Fabulous location in woods with easy access to the Sailors Path
Loved heated bathroom floor. Plentiful hot water. Very comfortable living room with beautiful day bed. We loved the selection of books and could have stayed for weeks reading them all. We loved the simple furnishings and kitchen - no flashing digital displays - and we loved the consistency of simplicity throughout the cottage.
Dishwasher made things powdery or rough.
Rather dim lighting in the kitchen.
The creaking and other footstep noises of the residents above us (living room).

Location great, comfortable bed, good shower. Kitchen appliances good.
One uncomfortable sofa, basic kitchen table and chairs (not good for long or leisurely meals). TV dreadful-too small for the room, very basic. Minimal kitchen utensils. Lots of noise from overhead in sitting room from neighbouring property.

Location is so lovely if you like to be out of the way. Log burner, fully equipped kitchen. Nice comfy bed. Under floor heating in bathroom. Very quirky lovely vaulted ceiling. Ornate day bed in lounge.
No outdoor seating. Weather was lovely would have been nice to sit out. It would have been handy to have had some complimentary shower/bath gel or at least to know this wasn’t provided. Chairs in kitchen and lounge bit wobbly. Need to make sure you take with you what you need, track is long and bumpy.

Good location and peaceful. Lots of space. My 2 year old loved that we passed cows and a wood on our way to the property. Keys easy to find. Kitchen has everything you need.
A few improvements to be made that I have fed back particularly with regards to light curtains which wakes you up in summer so have suggested black out. The bed wasn't comfortable and so a replacement of the mattress is needed. A couple of improvements to the bathroom would help for convenience such as a shelf for toiletries and a loo roll holder. Some signage for the track to know you are heading the right way is needed.

Lovely & clean, peaceful location :) bath & kitchen were clean and spacious. I liked that the hosts called on the day to say it was ready earlier if we wanted to check in earlier & to wish us a nice stay :)
More fire lighters - it was hard to get the fire going

The road to the property had to be tackled slowly in the car to avoid potholes.

Location:
Lots of bird and animal life around our garden! Close to coast and some good walks

Location was half mile down rough track, barely suitable for a car. Limited seating in lounge, and food storage unit wasn’t too clean. Very quiet location with good walks
Overall presentation of accommodation was ‘shabby’

The cottage was disappointing and lacking in comfort. What did we like? Not much. Signage from the main road was non-existent.
The television was ridiculously small, the kitchen table and chairs were inadequate, the sofa was uncomfortable, there was insufficient carpeting.

Pretty much everything
