The room & bathroom was beautifully decorated, warm and super comfortable. Large bathroom with hot power shower. Breakfast was amazing and evening meal great too. Lots of on-site parking with friendly staff. Definitely recommend

Great hotel and lovely staff! Spacious family room.
Bathroom was a bit tired, but it was clean and fine. We didn’t like that the hotel has the same name as another which is also in Wrexham and also on the high street! We went to the other hotel first (15 min away) which was our mistake (!), but it might be a good idea to adjust the name slightly as this hotel is infinitely nicer!

Too many children running up and down in the corridor and making noises till 11pm.

* Nice little hotel with a pub on the ground floor
* Good breakfast (very thin coffee though)
* On checkin, the receptionist said the pub served food all night - but when we came back one hour later, the kitchen was closed.

Very attractive period hotel, with parking, in attractive area of town. Beautiful décor and nice ambience throughout.
Bath - ideal after a hard day's walking. Good breakfast.
Not enough seating in bar area (couldn't sit down on a Monday evening).
Dinner and overall service didn't quite meet the standard you might expect from the ambience of the hotel.

A delightful property with heaps of original character. I had a premium room with its own courtyard. The room was very large with a large bathroom. The furniture and fittings were tasteful and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff couldn't have done more to make my stay comfortable.

Friendly staff and pleasant room with a large bathroom.
Good breakfast.
Excellent value for money.
There was a bit of road noise but nothing too much.

Breakfast - large choice of both continental and cooked food. Large room with small private outside seating area.
Nothing too much trouble for Demi who looked after us and helped make our stay very enjoyable.
Whilst evening meals were very good, if we'd been staying for a whole week, we'd have preferred a greater choice of meals - but watch out for Crazy Burger Night as they are delicious and very filling.

Location and nice rooms
4.0 / 5.0
Staff good. Location good. Dinner very good. Breakfasts Excellent. Atmosphere overall very good.
Room some issues, minor but irritating. Room lighting poor. Tea and Coffee insufficient and milk system weak.
4.0 / 5.0
Super comfy bed. Large room. Friendly staff. Very clean.
No relaxing seating in the room and TV not placed convenient to watch. Chef overcooked or kept things in warmer too long reducing food to average quality.
