About this villa rental
The Location: Siren's Song is located within an exclusive 400+ acre development, The Preserve at Botany Bay and a security gate. Siren’s Song itself has a modern security system and is perched on its 5+ acre gated lot of cliff top land, with almost a half mile of water front.
A 5 min stroll takes you to the beach at Mermaids Chair, a sand bar that separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Caribbean Sea and connects St Thomas to a small island to the West, called Little St Thomas, owned by the Nature Conservancy.
The beaches of sand, shells, corals and pebbles are constantly changing with the winds and the tides. Just off shore the unspoiled coral reefs are alive with a multitude of live hard and soft corals and many different species of tropical fish.
The living area, dining area, five bedrooms and outdoor terrace have balconies with stunning 250+ degree sea views of uninhabited islands. On a clear day you can see St Croix to the South and Puerto Rico to the West. If you yearn for peace, serenity and tranquility away from crowds and traffic, and want an unforgettable island experience that few have been privileged to share, then Siren's Song will enchant you, yet its only a 20 min drive to downtown, abundant with activities and world class restaurants.
The House – Main Level: A terra-cotta replica Chinese emperor welcomes you into Siren's Song. As you enter, a cozy sitting area with six cushioned chairs and steps leading down to the pool level below. To your right is the gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area, with alfresco dining on the terrace beyond. The terrace has a gas grill, a dining table that seats six, a bistro table that seats four and a couch that seats up to six for your enjoyment. Three sun umbrellas for shade. The dining area has a 12 ft dining table with 12 matching dining chairs. To your left is a powder room, the living area with two comfy white sofas and media centers. Further to the left an archway leads to 3 air conditioned bedrooms ( 2 king and 1 bunkbed) and 2 bathrooms. The king bedroom with forest views has a separate outdoor entrance. The main level has Italian ceramic tiles on the floors, with scattered rugs and natural wood ceilings. Furnishings are largely mahogany.
The House – Upper Level: Siren’s Song’s upper level, accessed by a stylishly curved staircase from the main level has 5 air conditioned bedrooms, four bedrooms with a 4 poster, king size bed and en-suite bath, and its own private balcony with sea and island views. The fifth bedroom has a beautiful bunk bed. Full on bottom/twin on top. Great for kids who must be near parents (no balcony or bathroom attached). A deck with chairs extends along a portion of the upper level, with forest views, swept by refreshing Caribbean trade-winds. The upper level has wooden floors and wooden cathedral ceilings. Furnishings are largely mahogany.
The House – Pool Level: Recently updated pool which overlooks the lower level gardens, Caribbean Sea and several uninhabited islands. The pool is four feet deep and has benches along the sides for sitting. The pool is surrounded by a beautiful new patio and an outdoor shower.
The Beach - a five minute stroll from Siren's Song is the beach at Mermaids Chair from which you can take a short hike across Little St Thomas to natural boulder rock pools washed by the sea. For the more adventurous a mile hike will take you to another beach within The Preserve at Botany Bay, called Sandy Bay. Mermaids Chair, Little St Thomas and Sandy Bay are generally deserted and you will probably be the only people there. Spend your sun spangled days snorkeling, shelling, beachcombing, fishing, hiking, picnicking and luxuriating in the natural boulder pools.
Sirens Song has four security cameras on the exterior of the property. Driveway, front entrance, patio/walkway and the pool/lower property.

We had the most amazing stay for our family vacation! Beaches were close, beautiful and private… house had everything we needed and more! The property manager was extremely helpful and made sure everything was just as it should be. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had a fantastic time at this villa. My husband and I booked it for our friends for a long weekend for our wedding. The house was perfect for our 14 guests. The views from the house were gorgeous. We loved relaxing by the pool and the patios.
Walking down to the beach is definitely a steep incline to go up and down, but well worth it! The beach was incredible and a beautiful place to hang out with my guests.
The host met me at the house for check in. It sounds like they’ve had ppl stay in the house that may not have been respectful or did reckless things because there were a lot of rules. I also wanted to have 5 of my friends over for the day so I asked the host when he met me on the first day and he said to text him to ask, but he never got back to me. They are definitely strict about having any additional guests. I did have my hair/makeup stylist and the mother of the groom and bride get ready at the house with no issues, but I had confirmed this before booking.
I thought I’d be easier to get taxis. The Villa is in a gated community so we did have some difficultly calling taxis. Most of the taxis were not happy about dropping us off there or would not pick us up. You may have to go to the front gate to get a taxi and it can take 45 min. You definitely need a car to get to/from the property and if you want a taxi, plan ahead.
Overall, it’s a great space for friends and family to gather and relax.

We had an awesome vacation with 13 friends and family during our 1-week stay at Siren's Song. A special thanks to the property manager (Brent) and the owner (Sarah) for taking the time to help us get to the property and ensuring our every need was met. The property overlooks the Mermaids Chair where the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet. Another lesser known beach (Sandy Bay) is nearby and you feel as if you're the only people in the world while there.
The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. We highly recommend this villa for your next stay in the USVI.
Thanks again Brent and Sarah!

The home is gorgeous and the views and sunsets are nothing short of spectacular! Everything has been thought through to ensure a wonderful, relaxing holiday experience! The furnishings are lovely, the kitchen is very well outfitted, and the property is very well maintained.
The beaches are beautiful— and very quiet and private, especially Sandy Bay. The steep terrain can make getting to them a bit challenging for older guests like me, but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed with a car!
Indeed, guests really do need to rent at least one car. The Villa is on the west end of the island and rather remote — Charlotte Amalie is 20 minutes or so away by car and many of the restaurants are even further — and the roads are very steep and curvy.
There are plenty of things to do on the island and on St John, which is just a short ferry ride away. We all had a wonderful time being together, and we really hated to leave.
Pre-arrival information was a bit slow to arrive, but once it did everything worked like clockwork. When we did have a need to contact the property manager, their response was very efficient and professional.
We would all like to return to Siren’s Song and I recommend it to you unreservedly!

12 friends, one net, two balls. We had a blast!! Set the net up on Mermaid’s Chair. Sandy Bay way too narrow but fabulous body surfing there. House was gorgeous.

Wonderful property walking distance (short walk) to Mermaid’s chair and Sandy beach. Awesome views! Has all amenities and lots of room. Even had high chair and pack and play for my nephew. Beautiful property in a lush, quiet part of town. Property manager was very helpful and accessible.

Nice villa
We enjoyed our stay. Clean, well kept and appointed. Comfortable mattresses. Host was responsive to our maintenance issue which was promptly resolved. Nice kitchen. Large clean pool. Concierge was helpful. Gaded community was nice and secluded so beaches were not crowded.
Suggested improvements would include: heavy curtains to keep room dark because when that Caribbean sun floods your room at day break there’s no sleeping. Also, Install an Ice maker other than one in the refrigerator as it was inoperative. (We grabbed ice on each sortie.)
The A/C worked very well, allowing for s good night’s rest, but common areas are not climate controlled - only the bedrooms. There’s one modest sized TV in family room so you’ll need to watch your favorite shows on a portable device.

Reconnection established
This was the perfect site for our 3-generation family of 13 to reconnect after limited contact forced by the pandemic. Set far from the madding crowd but close enough to town to replenish supplies, the location seemed to place us in our own private world. The home is very well-appointed and configured to provide space for the whole family to gather or for a quiet space to be alone. The views are spectacular. With one beach within walking distance and another a very short drive away we couldn't ask for more.
Sarah, the owner, was very accommodating during the rental process. Lauren, the concierge, was very responsive, knowlegeable, and above all, patient. We thank them very much for a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Awesome Family Vacation
Sirens Song was outstanding and relaxing. We were a party of 10 ranging in age from 26 to 88. The house had all the amenities you could ask for - the kitchen was supplied with anything you would need. All the bedrooms were well appointed. The pool was the focal point of the house and was beautiful - views of sunrise and sunset awesome. Plenty of seating, snorkeling gear and beach chairs.
Both Mermaids chair and Sandy Beach are in the preserve - very private and nice to explore - about 40 steps down to each beach after a short drive.
Nice upper deck with table and grill.
The house is about 20 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes to Red Hook.
The roads are narrow and hilly is an understatement around the whole island - left side of the road driving.
Now the concierge service - Lauren and her team were Awesome.
We had her do our grocery shopping for us and they were spot on with our detailed shopping list.
They also set up our rental cars - two Kia Sorento’s well maintained and they picked us up at the airport.
Laurens team took us from the car rental to Sirens Song - a must for the first time.
We went through Lauren to set up Island culinary ( Chef Colin ) for a Thank You brunch and a 3rd anniversary happy hour - both were done very well and the food was exceptional.
Here were a couple of things to pay attention to:
Bring bug spray, mosquitoes and no see ems feasted on a couple of us.
The chest freezer in the pool bathroom came in very handy to store bags of ice for drinks and coolers.
Two sets of laundry machines and dryers very handy.
The whole family is still talking about when we are going back - the most relaxing trip we have taken in a long time.

Amazing place!
Hands down one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed. We had an amazing time! Every detail was arranged and the owners even helped us with plans and activities while we were there! Such a great place! Great location! The beach was amazing and had the most amazing time exploring it.

50th Birthday Celebration
Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way! My top recommendation is to simply entrust in Lauren as your concierge, and you will save yourself so much time in research and planning for your stay, and most importantly... have a wonderful time!! The setting is breath taking, the villa set-up is fantastic for large parties, pool area amazing, and beaches so quiet and relaxing. This was such a unique experience and what a memory making trip for all! I have a feeling we'll be back! Thank you so much Lauren for all of your efforts and constant communication before and during our stay. With Gratitude and Gratefulness - Justin's 50th Birthday Famfriends :)

We arrived much later than planned (due to airlines we missed 11/2 days of our time) and the concierge group were beyond helpful! We had the villa stocked with provisions so it was a perfect arrival to go along with a perfect stay! GORGEOUS views, well decorated and Botany Bay is the perfect place for peace and relaxation!! Looking forward to our next stay there already!!

Once in a lifetime experience
I have been very lucky in life. Work has taken me to living in Los Angeles, Atlanta, London and Paris. Since moving to Atlanta in 2002, I have had many opportunities to travel to the Caribbean. After 3 years of no travel due to elderly dogs and the Pandemic, I decided to "blow it out" for my closest friends. Six adults in their late thirties and early forties, one "mom" in her mid sixties and one three year old.
We prepared well in advance with the owner who helped us engage a wonderful concierge that helped us setup a personal shopper so that all of our groceries, etc., were stocked in the house upon arrival.
The concierge helped us engage a private chef who made masterful dinners 5 nights during our stay. Chef and his daughter were so incredibly friendly and kind. Prior to our arrival, we designed 5 masterful dinners that came paired with a pre-dinner cocktail. We were so close by the end of the week, Chef was helping me with a medical issue due to an allergic mosquito reaction.
The concierge also introduced us to a phenomenal rental car company. They met us at the airport, helped us load the luggage and seamlessly transitioned the cars upon our departure.
Finally, we celebrated a very special birthday during our stay. An incredibly talented local baker who made one of the most beautiful carrot cakes. The only things that surpassed its beauty, were its taste and the baker's kindness.
The home is set on the Western end of the island. We watched 7 glorious sunsets from the back of the house. The views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea were breathtaking.
Our 3 year old loved the pool. She had a perfect bedroom with a set of bunk beds.
The bedrooms all had incredible views. Each morning as the sun rose, I would sit in bed just an extra thirty minutes to see how the light began to expose the ocean and nearby islands.
The house is amazingly stocked with all the modern necessities, including new appliances and technology. Being a foodie, it was important to have a well equipped kitchen.
The owners were very thoughtful as we planned our trip. On numerous occasions, I asked questions and always got a prompt response.
Choose this house and choose these service providers. A+

Waterfront Paradise
Sirens Song checks all the “Paradise vacation” boxes! Starting with the best beach on the island and ending with spectacular sunsets it will not disappoint. The water is just a short walk away and the safe gated community leaves you wanting for nothing. The property itself is bright, modern and very inviting. We found ourselves enjoying the gorgeous views and pool more than exploring the island! The home accommodates a large group but still felt homey enough for family dinners and game nights. Lauren was amazing & stayed in contact with us every step of the way. She even arranged transportation for our large group, including jeep rentals. We had a blast & cannot wait to return!

Fabulous Week at Siren's Song
Our family of 12 spent New Year's week at this amazing property. The property is everything it is advertised to be. The home is huge, the bedrooms extremely comfortable and air conditioned, with magnificent views from every window.
Lauren, the concierge helped us with every need, from wi-fi, taxis, rental cars, booking catamaran tours, massages, and of course, the food. We used Chef Elvet Carty-Connor and his food was so good and plentiful; more than we could possibly eat. Next time I might just get two meals a day instead of three. We went to Sandy Bay several times and it is basically a deserted bea h we had all to our selves. We had a great family bonding experience at Sirens Song. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous sunsets
The house is perfect for large families. There are 2 rooms with bunk beds and trundles for the children. There’s a nanny room and 5 master bedrooms. The pool is small, but enjoyable. It is a hike to the beach. Impossible with a stroller. And there is nothing nearby. No grocery stores or restaurants.

Amazing!
We arrived to the most beautiful view we've ever seen. This trip was meant to spend time in the ocean with family and it delivered tenfold! We could walk five minutes or drive two minutes to the beachfront and scuba dive and snorkel directly from the beach. The reef and wildlife we saw off the beach surpassed what we saw on our chartered dive trip.
We spent time at both Mermaid's Chair and Sandy Bay, and saw less than 10 other people during the entire week. This property is the ideal "get away from it all" vacation spot.
The house was spacious and clean, with amazing views from most bedrooms. The view from the pool was equally stunning. Kitchen was well equipped.
I must also comment on Lauren, the property manager. She was by far the most responsive and helpful property manager we have come across. Not only did she help immensely setting up our trip, but she was instantly responsive to any question we had.
Hope we can return in the future!

Family of 12 Summer Vacation
Villa is amazing. Views were great. The pool was very relaxing. Lauren Thomas was great to work with. She was supper helpful with all our vacation needs, everything from getting our food stocked to helping plan our day trips. Sandy Beach was beautiful and a great place for swimming and snorkeling.

Once in a lifetime family vacay!!!!
The rental process was very easy. We are a family of 11 (ages 73 to 6) everyone loves the water and snorkeling. One of the most comforting things was that we had until two weeks before arrival to cancel. Spending that much money a night was intimidating. We hadn’t seen each other for almost 2 years I was afraid something would come up to jeopardize trip. We came from CA, NE, MO, NC. We made amazing memories . The concierge and her team were at our beck and call at all times it seemed. Any question we texted her, she replied to quickly. I can’t say enough about the beautiful property, location, and service we received. We ate at the house at all times. We had groceries delivered to the house. That was another great service.
Thank you Siren Song owners and crew.

Did NOT want to leave!
Honestly, you can't describe this property in words and pictures just do not do it justice. The house was amazing with plenty of rooms, beautiful kitchen, and a great pool. The setup with a bathroom attached to basically every room was perfect for us. We pulled up and there were giant iguanas on the lawn and our teenage boys were sold. But, what made this place perfect was the VIEW. It's like waking up to a postcard every morning. We spent lots of time down at mermaids chair catching crabs and exploring and kayaking. We spent hours at sandy bay body surfing and playing on the beach. Although it is a bit of a drive to get to a restaurant or store, that didn't bother us at all. We loved it. Everything was perfect and we were all very sad to leave! We've stayed at lots of VRBOs but this was our favorite...by far. Thanks!!

Location, Location, Location !
We found a paradise in St. Thomas at Siren’s Song in Botany Bay Preserve. It is a beautiful home with fantastic views. This was a family vacation including my husband and I, our children and their spouses plus all of our grandkids. There were plenty of beach towels for our large group and quality beach chairs. The kitchen was well supplied. The pool was used daily and was kept clean.
We found lots of sea glass at Neltjeberg beach and had some fun making mosaic art pictures. We enjoyed the brilliant stars at night. We were awed by the magical bioluminescent water at Mermaids’s Chair when dark. We saw many rainbows from the patio. We had a marvelous week!

Siren's Song
The property was lovely, but very secluded. This was nice for privacy, but difficult because it was a minimum of 30 to 60 minutes to get anywhere for food or activities. We hired a driver, Joseph Edwards, for the 11 days we were on island and were very thankful as he knew his way around and had a van with a turbo boost engine, which was needed for the mountainous terrain. Joseph transported 12 of us to many activities, dining, shopping and airport. He made reservations for us, always showed up promptly and knew his way around. He was kind, polite, friendly and also acted as a wonderful local guide. Definitely needed a driver, as the area is very out of the way, roads are tiny, circuitous and steep. The gated Botany Bay was very secure, but we had to notify the property manager a day ahead of time to notify the gate each time our driver was coming to pick us up. The house was advertised with two laundry facilities. One was upstairs and one was downstairs by the pool, behind the bathroom full of stored items. Not convenient. The downstairs washer was functional, but rusty and old. The dryer did not work at all. We didn't know this so had to haul a load of wet laundry up two staircases to get to a dryer. NOT a place for people with mobility issues as there are lots of stairs to both laundry areas as well as to the pool. Mermaid's Chair area is absolutely gorgeous, but is steep and treacherous to get to. The walk doesn't take a long time if you're young and healthy, but coming back up the steep hills is a killer. Getting to the beach area, you have to make a steep descent then climb down 20 or 30 concrete steps, then cross a rocky area and creep around the base of a rocky hill on wet rocks while watching your footing very carefully. Our group had a dozen people, (ages 7 to 70) and everyone made it down once, but those with knee and leg issues could not do it aqain. The climb should not be done without great care. The house itself was lovely and we enjoyed it, however there was almost no phone service. There was wifi, but in our group, with 9 phones and 5 different coverage providers, only one phone worked at all and that could only send texts. We couldn't make phone calls no matter where we walked about in the house. In spite of these issues we enjoyed our stay. The building manager was responsive but did not come to do the promised walk through when we left, so hope our security deposit comes back promptly.

Amazing property
Siren's Song is a beautiful home and the location can't be beat. The check in process could not have been easier and I appreciated the responsiveness of the concierge. The ocean views from the house were georgeous and we enjoyed the privacy of the Mermaids Chair. We were even fortunate enough to see bioluminescence two nights. It was an amazing vacation. Thank you, Sarah!

Amazing Property but Comes with a Difficult Owner
The property is absolutely stunning with 180 degree views of the Atlantic and the Caribbean. The Preserve at Botany Bay is a private oasis on St. Thomas. It is remote but you will not have the need to leave the property. Both Mermaids Chair and Sandy Bay beach are paradise locations.
While we were thoroughly impressed with the property, our negative experience with the owner makes me hesitant to recommend booking this villa. Sarah, the owner, was slow to respond to inquiries; often not responding at all. As an example, She did not coordinate with the concierge so that we had to rush to have the villa provisioned the day before we arrived. In addition, It took nearly six weeks to receive our damage deposit back. This payment finally occurred only after contacting both VRBO to post a complaint and sending an e-mailing the property manager, Sean.
The property had several serious repairs needed, including a non-functioning kitchen faucet or freezer. The property clearly needs some updating as well. One expects a quality experience when you are in this price point.
I have rented villas all over the Caribbean and have never had such a negative experience with an owner. Quite an unfortunate situation for such an incredible property.

Great family vacation spot!!
Spent a week with 11 adults and 2 young children. House was spacious. View was beautiful! A/C in individual bedrooms but not in general living area. Safe area, quite remote, and with the double security gates we felt comfortable leaving screen doors and windows open. Mosquito spray came in handy. Mosquitoes were present but not oppressive. Had many family dinners at the large dining table. Mermaids chair was completely private but somewhat rocky. Sandy Beach, still in the Botany Bay complex, a 2-3 minute drive away, was the family favorite. We had the entire beach to ourselves, soft sand on the beach and quite a way out. calm water, perfect for kids. No shade and bring your own drinks and snacks. From a woman who enjoys driving a small economy car, I highly recommend you rent a 4-wheel drive. The roads were steep and winding which created beautiful views! Our whole family spent a day snorkeling, touring the island, seeing the sea turtles and dining at the floating taco boat on a private charter with Stormy Pirates. Captains Suzanna and Kenny were AWESOME! A few members of our party went scuba diving. Took a trip to Water island by ferry from Crown Bay Marina. Restaurant on the left when facing beach is Heidi’s and owned by a long time local. Service was friendly and Fish tacos were fantastic! A great vacation spot!

Beautiful House
I celebrated my 40th birthday with my husband, mom, sister and 8 of our closest friends. The house was perfect in so many ways. There isn't one complaint we could make, the grounds are private, the gated community is very nice, the views... everything was perfect! The house staff also went above and beyond! The house was decorated for me for my birthday when we arrived and all of our food provisions that we had ordered were put away!! Many memories were made!

Property and Location is Great! But things to look out for...
Overall, the villa is beautiful and the mermaid's chair is special. Nothing I say can take away from that. However, I have rented many villas in the Carribean in my time and when it came to service this one did not deliver. First, when you are renting a villa like this it is usually for a large group and if you are ever the one in charge of planning you understand it is not an easy task and usually requires you to communicate with the villas property manager or owner. I was unable to arrange any of the normal activities such as grocery delivery, chef, Massuse or any other services or questions I may have had because once I sent in my deposit and booked, it would take MONTHS to hear back. communication was so bad that come time for final payment I questioned if I was being scammed. My request for pictures of the bedrooms so i could properly charge my group according to the quality of the room they were getting, along with my possible early check-in ( i just wanted a half hour 3:30 vs 4p when last check out was 11 am), I, not my entire group wanted an opportunity to allocate rooms before the group arrived since I never got the pictures. I was given a firm NO. 4 MONTHS later!
Now for the house itself. It is no doubt beautiful. However, there were issues we encountered that I was not expecting for this level of the villa. We were told there was a backup generator in the event of power loss and it will automatically kick in. Well, there was power loss for what appeared no apparent reason. No, the backup generator did not kick in and we were fearful of our food spoiling. Thank god it was during the day so we did not have to worry about lights. 6 hours later we had electricity. But now we had no Water, means no flushing or showering. Apparently, the pump needed rebooting. They fixed it that night. Another problem the next day. Again problem solved but I did not appreciate having to manage all of this on vacation. The pool seemed mercy in the beginning and was better once the pool boy showed up and put the pump on halfway through our stay. You don't even get cleaning service once during your stay. I think for this much money a mid-week would have been nice. We didn't even know where to put the numerous bags of garbage that was accumulating outside. Oh and the AC upstairs went out for a whole day. Also seemed the property was 45 min away from most tours. if you manage your expectations the property is beautiful.

Great time
Great. Some minor issues like a shower that did not drain. When we called with other problems they responded quickly

Beautiful setting.
We loved the views from almost every room. Plenty of room for our family of 16. The house was beautifully decorated.

Siren’s Song is a great home to experience the tranquility of west St. Thomas!
Siren’s Song was a lovely place for 20 family members to enjoy the beauty of the island together. The house is open, comfortable, and extremely nice for ocean and sunset views. We loved being able to walk down to the beach and nature preserve. Sarah and company were responsive and easy to work with.
