I would recommend this villa for those who love old historical villas. From this side, it really was beautiful, everything original and looked great. The place has its magic. This place also has a beautiful garden that we unfortunately could not enjoy because we didn't have great weather. But if you have a chance to spend some time in the garden, you will be satisfied.
Unfortunately, as the villa is old, it also smelled really bad inside and we could not ventilate the room as the smell came from the drain. The bed sheets also smelled, I guess it could be because of the rainy weather but it should not happen anyway...

beautiful garden with great panorama on the Danube river. Good location in Vienna's proximity. Very friendly host.

Traditional villa located in a very peaceful place, close to the Danube. Comfortable big rooms. Even if the decoration is a bit outdated, the place has its charm. In the absence of a prepared breakfast a toster and coffee/tea making facilities were greatly appreciated.
I would personally welcome the possibility to order or have breakfast. We managed somehow with the toster and coffee/tea facilities, but a proper breakfast would be so much better.

Villa Neuwirth is extremely cozy, beautiful, quiet, close to nature! The view is wonderful and definitely worth it, and the proximity to Vienna makes the villa perfect for tourists.
Best of all is the smiling hostess with whom conversations are wonderful! Communication with her was the greatest pleasure and my family and I are very grateful for her hospitality and the opportunity to get to know each other. We have a wonderful memory of Vienna precisely thanks to this place!

Homely atmosphere in an old villa, quiet location, warm welcome, pets were allowed without extra fee, coffee machine in the room and breakfast was served to the room.

Lovely hostess who spoke very good English. The house has it's own period charm and feel, allowing the imagination to run on what it would have been like in its heyday, probably with staff. Because we were out most of the days we were not able to enjoy the back garden.
It has been commented on before, but you need to be fit to get from the car to the entrance up all the exterior steps and then up the grand staircase to the first floor if you are fortunate enough to have the marvellous view across the Danube. When we arrive we had difficulty making contact with the hostess to announce our arrival as the doorbell and phone were not answered.

Everything was amazing. Great atmosphere

Great location over the Danube
Dated decor; no staff present so when the electric circuit went out, we had to find the fuse box ourselves in the middle of the night

Terrace with view on Danube river . Espresso machine. Kitchen is enogh equiped to live there some time .
The apartment was not good clened and dirty . There was a lot spider web in different places of room and bathroom . I found it also even in such unexpected place like microwave oven. We with my wife used first half hour to take away spider webs from corners of ceeling. I sow also other insects in the room . Some thing in the room need to be changed or repaired because are already very outworn. We booked 2 nights but after first night we left apartment.
I think the honorable lady who is host of this house need sombody younger to help her to keep the house.

The Lady of the house has a charm of giving an idea of the history of the house. Breathtaking views and a great location. You have feel as if you are taken back in time which was amazing.
If I have to, it would be the stairs go up to the apartment and could do with some refreshed furniture. Not a big problem for me though

The room was beautifully furnished with antiques. We had a huge balcony with an awesome view. The kitchen was tiny, not ideal for cooking, but good enough for our needs. Close to the Danube to cycle, with nice hiking routes nearby. Paddle boats to rent at a close venue on the Danube.
Unfortunately there were no grocery stores, or bakeries nearby. Only one restaurant kind of close, but very good and reasonable.

Nice quite location! Nice host and great house. I and my family enjoyed our stay. We did some hiking and biking right next to the location. It is also just a 20-minute drive from Vienna.

Location is good, a nice town close to Vienna. The house is wonderful, full of history. We booked a last minute weekend. The room is spacious and quiet, although being the cheapest one we did not have any views, fair enough.
Speaking about the breakfast, it consisted of bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, jam, tea.
The main concern was and turned out to be the bed, which is not an actual bed with a real mattress, but rather a kind of sofa bed base which is extremely hard, specially for those who are light. We expressed this concern to the owner, but she just replied that "some people like hard mattress other soft mattress" ... I agree, perhaps then an intermediate real mattress is the standard option in many hotels or bed and breakfasts.

The host was exceptional. Very attentive to our needs. Thank you very much. 9
