Perfect onsen hotel on the coast. Kaiseki dinner and full Japanese breakfast were incredible. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Free shuttle to the train station. Wish we had more time here

Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived staff greeted us at our taxi walked us through check in and all the amenities (in English!) Then walked us to our room which was an amazing ocean front room with a full private open air onsen on the balcony! They had many free activities throughout the day and the included breakfast and dinner were amazing! My husband and I came here during our very packed and busy japan trip just to relax and we would go back in a heartbeat!
It gets a little harder to travel to this area if you don't have a car but we used the train and taxi's and got by just fine!

The small touches in the room: the local snacks, everything you need to make a cup of freshly ground pour over coffee, etc.
There was no elevator, so it was a bit tough dragging the suitcases up the stairs.
4.3
Private bath, room size, extremely comfortable futons.
No elevators, close to zero English information and staff doesn't speak English as well. You MUST be fine with eating seafood, there are no alternatives.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, excellent dinner, free entry to an open-air bath (located directly at the see!), lovely yukaras and shuttle service from/to Izu-Atagawa station. All staff were aware that we stayed for 2 nights and we got very nice services (lunch box etc).
No ocean view from the "ocean view" bath 😉
Blackout curtains would be nice as the sun rose quite early (before 5am in July).

The staff were very considerate, friendly, and provided excellent service.

Gem in the outskirts of Izu Peninsula. The services were too notch. We were offered wine beer, all kind of summer drinks with delicious Japanese sweets. The view from the room was majestic outlooking the Pacific. The attached Onsen with the room was the cherry on the top and it was perfect for me and my girlfriend to relax and have some fresh air. 10/10 recommended.

Spacious and comfortable room. Great dinner. Very nice onsens. The hotel is big and the atmosphere is nice. If you have a car there are a bunch of great views to see, or just staying at the hotel is also nice.
There's a view to the see from the room but a bit obscured by the trees. It might depend on which room you get.

Breakfast is ok and the store's goods were good.

The property is a traditional Japanese Onsen resort on the coast with a breathtaking view. The people running the hotel have thought of everything to keep guests entertained during their stay. They offered 3 meals a day which were different each night. They also offered a beer and appetizer time and grilled food for a snack. When we checked in we were given fireworks and information about the events at the property. Private Onsen’s are available by reservation and are nice and relaxing. Would defiantly stay here again.
The only thing I didn’t like was the jacuzzi onsen was really hot.

We spoke English only and the staff went above and beyond for us. We arrived late for our check in and when we went to eat late, they were able to accommodate and bring food to our room because our kids were tired. Amazing staff and exceptional service and onsen! My husband and I h have tattoos but we were able to book a private onsen for just us because we have tattoos and overlooked the ocean. Great service, definitely book again!

Stuff was very friendly and there were a lot of fun events in the hotel, that were already included in our stay. Like all you can drink beer and fried squids on a nice terrace, an a small lottery and fireworks :)
Also hotel has a nice variety of hot spring baths. And they organized dinner and breakfast well, so it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait.
Toilet's bidet in the room's toilet wasn't working.
And breakfast staff was a bit hard to get attention of. I wanted to order coffee, but after answering "it's gonna be an extra price", the guy just run away and it was hard to catch him again, so I had to go search for him myself. I don't mind paying extra, just want my coffee ahaha. I got my coffee eventually, so that's a win ;)
