The whole property is really cool and impressive, owner’s creation over many years. It’s perfect for anyone who loves nature as you can see crabs walking around and have breakfast with hummingbirds.
The mosquito net in the cabin was so good none got in and temperature was good for sleeping.
Location is nice, on a hill overlooking the sea, valley and mountain.
Breakfast was so delicious I still miss it.
The owner gave amazing tips for sightseeing with a level of detail you can’t get elsewhere. He knows the island better than most locals.
It’s really good value. They could probably charge more if they wanted.

Hosts Thierry and Jacky are what make this place special. They offered us a complimentary tour of the south after picking us up from the port. Off grid clamping and the communal breakfasts were big draws for us.
Showers were a bit cold in the morning' but if you wait till the afternoon they were much warmer.

Tikaz Toukite is a true experience with nature. It places you in the middle of a botanical garden. I loved being surrounded by the plants.fauna, humming birds, iguanas and geckos. Thierry is a very good host and he does his very best to please.
Better wi-fi service and, I do believe that Thierry has corrected this. Be forewarned that the location may be very hot at times. Thierry will provides fans where needed

The location is beautiful and brilliant for bird watchers. You can see Parrots and Hummingbirds if you are lucky, but there are hundreds of birds ( also lizards but most people don't do lizard watching I guess )
Its quite a hard walk up the hill from the beach. About 30mins walk.

Super location, amazing hosts, a piece of paradise! I had to quarantine 5 days on arrival, and cannot imagine a better place to do it: the area is quite extensive on the hillside with amazing views on the Caribbean Sea, lots of various birds specifically colibri, lizards, crabs, beautiful flowers, and plants. Passion fruits could be collected every day for a fresh juice mix.

The ambiance is amazing, and Tikaz offers breathtaking views. The owner’s creativity is boundless, and although the place could use a bit more aesthetic development, I was constantly fascinated by the innovative, off the grid (mostly), inventions of Tikaz’s owner. Peaceful and quiet, I would call it luxury Zion. 🙏🏽
Needs a bit more in the aesthetic department.

I loved this place and anyone reading this needs to understand that thsi suits a speciific type of holiday and accommodation, it is not resort like and palm beach but a basic site with an incredible beauty, so provides a peaceful, out the way experience in natural beauty I couldnt ask for more
First I want to point out that this is more od advice and handy hints for future visits. I felt I needed to have hired transport as this place although beautiful is isolated, so it would have been nice to drive through this beautiful island. Also, due to my mistake, mobile communication is restricted and expensive for international calls (although with the wifi here I was able to mainly communicate effectively). Therefore I felt I relied on the Landlord too much (however this has been written under covid 19 exceptional circumstances) for the first few days in terms of shopping etc which they were happy to do.

Zip lining in very fun! Our 2 bed tent was huge, with a deck. Owner Jem very conscientious, and helper Pearl was a real pearl. Roosters crowed at 3 am but that was fine. Resident cat adopted us. Great location. We stayed at the beautiful site all of one day, taking short hikes and river swims.
Ran loud generator for 12 hours one day. Not exactly "eco"! They need more solar capacity for their batteries.

Quiet place bit far from main road. You are staying in the middle of botanic garden.
WiFi only by the main building. Lizards and ants everywhere, even if you use mosquito net. Only cold water for shower. First shop is 2km.
