Steve was great and very welcoming but sadly the room was very basic, outdated and a disgusting smell from the bathroom! Smelt like drains, thankfully I was very busy and only slept there at night but the smell was unbearable.
The smell coming from the bathroom and the fact it was so basic. No shelves to put anything on and due to a single room there was only one cup, no glass!

The guest house is easy to find. To me the room was big enough, clean and had a comfortable bed.
It's a shame that this guest house is very close to a road. There is only a small sidewalk.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and Oban is an attractive town. There was no breakfast but I didn't mind this as there were plenty of restaurants within a short walk.
The single room was quite small and a bedroom cabinet would have been preferable to a stool.

Location excellent, parking for motorbike was opposit and very easy, Owner brilliant and helpful. Shared shower was OK
I like a hard mattress and this was too soft/bit old for me - personal taste perhaps?

Nice family run guest house in lovely Oban. We were made to feel welcome and enjoyed the breakfasts very much, nothing was too much trouble.
Oban itself is great, we loved the shellfish restaurant and stall near the ferry terminal on the front. It can be quite busy so booking is recommended in the restaurants but as we were waiting in the queue for the seafood shack they provided us with a pot of their gorgeous garlic and wine mussels, worth the wait - the platters looked fantastic too. Also a great view of Oban and the harbour from MacCaig's Tower up the hill, I suggest that if you can't do too many stairs, then walk up from the road way or path on either side.
Having a room at the front meant that you could hear the traffic noise outside, as the road was constantly busy being part of a one way system, saying that it didn't spoil our stay.

was nice and warm when i arrived and the heating came on following morning for me around 4am as i had to get an early ferry crossing to mull at 5.15am . comfortable sleep in comfortable bed. great location for the ferry and shops/cafes restaurants was great but i didnt really go out as had such a long drive up from london i needed to get as much sleep as i could. was a small tv in the room also! A pretty good hot shower in the bathroom too! parking spaces directly outside when i arrived around 6.30pm was great too!
no tea bags only nescafe coffee sachets. not enough milk sachets. and rarely now use dairy/milk. use oat milk.

Central, clean and friendly welcome.
The en-suite was very tight at the washbasin.

very clean through out the guest house and where it was from the shops
noone there to greet us got a message to say there would be an envelope inside the hall with my keys in it. bathroom was along the hall from our room walking by 2 rooms. it was very smelly from the plug holes. thought on suite meant bathroom in your room. no free parking had to park along the road in pay and display. asked if we could get breakfast there they didnt do breakfast but we could go to a hotel further down the road if we booked a table. the sign outside there guest house says bed and breakfast free parking and free wifi. there was a sign at the bottom of the stairs to say where to drop your keys off when leaving. no one was around but we could message them or ring the doorbell then they would come out.

I’m not providing breakfast and parking was an issue.

Quite central - easily reached from the station
A shame they don't provide breakfast. I never saw a member of staff and though they were easily contactable that was a little offputting
