We were two families with five children/teens between us and stayed at Villa Aspro for a week. We had a brilliant time and couldn't have been happier with the location and facilities the villa offered. Our group particularly loved the pool and outside space which I think was the best of any villa we have rented! We needed a car to explore the area and found the best beaches were the smaller rocky coves and bays to the east of Skala. Local restaurants were all great but we also enjoyed eating in as the villa was well equipped with a spacious kitchen and beautiful outside dining spaces.

Lovely stay in a fabulous villa. The outside areas and pool are particularly special. The host was responsive when we needed anything.
A car is useful if you are staying here 😊
Overall a great holiday in a lovely property 😊

Superb villa, with a great view.
We had ten of us (three generations) there for a week 2nd to 9th August, and were sorry to leave.
The villa is well looked after. The pool guy/gardener came twice and the villa was cleaned in the middle of our stay, with clean towels.
We ate outside pretty much all the time, and the main outside dining area has a sink, fridge and BBQ close by.
The pool was well used by all of our party, especially the kids.
We had three evening meals out, at Paspalis, Baracca and Old Times - all good, especially Old Times. In spite of the villa being a bit of a climb up from the coast road, several of our party walked home after dinner at each of those, the rest in taxis at 10 or 12 Euros.
The water supply pump tripped at one point but was soon sorted. Apart from that, it is hard to think of anything negative to say about the villa.

Property was very nice, plenty of space for us with two families with five 16-19year old teenagers.
Pool was great especially as it was very hot. Air conditioning through the house was great and the view over the bay was spectacular.
Definitely need a car as too far to walk into Skala itself, so that was the only real downside: that the teenagers evening entertainment was curtailed by the adults!
We had an issue with the water but the owner was available by phone as was the manager and all fixed promptly. No umbrella’s by the pool which would have been welcomed as so hot, but when the wind picked up we could understand why this was!
Loads of outdoor space which was well maintained and we enjoyed the goats mingling around the villa each early evening! We had a late flight home and the owner very kindly extended our checkout time for which we were very grateful.
Good experience and lovely holiday. Thank you 😊

Me and a group of 9 friends stayed at the Villa for a week in early September. We had a fantastic time there, and the villa was perfect - the beautiful outdoor spaces meant we were only indoors to prep and sleep, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Karon and the property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful & the location of the villa was fantastic for both privacy and easily getting to and from all the wonderful bars and restaurants in Skala. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury villa in Kefalonia!

We had the loveliest week in this villa. It is an amazing villa with a gorgeous view! The whole stay was 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone. Michelle was super helpful with everything we needed. The town is lovely and not too overcrowded. The beach is amazing with crystal blue waters! Could not fault it at all!
We will be back next year I’m sure.

We went as a big family group to Kefalonia and were pleasantly surprised when arriving at the Villa. It has plenty of space, bedrooms split over 3 floors, a lovely shaded outdoor seating area and the pool was just perfect. It’s very secluded and the view was beautiful. The pool has a wide shallow area before the steps into the deeper area which was perfect for my daughter (2 1/2 years old). We couldn’t get her out of it!
The Villa is up a very steep hill, so I would highly recommend a car, but it’s only a few minutes drive from the main centre of Skala. There’s also a bakery just at the bottom of the hill so is a nice morning walk to get some pastries for those brave enough to tackle the hill back up.
Karen and Michelle (manager) were brilliant and helped answers all my questions before we arrived and during our stay.
Fantastic holiday, would highly recommend!

Great house and beautiful lit pool, with stunning a view of the sea. The house is a good size for everyone, plenty of room and a wonderful outside dining area with Bluetooth speakers for long suppers in the evening.
Lots of stairs and so not advisable for young children or infirm.
Good walk into the local town, with lots of restaurants and bars. We found a wonderful beach bar call Ammos. Lovely food and service and not too far along the beach from the villa.
Well worth hiring a boat to visit local bays for swimming.

Sunshine and Views
Excellent location for a visit to Kefalonia. Accomodation was perfect for our group, A/C in the rooms meant a great night's sleep.
The outdoor entertaining, cooking and dining accompanied the large pool while enjoying the view across to mainland Greece.
We cooked fish, courgettes, eggplant and Capsicum on the BBQ.
Supermarkets are a 15min walk down the hill and a 10Euro taxi back to the villa door with heavy things, all worked well.
We swam in the Med then ate a late lunch on the terrace at Hotel Paspalis. The kids then used the hotel pool alongside to refresh.
5-7pm Happy hour for the parents and Icecream for the kids.
We booked our Greek airport transfers thru cheap-taxis.com and this all worked out perfectly.
A great stay.

Last minute corona getaway
The villa is lovely, especially the location to Skala and the view from the outside of the property is exceptional. It's well managed, maintained and the pool area is just amazing!
We had a party of all ages and even with the villa being split across three floors it wasn't an issue for the 2's and unders.
It might be down to Covid but the villa could do with a spring clean (mainly doors and walls in bedroom areas were less clean than I would have liked). The bathrooms being modernised would make this a perfect villa.

Lovely family holiday
We had a fantastic week staying at this villa at the beginnng of July ( 2 families with 4 teenagers) The views from the villa are spectacular and the pool area is lovely. The villa itself is spacious but quite basic and not particularly clean( we had to wash most of the glasses and cutlery before we could use them) We received a towel change mid week but no cleaning or changing of bedding. We managed to walk into town on quite a few nights - so the hill even though steep is quite do able. Micheal who looks after the villa was lovely and very accommodating , he gave us some good tips about eating out and booking trips .

Stunning pool, fabulous views, Great location for Skala
Stayed here with extended family for a week in June 2017, 7 adults and three children under 10. The villa is located up a very steep hill above Skala so you do need a car to get back and forth from town. The views are absolutely fabulous and the new pool area is beautiful, the outside speakers, pergola area and outside changing are great. Inside the villa is clean and the rooms are very spacious but as with most villas in Greece, still fairly basic and missing the luxury that you get in Spain and Portugal. Would definitely recommend if you want to be within easy reach of Skala. Our only gripe with Villa Aspro is that we were travelling with two young children and the layout and outside area isn't ideal for them. The villa is split across three floors which means the kitchen and living areas are on separate floors meaning that our kids were often running in different directions. The villa also has steep marble staircases which can get very slippy and aren't ideal for young kids. Finally the infinity pool, while absolutely beautiful, has a large drop to one side which we ended up using a sun lounger to block off so the kids didn't fall over. Only points to note if you are travelling with young kids. Pool towels supplied which is great but the pool area could do with a couple of umbrellas for shade. In summary, though, this villa offers the best views and pool area we've ever experienced and booking through Karon is incredibly easy.

Just Perfect
We stayed at this stunning Villa from 29th April for one week as we were attending my nieces wedding. Villa Aspro is luxurious, spacious and breathe taking. When we arrived there was a welcome pack of essentials, water, tea, coffee, milk and even a lovely bottle of wine (thank you Karon Fackerell/Michael & Steph). The Villa was clean, tidy and very well maintained. Michael & Steph were always on hand (not that we needed them because everything was perfect). They even visited us to ask if we had any questions/complaints but there were none as this Villa is a place of tranquility and perfection. The views are absolutely stunning and I highly recommend watching the sun rise or set from one of the balconies or by the pool. Would I book again? I have already emailed the dates I would like for next year and it is on my list for my big 50 in 2019. Out of ten Villa Aspro gets an 11. Thank you Karon, Michael & Steph xxxxx

An amazing villa, great holiday
Villa Aspro is a great villa with excellent facilities. Totally private grounds, well equipped and clean with a gorgeous family swimming pool. lots of space both inside and out. Around Skala there are stunning beaches, coves excellent restaurants and bars. We have stayed in Villa Aspro for 2 years now, the third already booked. clearly one of the best all round holidays we have ever had.
