This is a little gem 💎 . We booked last minute due to our holiday being cancelled by another company so I just wanted something in our original budget.
We couldn't be happier than to have ended up here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty large enough for us.
The owners were welcoming and friendly without being overbearing and were helpful with recommendations.
The breakfast was a really lovely surprise, cooked breakfast, cereal, toast, pastries, and yogurts. Nothing was too much trouble.
A comfortable lounge area and a small bar for an evening drink.
Situated a close walk to the main street and to the lift down to the beach.
We can't recommend this accommodation enough!
There wasn't anything. 10 out of 10 all round.

Upgraded to a double room from a single upon arrival which Was a nice touch. Plenty of choice for breakfast and hot food made to order which was always very tasty. Hot and cold drinks available throughout the day as well which was a nice bonus.
Nothing really springs to mind.

Very good breakfast and tea/coffee/hot chocolate available in the lounge all day
The booking confirmation stated that lunch and evening meal could be purchased at extra cost and these were not available as the property was only bed and breakfast

Clean, homely and welcoming. Close to the beach, with a short walking distance. Great sea view from the lounge. The proprietress and proprietor were professional, friendly, kind and delightful. We’ll be back. Forgot to mention two delightful pets (Boo the cat -, and Lylah the dog)

It is uncontrolled but friendly. I would stay there again.

Great breakfast. 0
We didn't like the shower because the water trickled out. My partner had an accident. The staff were very helpful. Not enough towels and why did the staff decide to dig up the garden. Not the best view from our bedroom window.

The only thing we liked was the host that greeted us when we arrived, and he later on took his time to chat with us so it was nice getting to know him. He made us feel welcome - but unfortunately no staff were present the next day.
Unfortunately the twin room we paid £100 a night for was not value for money. The room was not clean - in particular, the bathroom, the sink was dirty and used towels with makeup stains left the door. As the heater was not working, the room was cold and we had to use the extra blanket, but this was dusty and left us feeling wheezy by the morning with allergies.
It was unfortunate that this room has been priced this way - I would say this is mainly because it is close to the beach. The breakfast was meant to be included in the price but we did not receive any sort of hot breakfast - the lounge was cleaned and tables put away when we had come down for breakfast at 10AM; we weren't informed when they stopped serving food. We made ourselves a tea in the morning and then left. Noone was around to see us check out or to ask if everything was ok which was strange. We simply left the key on the front desk and left.
Overall, not the best service and facilities. The only reason we booked this place was based on the reviews but, since experiencing firsthand a night stay here, I wouldn't rate this place fabulous. It is unfortunate as the host was lovely, but shame about the room!

Very polite staff, tasty full English breakfast
The room is a bit too small, dirty cushions , sugar cubes are in a small jar and all the people put their hands in to take some
