Fine if you don't mind having to ask for towels and coffee.

There is no cleaning service, in fact, when i asked about it I was told by reception "Well, you did not ask for it". First, do not place this on the guest who is paying for it (and worse because I was burying my father and not in a mood to be blamed for not asking for it) and 2) have your check-in person tell you in advance instead of me having to ask for towels and coffee. I travel for work all the time and this has never been an issue and it will preclude me from staying here again.

Disappointing

Location is the reason we stay each year. Housekeeping staff were very friendly.

Overnight parking fee is new. We requested two queens with a pull out sofa and got a king instead. We also requested a room on the higher floors overlooking the city but were on 5th floor with no view. Pool closed at 9:30, even though hours sat until 10:00. The hotel just seemed dirtier and more run down this time. Will probably look at The Hilton or Westin for our stay next year.

Understaffed but doing their best.

The property is in a nice part of town and the staff that were there were very nice.

There wasn’t enough staff available. There were long waits for food and drink. Staff were friendly but were not well trained (one of the staff members put my beer up her shirt to try and twist the cap off) We also had no towels in our room.

Very clean posh stay. Mattress was very comfortable. Slept well

Lack of parking was the only drawback. Had to park at city parking lot at 11.30 PM and walk back to hotel. Just a one block walk though!

Good location, secure building

Felt very secure knowing that we parked in their parking garage and had to have the room key to gain access to the elevator.

Everything was great except the placement of the couch. After I pulled the couch out to bed form, we couldn’t access the room door.

Comfortable, clean and quiet within walking distance of anything downtown.

Our room was very nice and clean. I liked the layout of the room very much. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet as well.

The view from our room looked at the overflowing garbage bin of the residence beside the hotel.

The room was cute and cozy. good location.

The lady checking us in was bar tender and coffee maker, cook. The wine was old, if you advertise having a bar have a bar tender. It made us not want to eat anything if she had to cook too.

Very nice place but I did not get the value I was hoping for

Location was great and it was super clean and comfortable

They double charged my card and said one was for the actual stay and one was a deposit and that it would go off my card in 5-10 days but to me that’s too long and not right anyways. They also tacked on another $40 over the Booking.com price

Wonderful place to stay!

Bed was amazingly comfortable. Extra towels in bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hot water took a long time to reach our floor. Parking was expensive.

Short, had to park three blocks away.

Near to where I needed to be.

This was the first stay I’ve had where there was no available parking. Also, I tried to schedule through the Hyatt app the day of my stay and after showing availability, and going through payment info, it then rejected my reservation. I ended up having to schedule through Booking.com which cost me $60 more for the night. Now very accommodating to a frequent Hyatt customer with the rewards program.

Relaxing oasis from an intense work weekend.

Pleasant stay and close to U of IA

Most of the staff were excellent. One fellow was difficult to deal with and did nothing extra to assist us with a very squeaky bathroom door. The breakfast was great- wide variety to choose from

Bathroom door squeaked so loudly! This awakened me when my husband had to use the bathroom during the night.

Breakfast was boring. Same thing daily. Staff at front desk far exceeded expectations, helpful, friendly, personable. Kudos to Nicola (I think that's her name) supervisor on evenings. And young man on evenings.

Great place for an overnight stay with the family.

Great location and underground parking garage. The room was clean and well set up.
