The mattress on the bed was brilliant.
Breakfast and dinner were both yummy.
Great position to explore the Peaks.

The room was a floor within one of a group of cottages attached to the pub and was well decorated with quality furnishings. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb with full English, toast, cereals, juice etc. I would highly recommend the Miners Arms, especially if you are taking a dog.
The only issue was the shower in the room which was a little temperamental!

Gorgeous little pub with lots of interesting history in a beautiful old village near to walls and sights of the a Peak District, including Chatsworth House. Breakfast was included and was lovely. Also had a great dinner there and the cosy bar is full of character.
Our room was accessed by an outside door.

Good location
Staff were flexible about room change with family member
Good value
Lovely breakfast
Room could do with something tlc, cracked window, some dust
I had a broken arm at the time which meant I was unable to share a bed with my husband as I was restless. It was agreed we would swap with my brother and his wife with triple room. Unfortunately there was some issues there as well as triple room has bath no shower, again tricky due to injury. However logistics were sorted between us,

location , young serving staff and food was fabulous.
Our room overlooked the back door and smoking area and was extremely noisy late at night with local clients.
It had a small opening window with a torn net curtain with a crack in the window.
Clients could see into the room from the fire escape which was also used as the night exit.
Didn’t like carpet in the bathroom and no shower.
