The Property is well managed and was very clean. My adult children and in-laws really enjoyed the pool.
A TV would be nice.

No 76 may be a little jaded, but in a very much loved way. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotlessly clean. It was the perfect place to chill during a particularly hot spell - even the locals commented on the heat. The pool was a godsend & the hammock on the balcony became my own little haven after a swim. There were plenty of towels, bathroom, beach/pool & kitchen. The laundry facilities are excellent - we really didn’t need to take nearly as many clothes. We all slept like babies; an added bonus for me as an insomniac. Although only the upstairs bedroom has air-con there are numerous fans available. The kitchen was well equipped, though most of our cooking was done on the barbecue. Communicating with David, Mandy & Sheliza throughout the whole process from booking to departure was so easy - they were always on hand to message. There were a few minor issues we had to sort out, but with their assistance, everything was overcome. Our only real problem was with the driveway which is very steep and not the easiest to negotiate, but we managed.
A small word of warning though - make sure to wear shoes on the patio & around the pool as the tiles get extremely slippery when wet; with only 3 hours left of our holiday, I slipped & fell face first while exiting the lounge & ended up with a nasty bump on my head, a sprained wrist & a bruised big toe.
Don’t expect 5* luxury - but expect 5* relaxation, location & chill factor.

A quiet and comfortable 10 night stay at this villa, with a nice pool and the sound of the sea.

Very charming, large, quiet and secluded property in an upscale nighborhood but with a very big mosquito problem. Maybe update the screens? And the uncomfortable old furniture too. Reupholster everything, including the beds.

Resort like but very comfortable, like a home away from home but on vacation. House was well-stocked with linens and a chefs kitchen supplies! A dip in the pool in the evening was such a delight! Hosts and local contacts all wonderful to work with. Airport pickup much appreciated. Our team was able to help a local church using this house as a home base. Thank you!

Beautiful setting, peaceful, restful, well equipped, comfortable home. We know that this industry has had a very hard time during covid and the property is now ready for a little sprucing but the reasonable price definitely reflected this.
We actually found the WiFi better than expected and the only thing we missed was a dishwasher 🤣.
The island was stunning and the people lovely. We had a wonderful 2 week break and would definitely return 😁

Great Family Place
The property is well located to get to wonderful beaches some easy walking distance. It is well maintained. The only drawback is lack of AC except one bedroom upstairs. We adjusted to the warmth but still missed cooler night time temps. Lack of biting insects except at dusk was a big plus. The pool was refreshing especially before turning in at night. Grounds are well maintained. We had 4 adults and 3 teenage boys. A car is a plus as the best grocery is 30 min away in St. Georges. We rarely return to the same location but this home might easily be the exception. I would give this property 4.5 stars.

Just returned from a glorious 14 days at New Westerhall. As others have said, the house is more beautiful in person. The house faces East, so each morning you wake up to see the sun coming up over the ocean - and your personal pool. It was paradise.
New Westerhall is just a little "off the beaten path", but with a rental car was very accessible. There is at the beginning from New Westerhall a SOG store .The town St. Georges and a slew of wonderful beaches (Morne Rouge and Gran Anse were all within a 20 minute drive. The driving is definitely an "adventure" -- narrow, winding and hilly roads. Especially challenging for those not used to driving on the left. But we quickly became comfortable and were able to navigate the island in daylight. We generally opted to stay in at night and avoid the roads in the dark.
Maps.me was a good map, which you can used offline around the whole Island. A small SUV with many power is a good idea for renting an car
All in all a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Grenada...
Our family of 4 stayed comfortably in this home for a week's vacation. Booking the property was easy. The owner was very attentive to all our questions. We were picked up at the airport by Lashlei. He delivered us safely to the house where we were met by Sheliza, the property manager. She walked us through the property, answering our questions and offering suggestions of things to do on the island. She gave us her number and followed up with us during our stay to make sure all was well. We ended hiring Lashlei for the week as our driver. His service was impeccable. Our oldest daughter, had her friend who works on the island for the Peace Corps, come to the house for 2 days of R & R. There was plenty of room for the early risers to hang out while others slept in. This property is exactly as advertised on Homeaway. Our family would recommend it as as quiet, beautiful oasis.

Perfect for a family vacation
We are so happy and thankful that this property is shared with others who are vacationing in Grenada. This was the perfect home away from home for our family of 5. The villa is secluded, comfortable and beautiful. We rented a car and explored the island almost every day. There is so much to do from hiking to beaches, to waterfalls and hot springs with monkeys! For us, having a place to unwind after a day of exploring the island was really important. One of our son’s has special needs and anxiety and he was able to truly relax in this home. The owner’s are readily available and very considerate. The amazing pool helped! We would definitely recommend this villa

Very Lovely Home 4 1/2 stars
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your home. In reading your description in VRBO, I find
all details to be accurate. Anyone reading your description can feel confident, they are getting everything as described.
Your house keeper was very accommodating, meticulous and thorough.
We were disappointed that we could only get wifi in the master bedroom only spasmodically.

We had a hard time leaving the spacious house. We found everything just as described or better. We enjoyed the pool and the relaxing atmosphere of the veranda. Our son who lives in Grenada got to spend time with us which was a highlight of our week. The house was perfect for us as our married daughter and her husband used the little cottage. Our 2 daughters had their own room upstairs and our son also had his own room. This house is highly recommended by our family.

The property is marvelous, well maintained and appointed and convenient to areas of interest to five elderly individuals. La Sagesse beach is a must visit site, great swimming, food and drinks and is located about 20 minutes away. SOG Foods is conveniently located for access to tea, milk and small grocery items. We actually found a good California wine, "Josh" pinot noir that took us back there a few times. Sheliza is very accommodating and while we did not interact much with her, she signaled a willingness to do whatever was necessary to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were delighted to enjoy this wonderful property for a week, and would like to thank the Marshalls for sharing it with us. The neighborhood is well maintained, safe and we were comfortable being there. We enjoyed the chirping of birds and sounds of rolling tides that lulled us to sleep every night. Overall, this experience is unforgettable and I would recommend this home to anyone to enjoy the comfort and elegance it offers.

Beautiful island, beautiful house
We loved our stay in Grenada. The house is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The owners are very gracious and responsive to questions. The estate agent on the island was helpful, friendly, and didn’t mind waiting for us an extra two hours when our plane was delayed. Our family had a wonderful, relaxing holiday and will definitely come back.

We love the villa! Sheliza and the housekeeper do amazing jobs, the Marshalls are super quick to answer every question one might have before arriving.
The villa is so spacious, super clean, the kitchen is amazingly well equipped so that cooking was really fun. The pool, garden and basically everything in and around the villa is kept clean and beautiful, plus the pool (and the rest of the villa) are mostly childproof which is really great. We could celebrate the renewal of our vows in the garden and after having seen a lot of the island (we stayed for 4 weeks in two different places), we can only say that the villa is definitely the best place to stay and to celebrate a small wedding.
You definitely need a car to get around, and you will definitely shed some tears when you have to leave because the view of the ocean when you hang out in the hammock, the sound of the sea and the constant cool breeze are unique - just visit the southern end of the peninsula, enjoy the rough nature and you will never want to leave.
Also the beach near the villa is super nice to explore.
We can recommend this villa 100 %.

It was very hard to drag ourselves away from this lovely property yesterday and I think it would be true to say that we felt it was like a home away from home! Loved the peace and quiet and lack of anything touristy nearby, but not too far to dip into the restaurants and beaches of the the south west coast. House is clean, spacious and well equipped, particularly for cooks. We constantly had a breeze which kept the house cool and really didn't need air conditioning and rarely used the fans. Lovely areas to sit outside in shade or sun and we will all miss the nocturnal cacophony of insects, birds, frogs and the waves, that lulled us to sleep! Thank you Marshalls for a great holiday, we will be back!

Great place to stay! Quiet and secluded home with a beautiful pool and yard. House was clean and had everything we needed. Owners and property managers are great to work with. Enjoyed the beautiful beaches of Grenada as well as the rainforest and waterfalls. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay in Fort Jeudy
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Located in a very upscale neighborhood, this home had everything we were looking for. It offers a tranquil tropical setting and a safe location. Everything was as advertised, (or better!). You will need a rental car, but we wanted this anyway to explore the island's many sites. We took daytrips to the Grand Etang rainforest, Seven Sisters waterfalls, Belmont Estate, (don't miss lunch here!), Rivers Antoine Rum Distillery, Levera national park and of course the world famous beaches. And don't miss the trails to the rocky points right there in the neighborhood. A great trip! Highly Recommended!

We walked in through the front door full of anticipation and ready to see in reality what the photographs had promised and truly we were not disappointed - in fact, I would go as far as to say that the pictures do not do the property full justice. The house was not only spotless but there is a homely and welcoming feel inside and the interior is complimented by the beautiful, well tended gardens and superb swimming pool. The colours are so vibrant and with the backdrop of the ocean, the sound of the waves and the scenic, lush views, you truly know that you have arrived in Grenada and New Westerhall Point is the ideal spot from which to enjoy it. The layout of the house worked well for our group of 7. The cottage with the extra accommodation it provided meant that there was plenty of room for everyone. All the bedrooms are a good size and well appointed to take advantage of the views and breeze that cools the home during the day. The kitchen is kitted out with everything needed for preparing meals 'at home' and bbqs on the terrace were wonderful. We were very grateful to find that a supply of practical items had been left that we were able to use and replenish on departure. The option of sending a small shopping list of essentials to the agent in advance of our arrival was offered and with hindsight, we would recommend this to any future guests as the property is, as stated, in a secluded location and you will need transportation (or enjoy a long walk!) to the nearest supermarket. As well as the practical, the owners have thoughtfully provided a host of personal touches - board games, golf clubs, inflatables for the pool, outdoor hammocks for the terrace - to name but a few. Venturing slightly further afield, there are gorgeous, pristine beaches within a short walk of the villa - most times we were virtually alone on them but felt very safe. We enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and live music in Umbrellas, Grande Anse, the delicious food and awesome setting in its tranquil cove of La Sagesse Restaurant and Sails in St George's. Great fun also was tennis played at Coyaba Beach Resort and golf at the Grenada Golf and Country Club. We had planned to do so many other things but the villa was such a great place that we found ourselves spending more and more time there simply relaxing. You can tell that the owners have put their hearts into this property and they care about their guests. It is a true gem in paradise.

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at this villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The villa is extremely spacious, has plenty of furniture yet is uncluttered. High ceilings in all rooms give an airy sense of space and assist in keeping the villa cool. Numerous windows allow in copies amounts of light and allow the breeze to blow through, again, keeping the house cool. A large kitchen means you can cook anything, though we went for outdoor barbecue most nights. A large terrace gives plenty of seating and lounger area. The pool is great, with a maximum depth of around 7-8 feet which means you can jump and dive in! Also a great paddling area at one end for young children. The villa is orientated pretty well due east at the rear so you get full sun from first thing until around lunchtime with the pool and end terrace enjoying the sun into mid-afternoon as it traverses the lower roofline at that end of the property. Pool is well maintained, the rear garden is well tended, as is the whole estate, every day we saw gardeners tending various parts of the New Westerhall Point estate. New Westerhall is on the Fort Jeudy headland and you get great views of Egmont Bay as you drive off Grand Anse Valley and then of Westerhall Bay as you crest the ridge at New Westerhall Point. We enjoyed touring the island but we also found ourselves spending more and more time at the villa as it offers everything you need for a peaceful holiday. The villa also benefits from accessible and pro-active owners in the Marshall's and from a very efficient, friendly and professional local agent, Sheliza. You will need a car if you stay here as any bars or restaurants are some distance away. We hired a tired soft top Vitara 4x4 from Sanvics Autos with no air blower, a dodgy electric passenger window and bits falling off it every time you opened the doors, and we absolutely loved it!! A typical West Indies motor! You wouldn't get anything with this much character from AVIS....!! If you are going to visit the Caribbean, forget the sterile, characterless 5 star 'all inclusive'. Rent this villa, hire a car and go explore. Would we go back to Grenada? Definitely. Would we rent this villa again? Yes, definitely. Go enjoy.

The villa was exactly as shown in photos....really lovely home away from home. Lovely setting, beautiful views from upper floor balcony...pool was great for cooling off and family fun! I would highly recommend a stay in New Westerhal.

If looking for a relaxing, well appointed and very peaceful place to stay in Grenada, look no further than this villa. Everything the owners describe is as is and more. The villa is very clean and comfortable and kept cool by the breeze that comes in to the villa and the veranda. The pool is just wonderful to cool off in and very easily accessed if you have limited mobility as I do. Listening to the waves crashing on the beach down the hill sends you to sleep, in fact, I have not slept 8 hours solid in years but I did here. The owners Mandy and Dave are brilliant in answering any questions you have before going and their agent Shileza is really informative, friendly and approachable about any questions you may have and is in as much contact or as little as you wish. We renewed our wedding vows in the garden and it was the perfect setting and made our special day even more special. I can think of nothing to fault it and as we have hectic every day lives in the UK, it was all just perfect in every way. It's only 15 - 20 minutes to supermarkets and restaurants and beautiful beaches so all the island is very accessible.
If you are lucky to be looking to stay in Grenada, this is the place to be.
Thank you Dave and Mandy, it was all just perfect.

After a ten year absence it was so good to return to Grenada and discover that it was just as wonderful as I remembered!
Mandy & David's villa is conveniently situated within a 20 minute drive from the airport in a very scenic location and is an extremely comfortable and well equipped holiday home. All we had to do on arrival was unpack the groceries, don a swimming costume and relax - it was that easy!
There was nothing that I could think, 'Oh that would be nice if that was provided' because everything already had been!
Sheliza is a superbly welcoming and pleasant young lady who oozes efficiency and leaves you with the impression that nothing is too much trouble.
We re-visited Aquarium and The Calabash Hotel and sampled the newer delights of Port Louis, Nutmeg and Umbrella's. We re-explored St George's, Mon Rouge, Grand Anse and the rainforest but it was equally enjoyable to return to the villa and just chill by the pool, watching the hummingbirds and frigate birds and listening to the sound of the waves.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mandy & David's 'home from home' to anyone and I hope to return in the very near future - after all what's not to like?

After visiting Grenada for 2 weeks early last year I couldn't wait to be back! and after the great experience we had renting this villa then it was a no brainer where we wanted to stay this year when we returned for another 2 week get away! I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else on the island. With sea views from the villa (especially good from the top balcony) and being within just a short drive from both the airport and the capital of St.Georges it was in the perfect location. The area felt very safe as did the rest of the island.
We have visited with a large group on both occasions, 8 on the first trip with very slightly fewer the second time, and even then the villa felt spacious, comfortably fitting all 8 around the dinner table.
The villa was clean throughout without a fault there at all, as was the garden which was well maintained including the swimming pool.
We ate at numerous restaurants over the two weeks, The Cave House at Mount Hartman Bay Estate being one of our favourites, but the kitchen in the villa also allowed us to eat in on other days and nights which was handy.
We all enjoyed the odd drink in beach bars such as coconuts and umbrellas, listening to live music on some occasions.
As well as the obvious relaxing around the villa's pool and many lovely beaches of the island we filled our days with many activities such as a tour of a local rum distillery, a cocoa plantation, a tour round the island with a local tour guide (definitely recommend!) and river tubing just to name a few. The river tubing is well worth checking out if you're the kind of person to enjoy that, very fun!

This is a lovely family's villa that is located in new westerhall point. A car is definitely needed to get around with that said there are a number of local rental companies. The location feels safe and we have enjoyed the villa and the small cottage that we also rented. Our children aged 17 and 4 enjoyed staying her and having a pool is definitely a must. As we are not great animal lovers get to down to the five was difficult as owners in very rarely have there doors on leashes, so after a few attempts we gave up dealing with the dogs became to tiresome. There were a total of five of us in our party and then three joined us for a couple of days so there was plenty of space for us all. The cottage is smaller than anticipated and really the size of the bed only sleeps one unless your both extremely slim.
We were fortunate to be able to explore the island having hired a local taxi and it's driver, so we were able to adventure out a little.
We would have like to rate this villa higher however the agent overseeing the property has made it difficult to do so. It is our opinion that she has failed David and Mandy in her role as greeting and ensuring we were settled. To say she was rude is an understatement so much so that the home was not prepared for our arrival and this was very disappointing. I will say that Mandy and David did however address the issues quickly when raised with them. Issues were as follows we did not get a tour or complete any kind of inventory upon arrival. Shaliza, did not introduce herself to my family as she was put out that we were delayed. There was no toilet paper or hand soap and no matches to light the oven for which I was told I needed to purchase. The floors were very dusty, and having experienced the quality of cleaning that the cleaner did, the villa was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival. As for the pool, well dirty does not best describe it. We were also sharing the villa with cockroaches for which we were told there was not much they could do. I am not sure of agent costs, but do believe that Mandy and David should revisit what is expected, in their absence.
So it is with a heavy heart that the rating is low as we would have liked to given it higher, with that said and some adjustments and getting rid/ controlling the cockroaches, we would stay again as Mandy and dave did indeed quickly sort the issues out as best they could from where they were.

This is a lovely family villa.
This was our 2nd visit to Grenada. Our 1st holiday was ten years previous when we spent a fortnight in a hotel near Grand Anse. We loved the island and the laid back lifestyle the Grenadians tend to enjoy so we were keen to go back for another two weeks. However whilst our hotel was very nice it lacked the privacy and quietness that we were seeking in our holidays so we decided to book an exclusive villa where we could do exactly as we pleased without having to arrange our days around a hotel’s timetable. We chose this villa based upon the photos on the website and for its location as it was only 20 minutes from the airport, in the south of the island (the best place to be) and in a newly developed residential area where the occupiers were affluent holiday home owners. When we arrived in Grenada we hired a car from a reliable company based at the airport (recommended and very easy to do with a UK Driving Licence). This gave us the freedom we had lacked on our previous holiday to explore the island and all it had to offer at our leisure. Upon our arrival at the Villa we were both relieved and very pleased to see that it was exactly as portrayed in the photos on the website (as what you sometimes see is not what you may get). The layout and facilities were as shown in the photos and the villa was very clean and comfortable both inside and out. In addition everything we needed to cater for ourselves was provided (as one would expect) which meant that apart from our groceries we lacked for nothing. When it came to quietness, scenery, wildlife (including beautiful Humming birds feeding on the patio) the villa delivered on all fronts and the sound of the sea lapping on the golden sand topped everything off. No need to get up early to reserve a sun lounger by the pool, beat the rush to the breakfast buffet or reserve a table for your evening meal!. Booking this villa was without doubt the right thing to do as we were not disappointed. The villa owners were honest and trustworthy (as were their managing agents) and made us feel relaxed and confident when making our reservation. As a result we enjoyed a great holiday on a beautiful Caribbean island. We shall return!!
