It’s a beautiful old building, very cosy room and the staff were the friendliest!

Nothing
The playing of loud music Saturday night until 1 in the morning was intolerable. It was so bad that I don’t think accommodation should be offered on that night, Also neither the internet or even 4G worked.

Location and the history of the pub

No breakfast anymore. The Inn is still the same but the environment changed dramatically in de last three years: a complete mess, like most of Birmingham central part.
Old world charme

The building is lovely, and the beer garden looked amazing too, wish we had time to stay for a drink or two but we had somewhere to be. Our room was huge, and was well furnished, and the en suite bathroom was really big too. Not only this, but it was a short walk away from the event we were visiting that night. We felt it was great value for money and would definitely stay again.

Great location, easy to find, staff were pleasant.
Beds were not comfortable, we’re ok for the night.

The building is beautiful and very quirky. Manger who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for what we needed.
Noise on a morning from cleaners - may need a new hoover lol

The pub was easy to locate and all the staff were lovely, very helpful & friendly. It had a really great atmosphere, loved the alternative soundtrack playing in background and the food was delicious and tasty. The room was basic but clean & excellent value for the price. Would definitely stay here again ♡
Nothing, it was really good value & the staff were great.

The staff I did meet were actually really lovely, I've no doubt if they were available during the hours I needed assistance that they would have provided it.
I was really kindly given a later check out at no extra charge.
The room was freezing, I had to completely burrito myself into the blanket and I was still shivering!
There is heating advertised but it is not changeable. No TV despite being adversed, which would usually be fine but there was a fair amount of music from the garden which I would've preferred to watch TV instead to drown it out.
The downstairs bathroom in the bar was disgusting it clearly hadn't been cleaned from the day before as the bar wasn't open and there was no toilet roll.
The late check out was kind of them but absolutely unenjoyable, it had warmed up a little but the housekeeping wasn't informed despite being told they would be, so I was woken from the only bit of rest I had actually managed to get. Overall ruined the day I'd planned out before travelling home.
No where noted to check out or check in when the bar wasn't occupied, which during my hours checking out it wasn't so I had to go searching for someone to give the keys to.

Fantastic location and the staff were very friendly
The room was way too hot and couldn’t reduce the heating as the radiator control was broken.

A bit noisy at night as this is upstairs in a pub but not an issue for me as I was out quite late

This hotel was great and excellent value for money. We stayed here for one night as we were going to a gig at the O2. The location was perfect and right in the centre. Comfy bed, really friendly staff and tasty food. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Birmingham, thank you! :)

The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty going on at the location and in the surrounding area. Access to the room was 24/7. There was a sink in the room and the bathroom was next door.
There was no plug in the sink.

Superb location very close to city centre…. The oldest pub in Birmingham, really nice beer garden. Tea and coffee available with a kettle in the room, a pleasant surprise :)

Friendly welcome, historic atmosphere, and perfect location for the city centre and vehicle hire facility
The shared bathroom, though I did know this at the outset. All in all a great place and would not hesitate to stay again.

Both the room and the facilities were clean and cozy, staff was friendly, food was great with vegan options available. Digbeth is a nice area and only a short walk from the city centre.
