Beautiful Home on 1/2 acre Property with own private driveway. Large manicured Lawn faces Swimming Lagoon directly in front of Property. Year round sunsets can be enjoyed from the Deck and yard. Old style barbecue with picnic tables is located right next to the beach. Giant Ironwood trees give shaded relief from the warm beach just steps away.

The Owners have had the property for 45 years; building this house 12 years ago. The pride of owning such a jewel is reflected in the excellent condition of the home and property.

We had an amazing time staying at this property. Mark and (Snoopy) were incredible hosts and gave us lots of helpful information and ideas about the island. Our 3 teenage daughters had a great time here as well.

Just what my family needed to enjoy the north shore. Host Mark was most welcoming and generous, and made us feel like family. Absolutely beautiful view with access to beach. Perfect location with proximity to grocery store and everything else we could need which wasn’t much because we were content to stay put! Would love to come back!

This property was the perfect little piece of heaven! We enjoyed the ocean breeze blowing through the house every day. It is the perfect place to vacation. The house was just what we needed for our family. Mark was a great host and made sure we were taken care of. He gave us places to go, things to do and restaurants to try. We really loved this vacation!

Can’t say enough about our stay at Mark’s beach house. You are literally steps away from the ocean. My family and I had the time of our life and we’ll never forget this vacation in paradise and Mark and Snoopy the best hosts ever ! Thank you Mark for making us feel special and welcomed.. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the islands !

This location was absolutely beautiful. Steps to the beach. The wonderful porch was the perfect place to watch the sun rise and set as well as the stunning rainbow we were gifted. Incredibly relaxing but also close to many activities. Our hosts were right next door and they were attentive & friendly without being intrusive. My daughters and I had a great experience here.

My daughter and I stayed here and loved it so much that we are returning for a longer length of time in 2025. Stunning location, quiet, peaceful, lovely house with a beautiful lanai right on the ocean. Impeccably clean. Mark and Snoopy were incredible hosts! Surpassed our expectations.

All you hear is the ocean. Nice sandy beach far from the Kam hwy. You wont find a better natural, quiet, and private location to call home for a week or so. Mark is very responsive if you have any questions or issues. Thanks for turning us on to Kens fresh fish in Laie.

We loved our stay here. Mark was great and snoopy the dog was an added bonus! The house has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. I have never slept better listening to the waves from my bed. The beach was amazing and we loved walking before the sun came up watching the ghost crabs run. We will be back!

We had a great time! Mark and Snoopy are very social and good greeters. Wish the 3rd "bedroom" had a wall for all adult couples staying in home. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the waves. If you like to listen to the ocean all night this is the place for you. Could use a little updating, but had everything we needed and the hosts are very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again.

This property surpassed all our expectations. Its location on the north shore of Oahu is perfect if you want to stay out of the big city but convenient enough to get to Honolulu easily. The house is clean, cozy and perfect size for 2 couples. Grocery stores were convenient and we found plenty of things to do in the area. But the view from the lanai is unbeatable. You are mere steps from the ocean which provided endless entertainment; walking the beach, whales, turtles, seals, surfers, waves. But the property is utterly unique & enjoyable because of the terrific hosts, Mark, Nancy and Snoopy. They gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations, told fascinating stories of their Hawaiian families and history and, most importantly, shared Snoopy with us. You'll read a lot about Mark and Snoopy in the reviews. When you experience it, you'll understand. We couldn't wait for their visits. This was truly enjoying Hawaiian living at its best.

Mark was an amazing host! From accomdating our late night arrival, touring us around the community, to providing some must do's in the area. The house was well stocked, very clean and comfortable for 6 of us. Mark had beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards available for use. The beach was right out the back door and had an amazing swimming area and was very quiet, most of the time we had it to ourselves. Snoopy was an absolute gem, he was the first one our kids would run to when we would arrive back at the house. Our youngest summed up our week perfectly... "I almost cried when we said goodbye to Mark, Snoopy and our house!". Thank you Mark, Nancy and Snoopy. See you again next time!

Pictures don't do it justice. This beautiful home is steps from the shore and provides a stunning and peaceful home base to explore the North Shore and beyond. It was a retreat for us after a long stretch of challenges at home. A peaceful and restful 'recharge' is just what the doctor ordered. We loved being there and the hosts were so kind and helpful. They showed us the local neighborhood, the path around Kawela Bay to Turtle Bay, and were always able to guide us in the right direction. It felt like family which was just what we needed. We were there during the Vans surfing competition which was fun, but not overwhelming. Just the Best! Thank You So Much!

This property was absolutely wonderful! A lovely home just steps from the beach. Mark, Nancy, and Snoopy were perfect hosts. From local recommendations to a neighborhood tour, Mark was a delight to spend time with. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves and enjoyed walks collecting sea glass and shells. Even saw turtles bobbing in the water. This is definitely a property we will return to!

We have had many beach vacations over the last 15-20 years and this one was without question the finest. The beach is maybe 30 yards from your front porch and the view is nicer than the pictures. The long driveway to the house eliminates any road noise from the highway.....very tranquil! This location is very central to all the North Shore has to offer so please explore. Mark and Nancy, incredible hosts, will be glad to make suggestions......ask, don`t be shy. Not to be left out is Snoopy who is quite possibly the friendliest dog I`ve ever come across. If you are looking for a relaxing time it would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a better spot.

My wife and I absolutely loved this property. We actually were sometimes disappointed to leave the home for activities because the views, beach, and snorkeling right off the back deck was amazing! Our host Mark was very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful.

The most relaxing 11 days we've ever had. Coffee and meals on the deck. The best location in Hawaii. Girls loved the swimming hole and we saw 3 turtles! My only suggestion would be bunk beds in the small bedroom off the living room. Very tight for two 12 year olds and all their "stuff". Thank you Mark. We hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful time at Mark’s rental. He and Snoopy were there to greet us and help us getting settled at the house. It was spacious, well stocked with kitchen, bath etc supplies and especially beach gear! Mark was so friendly and offered great recommendations about the area. And our daily visits with Snoopy were a highlight for my kids. You can tell Mark and his family put a lot of love into this beach home and we definitely hope to return!

Nice home with a wonderful beach and ocean out the back door. Resort restaurants, hiking, golf, Polynesian Center and ziplining near by in case you tire of snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. A terrific place to bring the family with the perfect ocean pool to introduce young ones to the water.

We stayed with our kids who just graduated from high school. I chose this property because it is right on the beach and private. Low tide is amazing for snorkeling or just walking out to see the reef. Mark has everything you would need for a beach vacation and is the best host. We would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved the property. The location was perfect and the views were amazing. The large deck, big backyard, and steps to the beach were a great combination. Mark was a wealth of knowledge about all things local and was always available if we needed anything. The house is set back from the highway so there’s no road noise, only the waves. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were just what we needed. The outdoor shower was a definite bonus. We were very pleased with everything and would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Kawela Kai beach house was wonderful! Mark, Nancy (and Snoopy) were great hosts, very kind and friendly. The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The property was amazing, located right on a beautiful North Shore beach. We could see whales just offshore while relaxing on the lanai. It was so hard to leave and we hope to visit again someday!

We loved staying here. The view out of the back porch is amazing. Right on the beach with a great place to relax in the water. Very private area. The only problem we had was there isn't any air conditioning. Luckily, we were there when it wasn't really hot outside.

Located on the beach. Owner lives next door and was friendly. The place could use some updating inside but everything was functional. It is 5 minutes to Turtle Bay resort. Did I mention it is on the beach?

Mark is absolutely the best host! (And Snoopy). The house was simply perfect for my family. It was nice to return to a quiet place after running around the island. To hear the waves all night was so peaceful. Mark fave us so ma t recommendations and made us feel right at home. I’ve shared the listing with all my friends to come visit Hawaii! We will return! Mark, Nancy and Snoopy, we already miss you and the house. By far the best spot on the North Shore to stay! We consider ourselves so lucky to have had the pleasure of staying there. They truly treated us like family and were so welcoming. Mark has a wealth of knowledge of all the islands that he loves to share, especially the local spots! The kids had a blast playing with the neighbor kid and we enjoyed a great hike with them too. We are already talking about when we will be coming back. You have everything you need in this house, clean, beautiful beach, perfect location and even better owners!

We love the north shore and this location has some of the best beach and access we have seen in this area. Also the lanai facing the beach is a great place to hang out. Mark is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable and helpful. Our only criticism is It would be nice if the third bedroom did have a divider from the living room.
