We loved the coziness of the cabin. Not being familiar with BBL, we probably would have preferred to stay closer to the downtown area so we could walk to meals, etc. Two suggestions: ice cube trays and you might consider replacing the bed with a sofa bed so 2 people can comfortably watch the TV where it is currently mounted and there would be more walk-around room. It is also a little uncomfortable to watch tv in bed. Also, the battery needs to be changed in the clock. Does the lady
door actually live there year-round?

It is in fact a small studio. It was well stocked with utensils, dishes and some extras. The only issue I had was that the bed was really firm so I had a bit of trouble with sleeping but the entirety of my stay was perfect!

It’s a bit cold inside. Need to use all resources to stay warm. Could use a deep clean. Had issues with appliance and other safety issues they need to address. All in all I would stay again

Just like the pictures, nothing fancy but does the job. No A/C only fans which I’m sure is based on this being a mainly winter destination. It never got “hot” in the house. Hot water available, knob is backwards. Cold is hot and hot is cold on the knob. Not bad for a cheap stay!

Great place to enjoy quiet, cool and crisp mornings surrounded by nature. We journeyed up here for the Kodiak Ultra Marathon series which takes place right downtown, just a short drive from this lovely tiny home. We brought our dog and walked him around the marina and the quiet streets enjoying the calm. The unit had fans which helped keep it cooler during the day, the kitchen was well stocked so we could cook our pre-race meals and the bed was super comfy.
We would certainly rent again here.

The staff was great and the property was very clean and perfectly stocked. It was our anniversary and they had sparking cider, chocolate, and a signed card. Very thoughtful!

Spring vacation stay
Quick and easy check in/check out. Cabin was equipped with all tools needed for our stay: dishes and utensils, pots and pans, soap, paper towels, etc. It was nice to know that they also were able to deliver additional supplies (including food) if needed.
The location was quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind from the busy city life.

Clean and quiet
The cabin was tiny, but very clean and as described. The neighborhood was great for taking walks with our dog. It was very quiet there and even though the cabin was small, it was comfortable and cozy. The office was supposed to text us when the room was ready on check in day, they said it would be by 4 at the latest, but they never texted so I called them at 4:30 and they said it was ready - so that was a little annoying but not a big deal in the big scheme of things. Overall very enjoyable experience, would recommend.

Great Service
The cabin was exactly as expected - the service was fantastic. Staff were available by text and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Needed a hand with hot water heater and someone was out very quickly. Very convenient

Quick get away!
Check in and check out process is excellent!
Refrigerator door handle was missing but usable, freezer Door handle broken and a bit of a safety issue but usable. Property description is spot on and nice. No rice cooker as described so made rice on the stove old fashioned way. The walk to the lake was perfect. Just note that you should not jump in the lake here. Overall great experience with property, staff and everyone in the neighborhood.

Cute and perfect for a short trip!
Very cute cabin with all your basic necessities. There's no closet space but we were able to manage since we were just there for a short trip. When we ran into a few issues with the internet they were very responsive and fixed it in less than 30 minutes! We definitely enjoyed the cabin and would consider renting it again!

Cute cabin
We had a rough traveling experience when big bear got 4 feet of snow. The tip was suppose to be be 2 1/2 hours and ended up being a 12 hour drive for us. We didn’t get to see much of big bear as everything was basically closed due to the snow. I gave a 4 with the communication because it was very frustrating that because there was one way into big bear open due to the weather they wouldn’t Let us move our stay to another date, this one way added on 8 hours to our drive. Also when we got to the cabin we had to keep the door open to air out the smell of the cabin, It wasn’t dirty but it did smell bad. Other then these inconvenience it wasn’t a bad stay! We wish Could have chosen a different weekend to go up there due to the weather so we could actually enjoy our stay and not spend the whole trip driving and actually had places open to enjoy.

Great stay
I really enjoyed my stay at this property, the location was prime!! 1 minute walk to the marina and a really quiet neighborhood. The cabin was in great shape, some subtle differences from the pictures, but nonetheless I really enjoyed my stay!

Ok
The cabin was easy to find and the staff was very friendly. The lockbox was easy to use and there was a space big enough for us to park. We really enjoyed coming home and snuggling up and watching Netflix (thanks!) A few things that was really annoying was that we noticed the next day that our bedsheets had blood stains on them ... really gross. So I messaged the staff and they wanted me to go drive to their office in the snow and pick up new sheets. I remember reading that room service was available? Luckily, we brought extra blankets. Also I don’t mind throwing my trash away at all, but it sucks that we had to drive out to the dumpster and throw it out ourselves. Just make sure you bring extra blankets just in case! Towels, tiny bottles of shampoo and kitchen stuff were available which was great.

This was a Great place to stay for my fiancé and I for our weekend in Big Bear. We spent the time snowboarding and hanging out in the village, taking morning walks to the lake. Perfect cabin with all the basics but parking was a little difficult.
