Very nice cottage

Lovely cottage, nicely fitted-out. Good off-road position but handy for local amenities. Cycle hire on the doorstep and an off-road track starts there.

Signage could be better and not clear where to park outside cottage.

Wonderful cottage, so homely and the owners had thought of everything! Comfortable beds and sofa, fab shower and just generally a lovely place to spend a few days

Exceptional

Great location for walking, cycling, and visiting Alton Towers. Cottage had everything we needed, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful. The children really enjoyed seeing the farm animals onsite.

beautiful place lovely hosts and easily accessible to Alton Towers

easy distance to Alton Towers this is the second time we have stayed here and will defiantly go again, the cottage has everything you need to be self-catering if you wanted or has menus and details of takeaways/eating out

A gem tucked away off the main road.

Beautifully furnished cottage with more facilities than expected including dish washer, coffee machine, etc. absolutely spotless, hosts were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Great location, about 10mins drive from Alton Towers. Will definitely visit again!

Weekend stay for nearby wedding

Fabulous amenities, plenty of space & the most comfortable bed, duvet and pillows. Very close to Whiston Hall Hotel where we were attending a wedding

One of the bedrooms has a velux window without blind which let the light in and disturbed one of our party

Excellent property and superb for staying over before going to Alton Towers. We were very impressed with the cleanses of

we rented this property for 2 nights as we were visiting Alton towers and wanted something close by, waterside cottages met our expectations as it was only 7-8 miles away. it was an additional bonus as the cottage was very cosy and comfortable for my family of 5.

The only issue we had was the bedrooms upstairs were pretty hot but that was cause of the heatwave we encountered, however there were plenty of fans available.

As relaxed as a couple with 3 kids can be - friendly and homely (except much more tidy :) )

Great short break away, would definitely stay again

The property was very cleanly and tidy. it was in a nice quiet area and the host was very accommodating, he even showed us all the animals on the property!

boiler can be a bit iffy but the hosts sort it straight away. it never impacts our stay

Exceptional

Bluebell Cottage is an exceptionally clean, warm compact and well equipped holiday cottage. Perfect for two. The decor and furnishings are of a very high quality and beautifully matched. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a lovely warm (feather) duvet and plump feather pillows. The kitchen was one of the best self catering cottage kitchens we have had, in terms of quality cooking utensils and equipment provided. The owners were really helpful and friendly. We were offered freshly laid eggs from the farm, and met Larry the three day old lamb. Such a delight. Great location for gorgeous walks and cycle rides straight from the door. Cycle hire on the farm if you haven't brought your own bikes. The owners were kind enough to let us store, and charge, our bikes in their lock up. Local shop and pub within walking distance.
