Great location and amenities

Great facilities and location and we got a free upgrade which was lovely. It pretty much had everything, from ski rental to spas to restuarant and bar which made the hotel very convenient. Loved the cosy atmosphere with the fireplace in the lobby area.

The bartender Toto is the best. Very polite, helpful and fun to be around.

A good accommodation from where the gondola is accessible on foot, with ski boots, in ten minutes

It is a nice hotel with an amazing main hall with a lot of sofa and a big chimney, creating a friendly area. The food in the half-board choice is very good. The breakfast is at 7.30, a very good hour for skiers. The mushrooms and cheese pie from the restaurant were particularly well cooked. Most of the employees in the restaurant are very attentive and discreet. It is a very clean hotel, towels are changed daily, the bed linen twice a week. The spa area is ok but needs renovation. The plumber was very responsive and turned on the radiator that didn't work initially in the bathroom and also the sink that was dripping a little. The parking area is secured. WiFi is very good. Overall, the hotel is well managed.

Most of the guests being Romanian, it would seem normal that there should be at least one Romanian program on the TV, because it would definitely make them come back, especially those who don't ski. The seals on the windows should be checked, because when it's very cold and windy outside you can feel a draft of cold air inside. It would be good to have towels at the SPA to be used only there, in the sauna, without having to take the ones from the room.

Lovely stay at Bansko for a family with kids.

The location is excellent with easy access to the gondola and walking distance to pubs and restaurants area. We also loved the generous breakfast and the proper decorations. Clean rooms and good beds.

It was a little bit noisy due to the fact that all rooms entrance doors are facing the lobby area. Happily, after 10-11 pm everything was carefully shut down by the staff, including all noise. The pool is a little bit small but all in all clean and a good facility.

Pretty, Beautiful Spacious Hotel

Beautiful foyer, sofas, pretty fire place, inexpensive bar, huge breakfast buffet selection, kettle in room to make own coffee and there is a fridge. Housekeepers are brilliant. .

Just getting used to the 15 min walk to gondola and back with ski boots and kit each day as did not see the hotel shuttle bus other than once. Bar shuts a bit early if you have visitors (10pm). Some of the hot food is not very hot (beans etc). Need more signs up about not wearing ski boots in hotel.

A good choice for Bansko

The location is very convenient and the hotel is spacious. There is a great variety of choices in the breakfast and one can also buy the ski pass and exchange money in the reception. It was snowing heavily but the parking space was constantly and quickly cleaned by the hotel.

The spa is somehow not very good preserved and the prices at the bar are a bit high. Eventhough we have specifically requested for a quiet room and we even received a confirmation from the hotel, we were given a room on the first floor, just above the street, where all hotel guests arrive by bus or cars and next to the elevator...

Good location. Final apartment was nice .

Good location.

1- Breakfast was boring. Dinner was awful !!!!- just don’t eat dinner in the hotel ! 2- The Jacuzzi was out of order during all our stay - 11 days ….. 3- The Apartment we received upon arrival (at 16:00) was not the one we requested- it had the bedroom on a second floor/ gallery. We asked to get the apartment requested but we got it only the next day .

DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!

Nice hotel thats about it.

Staff very rude and abrupt. Jewellery stolen from my suitcase. Money stolen from my friends room. Staff again very abrupt when approached about these thefts and not at all helpful. Also yonka products advertised all along the walls for spa. I'm a beautician and have worked with yonka. I booked a facial expecting to receive what is usually an amazing facial. Very disappointed to realise it was not yonka and absolutely nothing like a yonka facial. When I asked they didn't even seem to know what i was talking about. All in all the 4 star rating is not deserved as far as i am concerned 😕.

Superb

It was a nice and cozy location. Modern style and nice winter decorations. Excelent cuisine :). Great facilities like pool, sauna, large and cozy lobby.

It was quite nosy during late in the evenings and even late in the night. The staff (concierge) should take attitude.

Do not expect much

The hotel was very clean and neat. It was the best part of it. The breakfast was good. there were lots of different choices for people all around the world.

The beds weren’t comfortable. And we got disturbed twice. They just got in our room without even knocking although there was a “do not disturb” sign. One of those times, the lady went in and checked the minibar despite seeing the room was occupied.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, nice lounge area, ski pass available to buy straight from the hotel, ski & snowboard renting straight from the hotel, close to the gondola lift and city centre

old furniture in the rooms that need renovation, a bit cold rooms, music in the lounge is very loud from early on in the morning and very disturbing for the rooms that have windows facing that area

Three nights in January 2022

Great location close to the Gondola and town but in a quieter location so not noisy at night. Good selection at breakfast and a lovely warm pool so ease those aching legs after a day on the slopes. The staff were great in the most part (see below). We were offered an early breakfast on the day of our checkout which was a nice touch.

No shower curtain so we kept getting a flooded bathroom, having to mop up the water with our towels. Tried to buy lift passes from the lady based at reception but she was very unhelpful so we got them elsewhere. Jacuzzi out of order for the duration of our stay.

No dishes, no spoons, no forks, just 2 glasses, even the appartment has a kitchenette, you cannot use it without it The hotel has good amenities, but had a better days also... there seems to be no interest in investing

Decent old 3 stars hotel with average service

decent breakfast with good range of dishes, big room, spa is OK if not the smell of chlorine, not far away from ski lift and provides ski bus, guy in ski service is great and adorable

It’s a very old hotel with old furniture (hole in a floor is a shower!) and poor service. I would hardly give it 3 stars in terms of what’s inside and service. My choice of a hotel from an international network failed this time. quality of team including reception, cleaning is far far far below expectation one may have going to “4 stars international network hotel”. Really comfortable, easy, relaxing, would come back!

Excellent breakfast. Catered for everyone. Fire in the lobby.

Swimming pool area needs better drainage. Staff giving massages should have worn masks. Staff going to room to check mini bar as we were in a rush to leave at 5:30am. Find a better solution please.

Need renovation..also, the hotel is very noisy (you can hear everything through the walls, you can hear loudly when evereyone make shower or when they’re talking in the lobby - I was at 4th floor from 5)
