Good location
Very small and terrible room. Should not allow such rooms in a 4 star graded facility.

Lovely B&B, very close to the cathedral. It was perfect for our two day’s stay. Enough parking spaces.
4.3
Beautiful house with beautiful surrounding garden. 10 min walk to centre of Bath a cross bridge with lovely views over the Avon. On site parking.
Nothing springs to mind

We had a great stay at Pulteney House. The owners made us very welcome. Our room and bed were very comfortable; the breakfasts were splendid and served with a smile.
The hotel is located just 10 minutes walk from the Minster and city centre (at a steady pace). There was plenty of parking available at the hotel, so we just parked up there for our three day stay.
For real ale try the Green Tree and the Salamander pubs. They are fantastic.
We had a pub meal at the Salamander. We also had a great meal at Bill’s restaurant, right next to the Minister. Remember to book your table, it’s very popular.
We could not fault our stay 😊

This place has huge potential. It is extremely well located and the car parking is a bonus. it was clean and reasonably warm as we had very cold days.
I am afraid we found the hosts rather grumpy. Firstly they called our friends who booked us to ask exactly when we were arriving as "someone had to be there to let us in" - well yes thats how hotels work!! We were travelling so could not be specific.
On our first morning there I asked for the towels to be changed as the day was very damp- when we got back mid afternoon one set had been changed but not the other. I asked if the other could be changed too and i was given a lecture about the "rules" - only towels thrown in the shower would be changed - delivered very patronisingly the implication being that we didnt look as if we knew the usual rules in hotels! In any case this was clearly nonsense as one set had been changed and they handnt been thrown in the shower. Why not just say oh i will do it right away or i will give you a set here you go.
The cold breakfast ( as they are no longer doing cooked breakfasts) was truly awful - cold solid croissants but redeemed by hot toast. It looked as if they were short of staff and we all know this is a problem everywhere which is sad but if one keeps the facility open one is obliged to be pleasant and helpful to the guests - and make the breakfast a bit nicer.

The location is perfect for visiting Bath City centre. There's lots of lovely pubs only a short walk. The hosts were the friendliest I've encountered - we were met at the door and welcomed inside, got a little tour before being left to our own. Breakfast was lovely, again very attentive and nothing was too much, hosts always happy to help, chat and recommend places to go. Would recommend this hotel to everyone, and definitely stay again!
If I was being picky, vegan options were limited but that really is being picky as it didn't impact me.

beautiful property, very homely and warm owners.

- The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful
- The location was perfect, very close to the center of Bath
- The room was extremely clean and cosy
- Wish there was a cooked breakfast option as opposed to only continental, but it wasn't a big deal for us

A warm welcome, help with our cases, a nice room and as for the dining room and lounge - they were exceptional. Beautifully furnished with comfortable chairs. We had a good breakfast before we left yesterday.
Proximity to the railway line. I wasn't sure in the end whether the trains were as noisy as my husband's snoring! We are used to planes here and where we used to live in High Wycombe but the same railway line is a couple of miles away from us here.

The accommodation was only 10 minutes walk from Bath Abbey. Although the room was small it had everything needed and was in a good state. The breakfasts were good. There was ample space for on site parking.
Everything was ok
