our expectations, was generously furnished and any questions we had were promptly answered by the kind intermediary Emma. Highly recommended.

Superb house in perfect location
We stayed here for 2 weeks in June as a family with teenagers and it exceeded all our expectations!
It’s a large, grand, old house which has been very well kept. You reach it through automatic gates and up a sweeping, olive tree lined drive. What a first impression!
HUGE, huge garden and an equally huge (11 metres) swimming pool. Apparently it’s a saltwater pool rather than chlorine, but don’t be put off (as we nearly were). I would never have guessed!
My favourite moment, every morning, was opening the bedroom shutters and gazing out over the garden, pool and endless blue sky - bliss!
All of the 4 double bedrooms were huge with en-suite bathrooms, All had fantastic air con units with more than enough storage. From several of them, you could even glimpse the sea in the distance.
Enormous, well equipped kitchen, with island, air con, BBQ room and laundry room. Impressive living dining room with some beautiful pieces of furniture and a gorgeous ceiling.
In terms of location, you really can’t get any better. A supermarket literally round the corner, a bakery is a 2 min walk away, a tapas bar on your doorstep. And a 3.5 minute walk away is a plethora of gorgeous restaurants (my son timed it!!). Really quiet, residential location, 5 min walk from local train station, where you could catch the regional train either to Olhao and Faro in one direction, or Cabanas and Vila Real in the other.
A big thank you to Emma who manages the property. Nothing was too much trouble. And unfortunately this was tested when we accidentally managed to lock ourselves out of the house one evening. She was there within 10 mins with a spare key! (Sorry Emma!)
In summary, a beautiful property in a superb location in a gorgeous town. You can’t go wrong. We’ll be back!

Huge Villa in a top location
Superb property with ample space to laze around. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, or dine in - the kitchen is well equipped or use the BBQ.
Excellent pool or 3/4 top beaches all within 20 mins drive.
The decor and furniture has been maintained really well over the years, and the air conditioning throughout keeps the Villa cool on those hot summer days.
We loved this place and would highly recommend.

Really, really good
Very clean, very spacious and VERY central.
Property was easy to get to, and the town centre was a short (7 minutes max) walk away. It has a small super market a mere 150m away, but the much bigger Continente is a 4 minute drive away. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the property is very well kept.
All rooms are en-suite and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen is massive and has a dedicated bbq room. The central patio can be used for lunch, but if it gets too hot, the living / dining room is massive.
The pool is very nice (saline, not chlorine, so it is easier on the eyes) and the garden is also very big, allowing the younger ones to run around.
Overall, a great stay, which we hope to repeat.

Very nice large house which could be really beautiful with a little money spent.
The house was a perfect arrangement for our extended family with four en-suite bedrooms. The sitting room is large and has a log fire and ample dining and sitting space. The WiFi works well.
If we have a criticism its that the bedding was really poor with sheets and blankets, A duvet for each room would cost very little. The pillows were nasty as were the towels. The kitchen was full of old mismatching dishes and utensils With a spend of $1000 all of this could be put right and the house made to feel much more luxurious.
However in terms of value for money, it was really good. The pool is nice if overlooked (and yes one brave soul went in in December) Location is also good, being a 10 minute walk into town. Away from the noise but with good access.
I would thoroughly recommend the house. But bring your own towels and pillows, and a couple of kitchen knives!

Lovely spacious villa ,some aspects were not up to the standard of a villa portrayed by you . Leaking dishwasher however the response was immediate .some cooking facilities on center kitchen island need repairing also and lighting overhead island needs attention. The outside lighting was repaired but no underwater pool lights or garden lights such a pity,as the pool was in a beautiful setting but could not be seen at night. However, there is no getting beyond the totally uncomfortable mattresses we had spare rooms and tried to find more comfortable ones to no avail like sleeping on sacks of stones no excuse either for plastic pillow and mattress protectors in such heat. No decent sleep for all five occupants for 2 weeks!Management company very friendly we requested some shopping this was provided. Shame about the beds Mary Sheehan

Fabulous villa
We stayed here in May for a week as part of a larger group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) and had a fantastic time. The villa is really spacious, clean and comfortable and has the added bonus of a large courtyard with a barbecue, which we put to good use. There is also a utility room, enormous kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and of course we all loved the pool and the gardens. The villa and all of the rooms are maintained and decorated to a very high standard, all with en suite facilities and really good showers. The location is also excellent - it was just a short walk to the centre of Tavira where we found lots of good quality restaurants and bars, all of which were reasonably priced, with friendly and attentive staff. Ingeburg and Emma were also super helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful villa - we would highly recommend it. Thank you Ingeburg and Emma for a fantastic stay! Great house!
We loved our stay in Tavira. The house was much bigger than expected and was in a good situation for walking down into the town.
The living area and kitchen were very well equipped and comfortable, and the heating worked well in fairly cold conditions. The bedrooms felt as though they needed a bit of t.l.c., but were perfectly acceptable.
The arrangements for key collection and return worked well, and the owners provided a huge bag of fresh oranges from their farm, which was a lovely surprise.

Lovely large villa, huge grounds, great pool
Great property, very large grounds, mainly lawn, great pool, just 5 minutes walk into the centre of Tavira. Huge main dining room/lounge. Big kitchen, indoor BBQ room, and open courtyard enclosed within the villa. Lovely children's park immediately at the bottom of the garden. Only downsides were the garden has little privacy to the surrounding streets. and the grounds at the back of the property are somewhat of a building site and really should be fenced off.

Great for large groups
We've just come back from another fabulous holiday in Casa Adelaide. The house is four large en suite bedrooms and a really well equipped kitchen. We've celebrated a number of noteable birthdays there and a sundowner on the patio is a great way to start and evening in Tavira. Emma and the team are just down the road and are really helpful if you need anything during your stay.

huge villa and very central
This was an ideal holiday with little ones (12 and 18 months). There was everything we needed and any small problems we had or additional equipment was quickly provided by the owners. The rooms were spacious and the little ones loved running around. It was a 10 minute stroll to the centre of town where there were some delightful restaurants and there was a small supermarket round the corner and larger ones within walking distance. We had meals out on the raised patio which could have had a higher fence and gate round to stop the little ones heading for the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the boat trip to the beach on the island for 1 euro each way was lovely.
