where do i start? Before we got there Nello, the nicest guy in the world, organised a transfer last minute because our flights were cancelled and we arrived a day late.
there was a gentleman i assume was the manager, that greeted us on arrival and showed us around before taking us up to the villa in a minivan.
the food was amazing, loads of gluten free options on the menu and did I say the food was amazing, we had the sea bass one night, OMG, I quote my 20yo son " the nicest thing he's ever eaten". there was music in the bar one of the nights and one of the staff was singing and started a conga line, wore a wig and had lcd lights in his sleeves, amazing fun.
the food on other nights we ate in the hotel and at lunchtime were amazing.
the breakfast was devine, smoked bacon, fresh eggs, pastries, and more, absolutely amazing.
the service was the highest quality silver service, absolute professionals in every way.
the transfer service was free to sorrento to and from the hotel on the hour and half hour.
the lady on the front desk organised a transfer for us into sorrento for our trip to pompeii outside of the normal hours, not free but was cheap enough and the cost went to the hotel which was great.
the pool was lovely and there was plenty of seating for everyone.
The staff really couldn't do enough for us, really couldn't thank them more for everything they did for us.
I would highly recommend staying here if it was going to stay in the sorrento area.
a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay in italy absolutely amazing.
nothing, literally one of the nicest places I've stayed

The hotel is nice, the staff is helpful, the wifi works well. Breakfast was good too. The hotel is in the middle of nature, something positive
We didn't like staying at Vila Santa Agata. We found it far away, taking the bus was really bad on the Amalfi coast. The hotel transfer has a limited schedule. We couldn't have dinner in Sorrento without paying an expensive taxi.

We loved the location, above Sorento, at the edge of the beautiful and quiet Santa Agatha village. We loved walking to the village at night, dining there, and meeting people. We really didn't like the amount of people in Sorento so we loved walking down the steep way to the city and coming back with the hotel's very comfortable free shuttle.
The Villa is located on a quiet road with a magnificent view (unfortunately we had a few rainy and cloudy days so didn't get the best view but appreciated it).
Breakfast is taken in the adjacent Hermiage Grand Hotel.
I would have loved some fresh vegetables. It was pretty basic, with a very big dining hall (we dined in since the weather was a bit cloudy) which was a bit too noisy and full for us, staying in a smaller Villa.

Absolutely loved the location. Behind the Villa - about 3 minutes walk - is a gem of a town called Sant’Agata. It has fabulous restaurants and all the amenities you need - mini marts, laundromat, shoe and clothes shop - its not very big but it has everything you need as well as major bus stop to get to other towns on the Amalfi.
Thought the quality of the food at the main hotel could be improved - much better dining options at Sant’Agata

nothing, the pictures and the reviews do not represent the property
too far from sorrento, very limited shuttle hours and availability, lots of noise early in the morning by the cleaning staff, mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, Air conditioner turns off mid day, wifi is unreliable, wasps/insects by the pool.

Breakfast was really good, everything was clean. Staff was treating us like royaltys. Can not say anything negative about our stay there. View was amazing. Bog thanx to everyone who made our stay perfect.

The Villa is situated on a property near Sant Agata, a beautiful village with nice restaurants. The hotel also offered a free shuttle from and to Sorrento at specific hours. The room was clean and spacious and had a huge balcony with an amazing sea view. The staff was helpful and nice.
The only minus was that the mattresses were not too comfortable

Great attention from the staff, they’re all very helpful and nice. Very clean hotel and in good condition. They have a shuttle bus to go to/from Sorrento.
All good!

This was our second stay at this hotel - the first time in Villa Romita and the second in the hotel, Grand Hermitage. Firstly, the views are absolutely breathtaking. If you’re ok with not being in the town centre (there’s a shuttle bus to take you down to the town and back several times a day and also a public bus with some more times - the stop is right opposite the hotel), then stay here and enjoy waking up to views of Vesuvius! Secondly, the staff are the most attentive, kind and helpful of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in - they go out of their way to help you and it makes everything so less stressful (airport transfers for example). The pool area is lovely and clean and Tonino is a great drinks maker and generally great guy. Thank you to Renatino and the team, we loved Sorrento all over again!
We asked for a mattress topper for our bed, and then next day we had one - sorted!

Our room was very specious and clean, with beautiful views from balcony. Hotel offered free shuttle to local towns and cities. Breakfast were very nice to. All staff were very professional and helpful always with a smile. Thank you so much for making our stay so special.

Great location if looking for a quieter location with easy access into Sorrento. The view over Naples Bay is stunning
Probably in need of some updating but pleasant enough. Shower head needs replacing
