Location on the lake, tasty breakfast, availability of the staff.

Great location and very helpful staff
Felt a bit basic., we had no English tv or ability to get streaming service

The location is perfect just by the fjord. We arrived in the evening and enjoyed hours of sunset by the cabin.

Book only apartments, avoid cottages.
Apartment was good, but cottages where old and uncomfortable. Would avoid this place next time.

We needed to be there on that day, so we chose the place based on its convenient position. The shared kitchen is big enough for three cooks and, us being the sole guests, was amazing. Our room was very small but had a private bathroom and a heater.
We thought we were staying in a camping room (inside maybe a cottage or small building), but instead we were placed in a creepy motel outside the camping. Everything there is old, there was a spiderweb in our room and we were the sole guests. The boiler in the bathroom was turned off (as every heater in the hotel... which is weird, for Norway) and after turning it on and letting it work for 1 hour it gave very little hot water which quickly became lukewarm...
Turning on the four heaters in the hotel kitchen/living room made the power go out in the whole floor. Fortunately I found the electric panel inside an armoire quickly enough and figured out how to turn the power back on... and also figured out that three was the magic number to keep the power on and not freeze.
To check-in we had to make a phone call because no one was at the reception and a man showed up 10 minutes later to check us in. He then left because... well, there was literally no one else in the whole building.
Also... definitely not the cheapest place we have passed the night into, in Norway.

We stayed one night in a room. Rooms are basic. Big shared kitchen and living room. New owner, is upgrading the rooms.
3.0
I got a free upgrade to a bigger room.
Quiet location near to the fjord.
Cheap.
Big common sitting area and kitchen.
There was nobody at the reception although I arrived at the agreed time. I had to call and after 5 min somebody arrived.
Despite the upgrade it was still a small and basic room.

The see was just behind the house and the could be seen from the bedroom window as well. The bathroom was quite spacious. It has beautiful scenery all round the camp. We took the premium breakfast option which was a bit over 10 euros but was worth it. It had good options.
The sink in the toilet is a bit old.

The location was good.
At the first day of arrival we had to call for someone to come check us in because the reception was closed from 11. 00 - 16.00. It was stated in the booking confirmation that check in was from 15.00 so that was weird. We had booked a Seaview cabin and got cabin number 513. It was old and outdated and a lot of kitchenware was missing or dirty from the previous guests. After our first night we discovered a problem in the cabin making it impossible for us to stay there any longer. We alerted the staff and they moved us to another cabin number 518. The new cabin was nicer looking and seemed more fresh but it was still kitchenware missing and dirty dishes from previous guests. It was also missing a microwave. We did not feel like the owners took the problem with the first cabin seriously or understood the gravity of it.
So overall not a good experience at all.

Super spacious, a little worn out, but prices were reasonable, the location beautiful, internet great, kitchen fully equipped, our cabin was so close to the beach, kids had morning swim and we had our breakfast on the beach with the most amazing view of the lake and the mountains. Would come back just for that view! Amazing!
The waterboiler didn’t work (I drink a lot of tea).

Close to the ski centre. Very nice location down by the sea.
The toilet i our room was little bit damaged, it never stops flushing. After flushing it just keep on pumping water into the tank. Little irritating when sleeping. The bed was little bit small for a big guy like me(183cm and 110 kg).
Also the sofa should be replaced, it was in very bad shape.

Good location. Near Sauda skisenter, Svandalsfossen and Sauda Sentrum.
We rent a cabin with 3 bed rooms (6 bed) facing beach/lake. Well equipped cabin, have everything we need.
We were request 2 portable heater and they delivered to cabin quickly.
The electricity was down for about 20 minutes, after reported to reception by phone and they fast responded and the problem solved quickly.
The vacuum cleaner was very poor to suck the dust and dirt, took long time to vacuum whole cabin.
