Welcome to Watermarq 1, the first floor condo in the Watermarq Condominium Building located on the corner of Lakeshore Boulevard and Spring Street. A historic building brought back to life in 2007 when it was renovated into three condos (one on each floor, only the first floor is for rent) all with amazing views of the Lower Harbor in downtown Marquette. The condo has Lower Harbor views from the master bedroom, living room , and dining area. You'll be in walking distance to everything downtown Marquette has to offer, including Ellwood Mattson Park, restaurants, bars, the bike path, children's museum, Peter White Public Library, the beach, the breakwall etc. We have strollers, pak-n-play, high chairs, and much more available at your request. Eight people are easily accommodated with a King Room, Queen Room, Queen and Full Room, and a queen sleeper sofa in the great room. And did I mention the stained concrete floors and in-floor heat!?! You are going to love this place!

This condo is located on the first floor. You enter the condo thru a large mudroom area, that opens up into a HUGE great room containing a living room with sectional and TV, a separate sitting area with queen sleeper sofa and two club chairs perfect for a little catching up or family game night, a dining area that seats 8 comfortably, and a gourmet kitchen with seating for 4 at the island. There are also three bedrooms that open off of the main space and two full baths. Including a master suite with master bedroom, bathroom with huge walk-in marble shower, jetted tub, and walk-in closet (which also doubles great as an extra room for someone in a pak-n-play. At the other end of the kitchen is a Queen guest suite with a bedroom and bathroom with walk-in marble shower. Across from the Queen guest suite is another large bedroom with a Queen bed a Full size bed and a large walk in closet and laundry area.

Condo also has WiFi, of course, cable, a four burner gas range for cooking, a quaint front porch to sit outside and enjoy the views, a one car garage for parking or storing all of your gear, and additional on-site outdoor parking as well for multiple cars. Additional storage is available in the basement (which can be accessed by elevator) if necessary.

Loved the high ceilings and overall furnishings and decor. Great for a family trip. Games and toys for young kids was a plus. Location is amazing, view of the lake and old ore dock, walkable to everywhere in the downtown area, great parking onsite. Would definitely stay here and and recommend it.

This condo was the perfect launching pad for our Marquette adventures. The location is walking distance from everything downtown Marquette has to offer plus a short drive from many other attractions. The hosts were very responsive to a few questions that came up during our stay including speedy delivery of extra batteries for the remote for the motorized window shades. The condo is as shown in the pictures and was perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen is beautifully equipped for a rental and we were easily able to enjoy a few basic meals at home. We will definitely stay again sometime when we are back in Marquette!

This property was exceptional! It fit three families with children very comfortably and everyone had their own space. The host was fabulous with communication and stocking requested items (age appropriate toys for child). The location is withing walking distance to everything you'd like to see in Marquette: beaches, dining, craft breweries, shopping and walking trails. We walked to Presque Isle one morning (a bit over 8 miles round trip). While the weather can be unpredictable in Marquette, we had beautiful weather with only two days of rain-which cleared out in the afternoon. Only recommendation is a deep clean. The air vents in the master bathroom need attention and dust/cobwebs in several of the decor pieces. Definitely not a deal breaker. I am sure with the amount of renters, it is challenging to have enough time to attend to things like that with a one day turn over. Would highly recommend this condo! We hope to return next summer.

We’ve stayed in several Marquette properties and saved the best for last! This is the best location in town and if it rains you can cozy up to the fireplace and still watch the Ore Dock and lake through the large windows. It was so awesome to celebrate graduation with family in this peaceful, well appointed spot. Don’t hesitate book it!

We were blown away as we walked in the door. The view is stunning. The condo is a spacious industrial chic space that is so inviting. Shops, dining and coffeehouses are all within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is filled with everything you need. We will back!

Situated across the street from the lower iron ore dock, this property is within easy walking distance of restaurants. The water view is wonderful and the property is well stocked and spacious. The floor plan is excellent and the garage was handy for loading our car on a rainy checkout day.

We traveled to Marquette for my son’s wedding and this property was perfect for our stay! It is conveniently located in downtown close to restaurants and shopping with in walking distance. Stunning views of the Ore Dock and Lake Superior from inside the comfortable living area. There was tons of space for our family to not only sleep but relax with lots of seating in the living room. Host answered any questions we had and instructions were easy to follow to find the place and get inside.

This condo is immaculate, from the large open floor plan, to the 180 degree views of lower harbor and the ore dock. Everything you need is within walking distance; the location cannot be beat. The condo was comfortable, clean, the A/C was fantastic, parking was abundant, and the owner was great to work with. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
