About this cabin rental

Welcome to the Ozarks! The "Little Buffalo River" cabin (LBRC) is located 2.8 miles from down town Jasper. Its proximity to the Buffalo National River makes this the perfect place to fish, hike, climb, float, hunt and enjoy all the beauty of Newton County, AR. Jasper and Ponca have Buffalo River concessionaires that rent rafts, canoes and Kayaks. The Cabin has 2 bedrooms with one King bed and one queen bed. The large couch has four recliners with built in USB chargers. LBRC is fully furnished with linens, towels, and bedding. The kitchen has everything you need: refrigerator with ice maker, range and stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender, and coffee pot. Just bring your groceries and an adventuresome attitude. A weber gas grill is located on the back deck with a great view while grilling. LBRC features a dining room table that seats 6. For your convenience this cabin also offers satellite TV, local phone service, and high speed internet with WIFI. We also have games, movies and some books for you to enjoy a family game night or a family movie night. Also property has central Heat and AC.
NO PARTIES

We do have security cameras on site that are unplugged by the guest when you arrive. We give clear instructions on this in the welcome letter we send you.

Check out the Zip line and adventure packages, rafting and canoeing, hiking, fishing, hunting and antique shopping or enjoy some other great Newton county excursion and then come back to your cabin, snuggle in, soak in the view and sort out the day.

The cabin and views were beautiful we had a great time. Unfortunately at the end of our stay the owners were overly critical on the state we left the cabin in. There was a few crumbs on the floor and a dirty stove and we were fined 400$

This cabin is an excellent place to stay! It was spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the outside space was perfect! It has a beautiful view and my friends and I enjoyed that view each morning while drinking our coffee. I will check availability for this property the next time I go to Jasper.

We absolutely loved our visit here. The cabin was perfect. Fully stocked! Beautiful views and such a great location for all the hiking we wanted to do. All the little touches and decorations were precious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin even came with a dog (from the neighbors)! Her name is Betty and she is the sweetest thing! She can jump the new gates. We love dogs and enjoyed our time with her. Felt like our protector. We have decided that ALL VRBO rentals should have a rental dog. Just made it feel like home. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was perfect. We could have stayed for weeks!! Very clean and well maintained. Love the decor! It just happened to be a full moon the weekend we stayed! Made the view at night almost as breath taking as the views during the day. We loved exploring Ponca and Jasper! It was just what we needed! Peaceful and relaxing!

We went to Arkansas for hiking and ended up having mostly cold and rainy weather.. The cabin provided us a wonderful space to hang out together and turned a terrible weather weekend into a relaxing and wonderful time together. The hot tub was fabulous and the view off the front porch even in the rain was gorgeous. We did get a hike in Friday at Round Top mountain and then a hike Monday in 34° weather at Alum Cove and loved both. Had a great meal at the Cliff House Inn just down the road. We will be back!

Let me start this review with The wonderful surprise of a brand new black top driveway and parking area. When we entered The cabin the first thing we noticed was how clean it smelled, how beautifully it was decorated, and how homely it felt. It’s hard to put into words the beauty that surrounds this cabin . when you sit on the front porch or in the beautiful clean, sanitized Jacuzzi, the mountains and the valley that is right in front of you are breathtaking. As we sit on the front porch, drinking coffee, in the morning, we witnessed a bald eagle flying over the little buffalo river. That is right In front of the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and beautifully made. There was more than enough dishes and other supplies, salt, pepper, spices, etc.. but I think my favorite thing in the kitchen was the drip coffee pot plus the Keurig that had a beautiful display of coffees/Hot cocoa and the snacks that they provided. It was so warm and welcoming. You will not regret your decision to come to this little piece of heaven. I will be recommending this cabin to my family and friends

Great property! No close neighbors. Only thing you could hear was an occasional vehicle on the road and cows in the distant field. Very relaxing. Pictures did not do the property full justice. Close proximity to town.

My wife and I stayed at this cabin to celebrate our 31st anniversary. I booked this cabin as it is located between the upper and middle Buffalo river and we wanted to kayak the Buffalo. It worked out well as the upper was too dry to float so we paddled the middle Buffalo. The cabin was very nice, clean and a beautiful place to relax at the end of each day. We really enjoyed the hot tub!

We had been looking at this property for a long time but were worried about the driveway . No more worry , it has been asphalted and is fine . Great place just off the road , but sits up high so road noise is not a concern .

There is no better place to stay. This home was so clean, even the windows! The decor was beautiful, the view was amazing. There are restaurants, trails and kayaking nearby. It has a newly paved driveway so it was easy to get up even though it was steep. Hot tub and outdoor fire pit is a bonus.

Very nice property minutes away from town but still secluded so you can enjoy your stay. This cabin sits on a hill and allows you to enjoy the surroundings. The place was very clean and welcoming and the hosts communicated very well and made themselves available.

The cabin is cozy and has everything needed with a well stocked kitchen. The view is amazing and the cabin sits far above the road offering privacy. We will definitely return. We were visited by the neighbor’s dog Betty and she is very friendly.

We loved stayed by here for our anniversary. What a beautiful view! Everything was clean. We appreciated having the gates on the deck, to help keep the neighbor’s dog away. We would come back in a heartbeat.

It offered comfortable lodging, beautiful scenery and convenient access to the town of Jasper, Mt Sherman and Ponca. There are breathtaking views everywhere you drive. The small town square looks like it’s opening a few more establishments and everyone we met was very kind and welcoming. The drive out to Low Gap for food is worth it!! We did get to meet Betty the dog. She was very friendly and not a nuisance at all. She ran home after a while. We would stay again and will definitely be back to Jasper!

My wife and I had a great getaway for our 10th anniversary. The area has some great hiking trails, and the Ozark Cafe in jasper is good for breakfast lunch and dinner. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring is really nice.

We love coming to Jasper each year after Christmas…. This was our first visit to this cabin and we absolutely loved it. Perfect cabin that was exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable, and beautiful views! Truly everything you could want with a cabin rental and we would definitely return. LBRC is welcoming, homey and warm! We came for a relaxing getaway and to enjoy the change of seasons. Our trip was just what we were hoping it would be. The cabin was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, the glass doors were crystal clear, not one cobweb, crumb or speck of dust. The linens were high quality and the cabin had everything we needed to make it feel comfortable and our trip fun. The view is outstanding and the fall foliage was at its finest. Jasper had everything we needed gas, groceries and The Ozark Cafe! We had a great dinner at the cafe and stopped for a milkshake on the way home. Important info here!!! The driveway is PAVED with ample and easy parking at the cabin. It rained during our stay and there was no problem, the driveway is perfect! Thanks to Lana and John for offering us the perfect place to enjoy our getaway!!

The property owners were great to work with. Communication was excellent. The cabin was quiet and very clean. Had everything we needed to cook. Nice to sit on the deck and watch nature. My wife and I was very pleased. Close to the stores and restaurants. (Ozark Cafe & Low Gap Cafe). Harp Grocery close by as well.
