Great little villa but would have really liked the outer door to lock completely. Staff was great for the hotel, restaurant was very slow but good food.

A beautiful place in a beautiful place! This hotel is off the beaten path but worth the daily (sometimes more than daily) trip to get to the other places on the island. The food at the restaurant is quite good, and our only advice is to go when you are not hungry because by the time your meal arrives you will be! (code for service is an opportunity area). Highly recommend!

We really like the cottage where we stayed: spacious, comfortable, clean, opening up directly into the garden, nice separate kitchen, sunny. We were with our two teenagers so space is critical. Service was friendly, even if provided at the proverbial Caribbean pace... Also enjoy the setting next to a marina and the possibility for a light meal on a boat. The pool could be cleaner and service at breakfast, a bit faster. For those where the beach is a priority (we live in Barbados so we do not care), the hotel sits on a very small beach with muddy water and algae. There are many better beaches in Grenada.

The mosquitoes were bad. Eventhough they provide a scented oil spray to help, they were quite annoying. Other issue was the poor service at the restaurant. As far as food is concerned, no dinner on Sundays. Lunch menu good but breakfast is limited and not very good. Each place has a kitchen. I'd plan on doing some of your own cooking.

We could not have asked for a better stay. We rented a sea view villa and it was perfect. Great layout, quiet and the perfect view for a morning coffee

Beautiful secluded property. If you're looking for peace and quiet, it's the place to go.

Great place, not crowded, friendly and accommodating staff. The service could have been a little better but that was true of the entire island and not specific to the resort.

Unique location on an area of the island that is mostly residential. The Marina is nice to have and meet others. Staff was nice and helpful. We ate at the restaurant many times... fish bites and fish tacos are great! The Lightship on Friday was fun.
There are things that could have been better. The paddle boards are not the best (one is missing a plug and fills with water) some of the beach chairs on the sand were falling apart. Our kitchen has enough miss matched stuff to make dinner for two... but barely. You need to taxi or rent a car. We used Ryan and Larry as our taxi rides everyday and they are great.
Overall not bad and we would return if we have the chance.

Very nice relaxing place. We loved the bungalow with the private pool in the middle!
The manager was very helpful so was also the lady at the welcoming desk. Recommended place indeed!

Wonderful family stay with comfortable villa set up. Beds were great with AC and netting. Lots of mosiquitos so will need deet. There were two bedrooms and 2 great bathrooms and kitchen and living room, and outside dining table. It had a view of ocean and docks. Really wonderful laid back setting. There were some things that needed to be fixed and they responded quickly to our bringing it to their attention, though the tv and one of the toilets were not able to be fixed during our stay. Pool was getting redone while we were there and they provided us with an alternative pool. It is a lovely setting and adjacent to restaurant with good food and bar. On Friday nights there is a lighthouse historical ship that has entertainment and food and bar. There is a marina so boatpeople are part of guest population. Great place. Good people. We were so sad to leave. FYI..it is a $30 (u.s.) taxi to town one way, so plan one day tour or different beach than one at hotel. Beach at hotel is part of marina so not as clear as Anse beach or magazine beach. Still, it has great view and sandy beach at Phare Bleu.

The front desk person is the key factor her name is Reshina and the car service guy named Kevin made our trip exemplary. Great location but little too far from everything. But manageable. The restaurant should improve time management and breakfast should start at least around 6:30 am. The menu must include pancake muffins French toast.Koiprathu.john Mathew

I liked the style of the property. Its decorated very contemporary and the outside is well kept and beautifully maintained. The bedroom is spacious cool and airy. The cottages indoor/outdoor living areas are a great concept, but you have to prepared to be hot during the day, since only the bedroom have air conditioning. The bathroom being on the outside of the bedroom is also inconvenient. I also feel like some of the spaces needs to to given some attention. For instance, the windows and corners were dusty. The bathroom had a bit of a moldy smell. There were a lot of mosquitoes and bites regardless of spraying all day long. I also wished there was room service available and also not happy with the restaurant closing at 3pm on Sundays. We had to drive out to get dinner when we should have be able to eat or have drinks on the property. I also felt that housekeeping should be on a daily basis since things get messy on vacation. For instance, I had to keep calling for toiletries and towels as we took multiple showers per day. All that said, the overall atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are good. The Friday night light ship entertainment is also a great experience. If you looking for a quiet tropical environment then this is a great place to visit.

The place is beautiful! We rented a two bedroom Villa which is a real get away from traffic and stress. I can relax in the hammock all day, feel the breeze, and watch the ocean. The kids had fun kayaking too!

Quant , beautiful conclusion to our visit to Grenada!

I like the location, the secluded nature of the villa, the peacefulness of the area and the freedom to wonder.
I was a little disappointed that the property is not kept to the standard that it was a few years back, i'e the floor boards has lost the beauty of the varnish and so it now looks dull. Apart from that our stay was very relaxing. I would stay again if some decorating is carried out.

Le Phare Bleu was an amazing stay in a tropical paradise. The open air rooms provide an awesome touch nature, while the perfectly air conditioned bedroom provided the perfect night sleep. The Island Fever restaurant/bar served great meals and tropical drinks. The marina view reminded me every day that I was on a wonderful vacation. The Light Ship floating bar/restaurant/music venue was an experience that I have never experienced before.

Very friendly people
Great food Dinner only. We were there in offseason. Breakfast lunch not available.
Wish we could have spent more time. We were there only 3 nights and off property a lot with other crew members staying elsewhere before 7 day sailing trip.

Beach was not too good. Water quite murky, went to other beaches for a swim!
Chalet was amazing with own kitchen, ideal for self catering! Food was below par really
in the restaurant.

Tucked away in a small cove this boutique hotel lived up to our expectations. I have previously stayed at another more expensive boutique hotel on the island and I must say La Phare Bleu is better in quality. Having a full breakfast delivered daily is great instead of having to walk to the restaurant. We stayed in the apartments which had a nice open layout. The bed is extremely comfortable and AC was ice cold. My only two complaints were the WiFi dropped in and out a few times, and the unused beday caused us to request air freshener. This hotel is great for couples seeking a private getaway. Highly recommend it.

Lovely location with local food on a ship and great friendliness. If you want to explore the local cuisine and lovely spacious cabins, then thats the place of you to go. You dont even have to close the cabin with a key. It is just fantastic. Take a canoe or stand up paddle and explore the bay. It was an unforgettable short trip to Grenada.

Le Phare Blue is an absolutely delightful place for a romantic escape. Its set in a secluded cove, with beatuful gardens that are wonderfully maintained. The sense of space and privacy is rare to find. Owners Dieter and Janna take an active interest in ensuring the comfort of their guests. There is a small very private sandy beach with great swimming in very calm waters. The small marina attracts about twenty boats but the scene is very laid back and tranquil. Highly recommended for couples who want peace and quiet.

4 star rating. Very good experience, nice appointed villas, well laid out so as not to be in your neighbours space

Le Phare Bleu is essentially a Marina resort but has a number of lovely villas set in beautiful garden with a small private beach. Our villa on beachfront with lovely views. Get to mix with yachters and local ex pats. Staff friendly. Our last weekend was Regatta week so we attended Dingy concert on water which was fantastic. Locals very friendly Grenada well worth a visit.
