Greeted by the host on arrival who was lovely.
She showed us around the flat which was warm, spotlessly clean and really comfortable.
They have a jacuzzi bath which was amazing.
Few miles away from town centre for drinks however taxi service was great.
They provided us with a welcome basket with cakes and biscuits which was a lovely touch and there was fresh flowers in the kitchen which was sweet.
There is a welcome pack with so much information such as: restaurants, takeaways, train times, boat times ect which was really well thought out and helpful.
Overall it was a lovely stay.
The only con I have about the property was the lack of privacy surrounding the hot tub which was the main reason we had booked the flat.
When we drove into the property. We seen that the hot tub area was actually in the drive way and was only fenced off at one side, so neighbours within the street and host could easily see you if using the hotub. We opted not to use it as we didn't feel quite comfortable enough and felt overly exposed, we were fortunate enough to have the jacuzzi bath though which is great.

Everything was so perfect for our wee stay! Very clean and the hot tub was amazing! We were made to feel very welcome, including our dog! Couldn't recommend it more!

As previous reviews point out this is an Annexe of the owners house. Some of the reviews concerned me and I was a bit surprised re outside layout from the comments. However, that was soon put to rest,
The house/annexe is in a quiet cul de sac. It's not overlooked and has lovely shrubbery around it. The annex has its own front entrance and a back door.
Once inside you don't feel as though it's an Annexe. It's a fully functional 1 bedroomed bungalow of decent proportion.
Catriona's attention to detail is fantastic. High quality furniture, crockery and soft furnishings throughout.
The bed and sofas were so comfy. It was quiet and peaceful.
I felt as if we were on a luxury spa break with the heated floor in the bathroom, a spa bath, lovely bath salts and white company bathrobes. The outdoor hot tub was an additional bonus, yes it looks onto the house, but the new fencing provided privacy from the neighbours and we did not feel uncomfortable because our privacy was respected by Catriona and her daughter Katie. We parked our car on the main driveway right beside the house.
The images on file are exactly as it looks in person. It was a wonderful stay. Catriona left us cake, fresh orange, milk and biscuits,
The only issue for us wasn't to do with the house or location, we chose not to cook, so did not have breakfast things with us,
Oban shops are extremely dog friendly, but our problem was finding a dog friendly cafe where you could eat inside as this proved difficult, it was was bitterly windy and cold, so sitting outside having brekkie wasn't as planned. The Oban Inn wasn't opened for business as yet. We ordered in an Indian 1 night, they found us no problem. We picked up an Italian takeaway too.
Despite the cafe experience we would highly recommend Katie's flat.
Everything was fantastic.

The property was very clean and had everything you could want for a short break. There were sweet goodies left for us, fresh orange, milk, coffee and tea. The owner did not disturb us during the stay. There were also bathrobes for use which was a nice touch. Inside the bathroom we had 2 bath bombs, bath crystals and a generous selection of The Scottish Fine Soap bath products.
The hot tub was not in a private location and was overlooked by the owners property. There is a fence in front of the hot tub and to one side but the area behind is completely exposed e.g. on walking out to the hot tub you can be seen by neighbouring properties and when sitting in the hot tub you are overlooked by the owner.I think it could be easily remedied by putting up a fence between the owners property and adjacent flat with a gate. The hot tub can't be used between the hours of 10pm - 10am which is extremely disappointing. The flat is in a residential area/cul-de-sac so you have houses all around. When arriving we were shown to the kitchen quite promptly and asked to complete our financial transaction. We were confused as we thought the payment had gone out through booking.com we felt embarrassed by the process.

Very spacious, cosy, extremely well maintained with everything we needed. We appreciated Catriona’s little touches on arrival like milk and orange juice in fridge and gift box of biscuits. the bathroom with spa bath tub was fab! It is in a quiet location with plenty of parking space at the property ( not off road ). Approachable, friendly host.

Great large flat attached to the owners house. Very clean and well appointed. One of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. Quiet location.
In a housing estate 30mins walk downhill into Oban so a taxi trip back in the evening after dinner.

place has a very homey feel and would love to stay again
very warm

We had a great stay in this lovely accommodation. Catriona made us very welcome and we wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the facilities. The area was residential and peacful. There was a bus but the walk downhill to Oban is only 20 minutes. After a long day trip to the Isle of Mull and Iona we took a taxi back!
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katie's flat - it was a great find.
We liked everything!

very clean and private property with fantastic views.

house was beautiful with great facilities

great stay and very very welcoming! hot tub was fantastic
the only thing is from looking at pictures you would not know that this is actually an Anex built onto the side of the house and with no fence it does offer little privacy when using the hot tub.

Location is superb nice and quiet. Flat is immaculate and very modern.

Flat was lovely and clean . The property had on site parking and was easy to get to .
The only part that let it down for me was outside seating area, it’s nice in pictures but too open to the neighbourhood and feels like sitting in the street. A higher fence and enclosed area would make this space perfect.

Loved the look of the flat online, hence my booking. Cleaning was a good standard, kitchen well equipped, the flat's deco is good and location peaceful ( until workmen turned up at 8 30am with a pneumatic drill!!! )
The slight smell of damp and mould thoughout the place, it must be SO DIFFICULT to keep it fresh in the winter - aired in the day and warm at night.
It wasn't too bad so don't be put off there was a dehumidifier to use.
