About this apartment rental
Located in the charming and historic Rockwood neighborhood on Spokane's historic South Hill, this beautiful and extremely comfortable 2 bedroom basement apartment will have you in a state of relaxation and peace. The patio is all yours and features a gas grill, hot tub and even has cooling misters on hot summer days. The driveway is all yours as well and the zen backyard is gated (with lock). Owner occupied (upstairs).
Kitchenette is equipped with full-sized fridge/freezer, airfryer/toaster, two-burner hot plate, microwave, reverse osmosis water, coffee maker, electric tea kettle and sink. Also provided are coffee, cream, teas, sugar, stevia, honey, and fridge has butter, jams and jellies, and cream cheese. Of course, dishes, cookware, utensils, a few spices and spray oil etc., are all provided. The unit does not yet have a stove.
Four-piece bathroom is stocked with hand-wash, shampoo & conditioner, bodywash, facial wash, lotion, and plenty of towels and toilet paper.
32" smart TV is features Netflix, HULU and Amazon Prime Video and more.
Riverfront Park (site of the 1974 World's Fair) is, of course, a must see. Such a beautiful place to walk (or jog). There is the beautiful antique Carousel, the gorgeously newly restored Pavillion, (which lights up at night), the Skyride (rated one of the top 12 scenic cable rides in the world), which takes you over the Spokane River/falls. In the winter, there is a lively ice-skating ribbon. So much fun!!
And you can not come to Spokane without visiting the swanky Davenport or the legendary Frank's Diner (an old rail car). Unit has a collection of menus from my favorite local restaurants. If you're planning something very special, I recommend booking ahead at the Wild Sage. Amazing.
And did you know that Spokane is rated #11 for best coffee in the US? The Kitchen Engine, the Rocket Bakery, Thomas Hammer, and Atticus (which as the best gift shop EVER), are a few favorites. And if you visit Auntie's Bookstore (also legendary) make sure to go to The Pottery Store in the back. It's actually an art co-op that has been in Spokane for over 40 years and has much more than just pottery. The artists work the store and are always happy to visit. Who knew Spokane had so many talented artists?
If you're interested in a nice day hike, Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside Park is a local favorite. There is a beautiful suspension bridge that is especially fun to cross in the spring when the water is high. (Note... RiverFRONT Park and RiverSIDE Park are 2 different parks.)
Because I am so close to the hospitals (especially Sacred Heart Hospital) I get have a lot of guests that are here temporarily working or are here with friends or family members who are getting medical care. Either way, this place is quiet and nurturing. A wonderful place to rest after a difficult shift at work or a stressful situation with a sick loved-one.
No matter the reason for your visit, I will do everything in my power to make your stay comfortable and easy.
Please note that this unit is not suitable for parties, nor are they allowed. A few friends on the patio is fine but the hot tub is for guests only.

In town for college move in with my son and husband. This was the perfect place and had everything we needed and then some. It was so nice to come home here after some really long days. It was clean, cozy and private with the cutest backyard to sit and relax. Lisa was awesome with communication and had delicious fresh baked muffins for us upon arrival. Great place and great host! Look forward to staying here again when in town. Loved it!

Having a family member in the hospital for a week is exhausting. Every evening when we returned, the garden and apartment welcomed us back. This place is relaxing, comfortable and healing. It’s an easy 3 block walk to the hospital so coming and going is a breeze.
I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I still am with all the items supplied for our use. Honestly, it is mind blowing. The host has thought of everything…my own visitors aren’t even this spoiled! It’s also clean as a whistle.
We bumped into the host a few times…what an awesome person to cross paths with!!!
Five stars is not a high enough rating for this place. We would stay here again in a split second.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay at the rental. It was very clean, and well stocked, comfortable and private. The back yard was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the end of the day. Lisa was very quick in responding to messages. We were very happy with our stay here.

My son and I had the pleasure of staying at this clean and comfortable property. Everything was as listed and the host, Lisa, was excellent. We were just there for a couple of nights but found the house to be clean, in a safe neighborhood and overall very pleasant. Would definitely rent again when in the area.

We had a great time (again) on our second visit in a short period of time. We booked two nights after being here the previous two nights before and the experience was just as awesome as the first time, highly recommended.

What a great place to stay when in Spokane. Whether it is for a couple days (we did two days gone for two days then two days again) or a longer stay, great accommodations for sure. Great access to getting into the vrbo, the full driveway access, and everything about the place is warm and comforting. Hope to stay here again someday soon.
ps Lisa is a great and most accommodating host as well.

From the reservation, to check in, to checking on me while there, to check out, this was great! Lovely, carefully set up and beautifully decorated, love and care for her guests was very much present. I enjoyed the stay, the hot tub was a DREAM at the end of a long work day. You'll love it too!
Thank you so much!! :-)

I LOVED staying here. Lisa pulled out all the stops to make sure her guests have the best of everything. From home baked muffins, to bath salts and bubbles, to luxury cloths for washing my face-I felt pampered from the moment I walked in. Everything was so clean and I felt very comfortable with the location and setting. The hot tub was by far my favorite feature. Her backyard setting was quaint, quiet and truly relaxing. I hope to always stay here on my trips to Spokane!

Of all the places we’ve stayed at this had the most of everything you’d want or need. We’d definitely stay here again!

So easy! We were informed of all aspects and procedures. The location seems perfect for exploring Spokane. The lower level space doesn't feel like one. It is well lit with numerous windows. Most importantly, the extreme attention and thoughtfulness to every detail is extraordinary. It was wonderful and abundantly evident the owner cares!

My daughter and I stayed for a few nights while in Spokane to tour Gonzaga. It has a nice location within 10-15 minutes of anything we wanted to do. It is not really walking distance to anything though. The basement apartment had everything we needed plus extras. There was a great selection of teas, home made muffins, a few snacks - perfect! Being a basement unit it is a little dark but there are plenty of lights. It is very clean and comfortable and the host, Lisa, was very responsive and helpful! Both my daughter and I enjoyed our stay and I'd happily stay again if I find myself back in Spokane.

We had a wonderful time staying with Lisa. The place was very clean and I loved sitting out in the back yard. Lisa was an exceptional host, quick to respond to our questions and was very helpful. The muffins were an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Not only is this apartment super cute and clean, but it's also located in a great location! There are 2 bus lines nearby, to get you anywhere you want to go (Downtown was only a 15 min ride). We used them for breakfast and dinners out (although the apt. was set up to cook if you wanted to). We only used the car to explore further out.
The attention to detail, quiet and peaceful apt. and host response to any questions were "top notch"!
Would definitely stay here again when we return!

Cozy and delightful. Lisa put a lot of thought in making her place feel like a real home away from home in every way. She even included gluten-free (how did she know?!) muffins, a selection of teas and coffee as well as cheeses! She truly went above and beyond. The enclosed backyard was a charming sanctuary with a table for eating as well. I would definitely return. Lisa was a one of a kind host!

Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Lisa has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. It was great having coffee, hot chocolate and water provided as well as many extras not provided by a typical hotel. Washer and dryer in the unit was a bonus as well. Outside area is very inviting and incudes a grill. I would definitely recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed.

My daughter and I stayed here for her volleyball tournament. The second bedroom was perfect size for her(she’s 13). The decor was really nice. We loved that we had access to a washer and dryer. We really loved the space it was cozy and very clean.
It was great to have access to a kitchen and a fully stocked coffee bar. There was also reverse osmosis water(we drank all of it). We also appreciated having a place to park our rental car. The spa also looked inviting(we were just too tired)!
The host was very responsive and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay😀

Lisa was great at communicating with us . We loved her impressive rental which was near downtown Spokane. It was easy to get to downtown which was perfect for us as my daughter played in a volleyball tournament at the podium. We left our car in the driveway and took Ubers to and from because it was cheap to get to and from the downtown area. We would stay here again for sure. It really is so cute and decorated perfectly. It fits it’s name Spotless in Spokane.
Hats off to Lisa for a perfect stay.
