About this apartment rental

A stylish architect designed and furnished studio attached to the main house but self contained and with its own separate entrance. This modern contemporary west facing space is sunny, fully double glazed and overlooks the main house garden. It has a vaulted ceiling, designer lighting, ceramic wood effect flooring with underfloor heating, Venetian blinds, electrically operated windows and blackout curtains. There is a living/dining area with a sofa bed,high spec kitchen and separate sleeping area with a shower room and toilet. The studio is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher induction hob combination oven microwave and warming drawer together with all necessary household items for a comfortable stay. There is a table and chairs outside and guests are welcome to enjoy the garden. There is space to park a car and use of bike shed is available if required.Bike hire is easy.The studio is located almost opposite Addenbrookes hospital, close to the station and is a 30 minute walk, ten minute cycle or 5 minute drive from the centre of Cambridge. Several express supermarkets and restaurants are located approximately a mile away. Bus stops are located a 5 - 7 minute walk away and the buses go approximately every 15 minutes. to the town centre. We now have electric bikes and scooters in Cambridge which are often available to pick up fairly close to the house. We also have Uber now so transport overall is very easy.

We had a fabulous few days. The studio was an easy cycle from the train station and a peaceful place to stay. Paul and Joanna were very welcoming hosts. The studio was really well equipped and set in a beautiful garden.

A lovely studio flat, well equipped and with all amenities needed as a good base. The studio in a good position for those able to walk into the city or avail of the public transport. We also drove to other areas including the American Cemetery and Saffron Walden. A very pleasant stay as the first part of our East Anglian holiday.

Paul and Joanna are the perfect hosts! This is our second stay. The apartment is wonderful, very clean, comfortable and a very short, convenient walk to the LMB and Royal Papworth/Addenbrookes hospitals. Close to bus line too making it an easy commute to Cambridge City Centre, Sights and shopping! Very highly recommend!

This was a lovely garden studio. Lovely glass windows looking out at the garden. The hosts have decorated the studio in a nice peaceful way. The bed was very comfortable. Joanna and Paul also had milk, tea, coffee, etc, available on arrival which was so welcome. The instruction book they had prepared was very useful and easy to understand. It was an easy walk to the bus stop to get into the city center. I would certainly recommend the studio.

Excellent and agreable host and hostess Paul & Joanna, in the neigbourhood when we needed them but also giving us privacy. The view from the studio at their garden was lovely. The studio is comfortable and well equiped, but very light and sometimes warm (on sunny days, even when the temperature was at most 21 degrees) because of the lack of window covering from the upper windows. The studio is centrally located to visit Cambridge as well as places of interest in the surroundings.

Our stay was not a holiday but a home while our home was taken over by builders. The garden studio was conveniently located and well equipped enabling us to live comfortably. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge for just a few days or longer term. The beautiful garden is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day and Joanne and Tony are warm and welcoming hosts.

I arrived injured, unable to walk. My stay was for 4 nights. I was restricted to the couch. My hosts allowed me to check in early. My hosts shopped for me multiple times. They checked in everyday. They provided rides on my last day to punting and the train. The lodging is stunning, calming, cozy, modern, simple. The garden takes your breath away. It is a personal place put together and designed with great care. If you are lucky to find availability, take it! .

This was our second stay in this Garden Studio. It has been beautifully designed and has all the amenities you need. Approx. 30min walk to the city centre or you can hop on a electric scooter/bike to get there quicker! The hosts are lovely and provided good instructions.

When we arrived we were met in the garden by Joanna & Paul who made us feel truly welcome. The studio was really lovely, quiet & peaceful & very well equipped. It felt more like a home than a holiday rental. Lovely views of the garden. We really loved staying there & hope to return one day. Thank you both for your hospitality.

Being set in a beautiful garden this is a very serene place to stay. There is a calm quality despite some traffic and train noise. It's no good if you like dark for sleeping though as there are no blinds on upper windows. Overall, very clean, well equipped and tastefully done.

Absolutely stunning property with beautiful decor and finishing touches throughout. Location is perfect for walks to the centre and also has a bus stop close by. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us some good tips on getting around cambridge and even had some lovely goodies left for us on arrival. Wonderful stay. Thank you Joanna and Paul .

We had a lovely 5 night stay in the Garden Studio. It was a great location for exploring Cambridge (nice walking or cycle/scooter routes into the centre) and driving around Cambridgeshire. The Studio had a well equipped kitchen and has been very well designed, with lovely views onto the garden. Would definitely stay there again.

Property was excellent for our two day trip to Cambridge and the layout was absolutely ideal. I would go back to this accommodation and I would also recommend it to family and friends. It took 25mins to walk in to city centre and we tried two different ways but we missed the brook walk in so might be best to ask owners for directions.

The little studio is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The outside garden is an oasis. All of the appliances are top notch and the kitchen is appointed with everything you need if you want to cook. Paul and Joanna could not have been more kind. A great place to visit Cambridge.

Lovely, peaceful, very high quality studio with outlook to super secluded garden. Property had everything we needed for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Great cycling into and around Grantchester, Trumpington and Cambridge. Jo and Paul were lovely hosts who made sure we had everything we needed, gave us lots of local information and made sure we had plenty of space to relax. Brilliant stay - we’ll be back :-).

We had a wonderful short break based from this delightful studio. The hosts, Joanna and Paul, were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, right down to the tealights for the lantern on our garden table! We would certainly like to return when visiting this area again.

The setting is outstanding, with a lovely view. of a large garden The apartment is a good size, with first class equipment and very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is not near the Cambridge city centre, but there is a bus stop fairly close by.

This property was exactly as described. The living space is modern, bright and airy and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The accommodation was very relaxing overlooking a beautiful garden. Communication with the owner Joanna was excellent and she was really helpful explaining everything. Lots of information available on how everything works and things to do and places to go to during the stay. We would love to return. Thank you Joanna!
