Leuke huisje midden in de natuur.

Je kunt er urenlang wandelen door verschillende soorten natuur. Wandel tip: Andreas Schotel wandelroute + Landgoed de Utrecht.

Very good

Location perfect for kids and adults. Saw plenty of wildlife and enough room to play for the kids. Walk trails are starting from park and beautiful quite

Would have been better if there was a washing machine in the accomodation.

Bungalow

The scenery is lovely, the bungalow is spacious. The owner and family are lovely and helpful. The house keeper was also friendly and helpful.

There was no oven or toaster. The beds could do with updating as they are wooden beds that creak everytime you move and the quits could do with replacing as they had dirty marks on them, maybe more pillows too. The property was also infested with ants and the mosquitoes had a field day biting us. The property could do with more hanging space. Be aware of the surcharges that you have to pay on arrival, although you should receive an email about these.

Beautiful and comfy

A beautiful location, lots of forests, walking / biking trails, birds singing. Good to get away and have some quiet time. The facilities were simple and clean. Everything worked. There's an excellent "herberg" restaurant nearby if you don't want to cook.

I would have liked to be notified that we could bring a BBQ along. Because that would've been extra nice. Although there was garden furniture available, there was no light outside - so advise to bring a lamp / candles.

Ant infestation Dirty windows Dirty coffee machine Have to leave windows open - means lots of bugs inside Bed sheets are disgusting and feel like cardboard Duvets have stains on them Unsafe windows - feel like plastic ? No bedside tables Smells of damp Things left under radiator from previous visitors - not been cleaned properly Television feels unsafe Uncomfy bed Rubbish down the back of the bed, clearly hasnt been cleaned in the last 10 years Under the kitchen cabinets has never been cleaned, gross splash marks

Great place for us, maybe less so for people that expect a 'modern' bungalow with lots of facilities

Nice really old fashioned bungalow (single glass windows) but with good heating, nice kitchen and fine bathroom. Separate space to store our bicycles. Bungalows are distant from each other, so each cabin 'free' in its own part of the forest. Great type of accommodation for us (pensioned couple),

In spite of the fact that we really liked this place, we must mention that unfortunately the bungalow was not very clean. Looked OK at entry, but floor proved to be very dusty (including in bed and bathroom), and there were lots of cat/door hairs on the couch. Luckily a vacuumcleaner was part of the inventory. Not all plates and pans were clean, but that is an omission of previous guests.

Very pleasant stay

Very quiet, forest starts at the door step. Birds singing. Many routes for walking and cycling. Proper heating system, well equipped kitchen.

The house had a bit of a dump smell at the beginning, most probably because no one stayed there during winter.

We'll be back....

Exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet with very few people, surrounded by bird song and squirrels!. Plenty of woods and walking, nature at its best. Friendly guy at reception. Lovely welcome gifts for us and our dogs. Definitely recommend this for well earned escape from day to day life. Accommodation was more than adequate, with everything we needed and comfortable beds!

Kitchen utensils were basic but sufficient. A hoover would have been handy. WiFi a bit patchy but again sufficient.

Disappointing

Lage Pierre and Oisterwijk areas are incredibly beautiful for bike rides but make sure you find a proper bike rental.

Very old and not well maintained building. Basic cleaning before arrival, you would spend a few hours cleaning yourself. Very uncomfortable old fashion bed (one of those with cardboard underneath and with head and feet frames, so if you're taller than 180cm you won't be able to extend your legs). Very little amenities (not even hand soaps), nothing in the pantry. Kettle needs serious decalcifying. The bungalow has no privacy at all, since it's right on the main road of the park and right in front of a public playground. No much grass surrounding the house and ver dry almost sandy road so every time there's car passing by it becomes very dusty. No mosquito net in any of the window. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it.
