We had a wonderful time in this lovely cottage, only few minutes to the port and the coast path. It had everything we needed and everything was clean. We felt very at home here.

Had a lovely Holiday, the accommodation was immaculate and we loved Port Isaac, beautiful views, can see Doc Martin’s House from the kitchen window.

Everything was fantastic at Kylden and Caroline communicated with us very nicely. We loved that we could meet her family through a photograph and everything they shared in advance was exactly what we discovered when we arrived. Port Isaac was our main objective when visiting England because of Doc Martin and the Fishermen's Friends, and Kylden was a great addition for us. Thank you, Caroline.

We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Everything we needed, well equipped kitchen and very handy having the co-op opposite. We made the most of the restaurants and cafes in Port Isaac. Meals at the Slipway, The Old School House and The Moat were fantastic and Noah’s cafe is great for a light bite.
We also took a walk to Port Gaverne and had a drink in The Pilchard which was great.
Sadly the weather was not on our side but we managed to still visit Polzeath beach twice and Newquay (45 mins drive).
On day two we had no hot water. However the owners were extremely responsive and helpful and the issue was fixed quickly.
The only thing we feel could be improved in the property is a landline phone for guests to use to book restaurants, golf courses, activities etc and for peace of mind should you need to call 999.
Overall very good accommodation, we would definitely return.

The house was super well equipped and clean. The location was excellent, near to the port but not on top of the hustle and bustle of the tourist. The supermarket was opposite to the house, which is super convenient. The garden had all what we needed a table and chairs to relax in the sun with a good book. We could not ask for anything more! Even the weather was superb!

Highly recommend a stay at Kylden. Perfect in every way. If only I could bring home the view from the garden - could have sat there all week quite happily. Owner a breeze to deal with, everything you need at the property and perfectly situated for visiting Cornwall. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, comfortable and well-appointed cottage with a view of Doc Martin's surgery. The location was excellent, being above the old town and across from the coop. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying at Kylden, especially for a couple and/or a family of 4.

Absolutely 💯 fantastic time. The cottage was clean and looked just like the on line booking. Felt like a home away from home. The bottle of wine and chocolates were a very nice surprise. Would definitely come back and stay..Sherry and Dave Chandler...ONT. CANADA

This property is exceptional. The property itself is extremely well placed, right opposite the local Co-Op shop and very near the heart of Port Isaac. Being placed on New Road the drive to the property is so easy, no having to manoeuvre through the very narrow streets avoiding the pedestrians, and very easy when leaving Port Isaac for your various trips out.
The property is extremely well kitted out will any appliances that may be needed for your stay, It it spacious and very comfortable. The contact from the owners is extremely good. I would definitely recommend thes property to anybody looking for a stay in Port Isaac.

Little Gem!
We made a last minute decision to spend a week in Cornwall with our 16 month old son. At the time of booking, our accommodation options were limited but honestly, this property is a little gem and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Yes it is a little tired around the edges but it was very clean and we felt comfortable straight away. A real home from home.
The owners were extremely responsive and provided a high chair and travel cot.
Port Isaac is a pretty little village and this property is well positioned at the top of the hill with fabulous views.

This was our second stay at the ideally placed bungalow in Port Isaac where we again found home from home comforts- especially the newly replaced mattresses in the 2nd bedroom! It's nice to know that owners listen to feedback- thank you Nick and Caroline.

Perfect location and property
Beautiful accommodation fantastic view of Doc Martins house! Co-op opposite which became invaluable as unfortunately of the 8 weeks we stayed Port Isaac was closed for 3 weeks. Did not ruin our holiday as lots of place to visit within easy reach of Port Isaac

Good property to stay at. Parking on the very steep drive was a concern as was just walking up and down the drive.
Could have done with more crockery and only 2 wine glasses wasn’t ideal..
Handy for the Co op opposite. Good views from the back garden especially over to Dr. Martin’s house.

Perfect location for our Cornish holiday
This property provided the perfect location for walking into Port Isaac, hiking along the coast path and exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. The view across the valley was stunning.
The property was extremely clean and everything was very straightforward. The Coop over the road was extremely convenient!
The king size bed was very comfortable, but the twin beds were not so great for our adult children who joined us. Once we had negotiated the steep drive once it wasn’t a problem.

Excellent property in great location
We had a great time despite visiting during the pandemic. There was a robust set of precautions in place in response and everything else about the property was excellent. We love walking so the fact it’s about 250 yards from the South West Coastpath was a real plus.
