About this apartment rental
Nestled in an idyllic garden, just meters away from the Lapad waterfront, is this gem of a property which dates back to the 17th century.
Free parking.
An elevated private courtyard leads to the completely private garden.
Like a tropical oasis of calm.Courtyard entrance leads to nearly 700m2 of garden space bursting with vibrant flowers, aromatic citrus trees, and a canopy of kiwi vines that provide welcome shade over the dining table.
The large sea-view terrace is a great spot for sun lounging, and can even be a venue for a wedding ceremony, as there is a small adjoining private chapel (also dating back to the 1600s). The garden is remarkably quiet and peaceful - your own private Eden.
A thorough renovation has since brought modern conveniences and style, but thankfully, and wonderfully, the rich history is still reflected in much of the décor.
Apartment house Dvori offers a generous 100m2 of interior space, the highlight of which is the living room whose antique furnishings and high ceilings inspire the feeling of grandeur of centuries’ past. There is also a well-equipped eat-in kitchen, a hallway bathroom with Jacuzzi tub & handheld shower, a bedroom with 2 single beds (can be combined), and a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and private sea-view terrace.
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room, air conditioning in every room, central heating, flat-panel satellite TV, DVD player, free WiFi, sofabed that can sleep 2, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, iron/ironing board, baby cot and baby high chair on request, barbecue, welcome packet (including coffee, tea, homemade jam and brandy), private parking.
It is centrally located right on the harbor between the Hotel Lapad and Hotel Kazbek next to new Dubrovnik marina.
Several restaurants, cafes, and a mini market are within short and easy walking distance.
Right across the street there is a bus stop to/from Old Town, as well as a taxi boat that for 7 kuna will take you across the harbor to the Gruz greenmarket, the ferry terminal, or main bus station.
Apartment house Dvori is the perfect blend of modern comforts and vintage appeal.
With its central location and ample outdoor space, it is an ideal choice for guests looking for an idyllic and convenient holiday getaway.
We are offering also a van airport transfer service.

This property is by the harbor in a lovely neighborhood close to good restaurants and trails to the beach. Uber was readily available for trips to old town. Capping off our wonderful experience was our gracious host who was full of recommendations and knowledge of the area.

Lapad apartment
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Lidia was a very welcoming host and made us feel at home. She was helpful and informative. The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city and everything was very accessible from Lapad.

Mara was very good.
All as expected although the online photos are a little misleading - probably taken a few years ago when the garden was a little less tired - where is the pond? But overall pretty good.

A lovely apartment in this historic house. Perfect location - close enough to the old city but with lovely quiet gardens. Also a private balcony for sun bathing after a days sightseeing . Great restaurants nearby
including Orsan where Mara got us a a great table by the water! Mara was very welcoming and helpful - we were met with home made limoncello and she gave us some great home made marmalade. As Mara lives downstairs she was always available for any queries and advice. Explore the local area of Lapad as there are some lovely quieter swimming spots around the headland (with views of the Dubrovnik Bridge) - there is also the bay at Sunset beach with lots of facilities (but more people) local buses are frequent, reliable and cheap - but the Uber service in Dubrovnik is amazing! Thanks Mara for being a great host!

The property was fascinating given its age but the owner made us very uncomfortable as she actually came into the apartment unannounced & began turning off lights that I just turned on. The second night there we were so worried she would come in unannounced that we barely slept. Needless to say we left two days earlier than planned.

Great location!
Lidia and Mara (on-site) were great to work with from airport pickup to restaurant reservations. Mara greeted us with her homemade lemoncello and her homemade marmalade. Very nice terrace of master and garden area. We would stay here again. Five minute walk to little grocery store for breakfast basics. Ate all our dinners nearby Peppers, Orsan, Pantanul and Taverna Osso(sp?). All good best cocktails at Peppers.all within 15 minutes walk of not closer. Always went to the Hotel Lapad for pickup and drop off for Uber. Two minutes walk to there. Enjoy your time in Dubrovnik!

We were 3 guests celebrating our birthdays and were greeted warmly with homemade lemincello and great advice for our 3-day stay. The home is lovely (about 400 years old, nicely renovated), clean and comfortable with a beautiful garden (though flowers were no longer blooming during our late October stay), and 2 patio areas for enjoying wine and fresh air together in the evenings. Getting to old town was very easy via bus, and several lovely restaurants and Sunset Beach are all within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay, would stay again, and recommend it to others.

Clean and darling!
This was a fabulous place to stay while in Dubrovnik. The host was so accommodating and helpful. It was a great place for 2 people, but could easily fit a family. Being 400 years old, it has the history you want while having all the modern amenities. It was a short bus ride to the old city and close to the harbor where we caught our boat for the rest of our Croatian tour. Thanks so much!

Great property! Greater host!!
What a wonderful property. Very comfortable accommodations, lovely gardens, very historic, quiet, within walking distance to several great restaurants, easy Uber/taxi access to Old Town but best of all was Mara our host. She made the stay five stars. She catered to us the whole time during our stay, from helpful hints on things to do, providing us with homemade marmalade, confirming transportation, and just treating us as part of the family. Everything you could ask for in a property is here.

Avkopplande boende, bra läge för både strand och gamla stan.
Fin lägenhet i lugn miljö.

After spending almost an hour driving throughout the Dubrovnik waterfront, we finally found the right address. We were staying in a 400 year old rectory. Mara’s family owned the church and property prior to WW2 and the property was returned after the fall of Tito. We stayed in a clean, charming and fully renovated two bdrm, two bath unit. There was a large livingroom where we gathered in the evening. This is far from the sterile hotels most Americans are used to. The owner was very helpful and enjoyable to visit. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our two month holiday.

Great property, location and owner.
Superb location for all the bars, restaurants and shops of Lapad, as well as really easy access to the old town via the bus every ten minutes or so and only five minutes from the property. Beaches also in short walking distance. Property itself is charming and full of character, and the garden and patio areas perfect for quiet relaxation. The owner is also an absolute sweetheart who was always so willing to help with anything. Private parking too. Can't praise the villa enough. It was superb.
