Will definitely be back as our stay was amazing and host, Paula, was great.

Location was great. House was clean and neat. Paula , the host, was very accommodating.

Jacuzzi was not working.

More basic than we expected

We were a family of 7 adults staying for a two-night weekend. Communication from the host was excellent throughout. The chocolates and wine we received on arrival was a really nice gesture and much appreciated. The location of the house next to the freeway is also quite nice, although admittedly you really do not see much of the river from the house itself.

They currently appear to be in the midst of some repairs/renovations at this property and many of the bedrooms had a very distinct paint odour. The house is also quite sparsely furnished. The furniture that was available was either somewhat weathered in appearance or cheap plastic and not what is shown in the photos on booking.com. For a house of this size it also needs more coffee mugs and glasses. The braai facilities outside could do with improvement.

Beautiful house right on the fairway of the 17th hole. Checkin in seamless and Polla was quick to reply to any questions on Whatsapp. We went as 2 families, 4 adults and 3 kids in today and there was plenty of room. Lovely patio, pool and braai and comfy spacious bedrooms.

2nd time spending a weekend at 142, that means i like it,except that the house next door has been occupied/ bought and that nearly spoiled our outing.. The owners complained that we making noise.. What di do you expect, 8 ladies having fun. Then loadshedding,,, 🤑🙄🥵

1st time when i visited the place, the house next door was an AirB&B.. 2nd time and hopefully last time the house has been bought and there were restrictions, noise pollution, like really. I wish i was notified beforehand.

Will not booked this again in future.

Location was good,

The swimming pool did not work, the jazzuci did not work. We had cockroaches running around in the kitchen, To Pay R9000.00 is outrageous. The whole house was leaking when it rains and no water running when loadshedding

Superb

View was amazing, rooms were spacious and all of them had on suite bathrooms except for the kids room. Host communicated well and we had a great time.

Nothing, could just do with a proper outside braaier but that is just nit picking.

House with beautiful view on golf course near Vaal river

The house is very spacious and beautiful. We we're a family of 8( 3 couples) and everyone had their own private bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed. This is a very nice place to stay.

The jacuzzi didn't heat up adequately although it was turned on for more than 4 hours, but it was cold and rainy out most of the time, which could be the reason.

The place is beautiful n we never had a problem of anything just our neighbor was so rude to us, he was always outside trying to find a small thing from us to report. The security visited us 3 times on Friday. But other than that we enjoyed our time there. The view at back woow😍❤️. The walk we take now n then yes 142 was our perfect stay. Gas stove for our cooking jooo massive things.

Broken items that was not removed before we arrived, that part I did not like it at all because some of the items we realized later that they are not in good condition.

We had to pay a R1000 deposit. It is now 2 months later and even thought I have been reminding the host on numerous occasions, this deposit has not been paid back to me.

Luxury! A true treat!

Such a gorgeous home! A dream home. All rooms are very spacious! Polla is very accommodating, answering all queries so promptly. We felt very welcome and loved all the amenities!

It was not easy to access the pool and jacuzzi.

I would definitely visit again! Such a peaceful stay overall

Polla was a lovely host and very responsive. The house was as nice in person as it was in the pictures and the estate was very beautiful and easy access to the town

There were some glitches at the start I.e. gas fireplace wasn’t working properly and the jacuzzi was not filling up at first but Polla attended to the issue immediately. The only thing I could not live with were the lukewarm showers in the rooms outside the main bedroom, I like my showers HOT!

Exceptional destination

The property was located in the ideal spot on the golf course, you can see the river from the house. The house was extremely clean on arrival and has everything you need for a weekend away. Polla kept us updated on loadshedding schedules and made sure we have everything we needed.

Very good

Host was very accommodating and helpfull and arranged for water during the electricity crises in Parys. House is comfortable and catered to all our needs. Extras like an Expresso Machine adds a nice touch.

Golf Estate has an sewerage smell hanging in the air . Might be the river nearby but it is not pleasant.

exquisite!!

The house is soo beautiful, situated right next to the golf area which made our pictures all great. they provided everything that we needed and they were just a phone call away for every need and question we had, we simply loved it! just a suggestion to put proper mirrors on all the other rooms and not just those small bathroom mirrors, and that will make things complete!

I had a fun-filled, peaceful and relaxing weekend. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

The host is incredibly helpful and friendly. Any questions I had, she was ready to answer without hesitation. The house itself was very welcoming and comfortable with complementary wine, chocolates and wifi. I arrived with a total of 8 guests and there was still enough space for all of us without the house seeming like its over crowded. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The wifi does not reach the outside near the swimming pool. On the pictures I saw a swing set but when I got there, to my surprise, there wasn't. I was disappointed as there was a toddler in my group who would've loved to ride.

The house is located in a beautiful and secure estate. The security personnel were very welcoming. It is a wonderful home.

The pool cover was difficult to handle.

The wifi wasn't working. It only connected for a few hours then stopped working. The pots in the kitchen are very limited please consider adding.
