The location of the property was good and it was clean and tidy.
The bed in our room was too noisy like just a small movement makes so much noise
3.4
Útulný pokoj, dobře vybavený, v dobré čtvrti (blízká Bus zastávka, v dochozí vzdálenosti Lidl a McDonald), možnost kuchyně, sdílené WC a koupelna na patře (na jednom patře 2 pokoje takže ideální)
Velmi komplikované řešení rezervace a check in (několik pokynů které musíte splnit abyste vůbec mohli dostat info na check in), strhnutí depositu ve výši 150£ na několik dnů, teplo v pokoji (pro někoho příjemné ale během celého pobytu šíleně přetopený pokoj i během noci a nelze regulovat), velmi nepohodlná matrace (cítíte každou pružinu pod vámi)

It was an old building but kept neat
Good communication with host
Room one (ground floor)was very noisy at night, not just from creaking (from the room above) but there was some gas / boiler thingy that kept making noise all through the night

The only thing that I liked was the other guests that were staying also.
I attend Birmingham a few times a year to visit my late wife's grave. I am a 73 year old man and have difficulties with my mobility and heart. I had requested a ground floor room in light of my aforementioned health issues however, when I got to the property I was given a room on the top floor and had to climb 28 steps to reach my room. As you imagine, this was very challenging for me but with nowhere else to go and no staff to discuss this with, I felt that I just had to endure it.
Upon my arrival, I went to the key safe and entered the pin I was given. The pin was incorrect and I could not get the key for my room. Thankfully, another gentleman was staying and happened to be at the property. He tried my code but had no joy either, two ladies who were staying and got in touch with the property and were given a new code for the key box on my behalf. As you can imagine, this was an extremely stressful situation and had other guests not been present, I'm not sure what I would've done.
The room itself had a single bed and TV, it was an acceptable standard of clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, I could feel every spring in the mattress and it felt as though it was at the end of its lifespan. I couldn't get a full night's sleep as I had to keep turning over to try and get comfortable. It was uncomfortably hot in the room, especially at night time. In the room, there was a window, a radiator underneath and then the bed beside the radiator. For the first couple of nights there was no heating and then the radiator was on full blast. There was a thermostat control on the radiator but it didn't seem to work and I didn't want to mess with turning it off in case something went wrong. I had to sleep with the window open which wouldn't have been an issue if it hadn't been raining. I had to settle with either being too hot or getting wet.

I immediately loved my room from the moment I saw it :) A very nice colourful, bright and cosy room. It had everything you need like a desk, tv, coffee machine, tea etc and was spacious enough for one person. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The location wasn't too far from the bus stop and it was a nice old fashioned house. The owner was very friendly and helped me right away when I had questions! I had a homely quiet stay and would visit again for sure.
There's a lot of stairs if you are with luggage. I couldn't quite figure out the system to turn to shower on, so I had to use another bathroom. It was cold in the room (during summer) the owner was so friendly to offer me an extra blanket 👍 (but the housekeeper never gave me one). The kitchen was sometimes left dirty by the other guests and there wasn't enough cutlery. The TV placement in the living room could have been better.

Clean , no trouble easy to get to , and good parking can't fault it for the price extremely good value for money

The room was clean and the kitchen was pretty neat too. The bed was super comfy. Everything was to my delight. Slept like an hibernating bear.
What is there not to like. Though I was a weary about the non attendant service at first but got everything sorted immediately the deposit was paid. You only need to follow the instructions

they scam they not give back £150 deposit
they ahevnt given me back my £159 deposit

Location
The young man who aggressively knocked at our 15 mins past check out and was told to get out ASAP.
Being charged 150quid for excess mess and smoking in which neither occurred.
Also, very difficult to get them the answer the phone before, during or after the booking

The property in terms of stay was good enough, nothing special.
I had a terrible experience because of one of the cleaning staff. The chap was extremely rude and asked me not to use the laundromat, I was not aware that it was not for use neither was there any note explaining it. The guy knocked on our door, when I opened it, he violated our privacy….barged into our room and started threatening us. When I went to the guy to understand the reason behind the anger, he started hurling abuses. It was a terrible experience, my partner was traumatised and I want to raise an official complaint against the person. I don’t know the name of the guy (he’s was white male about 6’1”). I want to raise an official complaint to the police but I thing I should raise it to you guys first. I need compensation for the terrible experience or I’ll have no option but to take it further…:(

it was dirty, the windows were dirty, dust, the walls were dirty, it needed painting, the floor creaked disgustingly, the smell in the room was terrible, and the shared bathroom, the bathtub, the silicone from white was black.

Room was clean and tidy and cosy
The fact they took a £150 deposit
3.4
The self-check in was easy and clear instructions were provided. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the location is also good and not too far from the city centre.
They charge very high deposit for a room which is 150£. They return it in a few days so that is not too bad.

5 minutes walk from where I was going, just perfect
The £150 deposit taken with no warning on arrival day, bed was just about OK.
Indoor downhill water skiing was closed because the lake did not have a valid slope certificate.

Loved new and comfy pillow
Shower on second floor was not working

The only thing you could say was that it was clean, and alright for one night, BUT the kettle did not work, so we could not have a hot drink. I would not go back again, I would rather pay more for an on suite bathroom next time. We are O.A.P's so also found the stairs difficult. W also need to go to the bathroom either early or during the night.
It would have been better to have an on suite bathroom. Also a kettle that worked!

I feel very disappointed with this booking as I was unfairly not allowed to check in
Everything was deceptive
