1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom Historic Cabin in Downtown Lake City.

This property is a historic cabin located just a block from downtown Lake City and sits back from the main road going through Lake City. This cabin has been completely remodeled with great extra touches and nice finishes. There is a king bed and a queen sized futon...they are in the same room as this cabin is just a one room cabin with the bedroom serving as both the bedroom and living room. There is a seperate kitchen/dining area as well as a bathroom with shower. There is a gas grill as well as a gas fireplace out on the great deck to enjoy your evenings after a fun day in the beautiful outdoors of the Lake City area. Make your reservations today!

Cozy little place. Nicely renovated on the inside. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. Property manager was very responsive taking care of some minor issues. (unlike at some other VRBOs) A bit noisy with the OHVs on main road through town, but it was cool enough that we could keep the windows facing the road closed.

Charming little cabin, it was cozy and inviting. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Only a couple of blocks to the Alpine Loop trailhead. Would definitely stay there again!

The cabin is adorable. The bed alone is reason enough to never leave. Loved the decor and kitchen fridge. Rain prevented patio cocktails and snacks. It’s cozy and romantic with the right person (No offense Grace ) 😘🐶👍

We jeeped in the High Country kyaked on Lake Crystabule. Hiked 5 waterfalls. Did Ghost Tour. Ate at wonderful restaurants with our golden doodle at every fun filled minute. Our grand daughters won at the commuity bingo and cann't stop talking about the trip with the nightly smores on the pattio at the cabin over the really nice propane fire pit. We are planning on doing it again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy of sitting on the front porch in the evenings. If you like to eat out, there are multiple places within easy walking distance. Cool mid-century furnishings. If you plan to keep lot’s of frozen foods on hand, be aware the freezer in the 50’s Frigidaire is very small. Otherwise, the kitchen had the basics needed to make our meals. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was cute it was clean and had everything we needed but the town is sooo small that if you need to get food you need to go shopping in the maybe 1 or 2 stores there before EVERYTHING closes at 7pm or you wont eat we had a little problem at first with the outdoor fire pit but it was temperature controlled so if it got too hot it would turn off which was annoying our truck broke down while we were there and there is only 1 mechanic in the whole town and he WAY over charged us but we didn't have a choice its really beautiful there but unless your really outdoorsy there isn't much to do and its not cheap to do much we went to the lake and it was still too cold to go in and we had to drive WAY out of the way to go shooting overall it was really pretty and peaceful but not much to do if you have allergies and asthma like i do so i cant go hiking we didn't have the gear to go fishing and i didn't know how and it took FOREVER to get there it is literally the most rural county in the lower 48 states that is what the souvenir lady told us we liked it but we're used to the city after a few days we wanted to come back home but it was a beautiful place

This is the cutest little cabin ever! We felt very comfortable with the accommodations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and also used the grill outside. Everything looked very clean. It’s located just a block (or so) from the Alpine Loop where we took the Jeep/OHV trails. Loved Lake City and would love to come back.

Rocky Rose is a special little cabin that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. Well-equipped with everything we needed. The cabin stayed cool during the day and the deck was a pleasure to relax on. It was great to get out of the heat from our home city and enjoy all that Lake City has to offer. Everything was just right at Rocky Rose.

There were four of us staying in this quaint realistic looking cabin. We all loved staying at Rocky Rose historical cabin, updated, clean, and with in walking distance of most of the restaurants and shops. Tannah was very helpful and we were able to move in earlier than expected because of her going out of her way to have the cabin ready before the normal check in time. My wife and I slept on the Futon and found it quite comfortable. Would definitely stay there again and I hope it would be soon as we loved Lake City and the surrounding hiking trails and lakes.

This was our 3rd trip to Lake City, and the Rocky Rose Cottage was by far our favorite stay! The cabin is cozy and perfect for a couple's getaway. Do NOT underestimate the cooling power of the vintage Frigidaire. Lol we joked that it works better than any current refrigerator on the market or within the last 30 years. Tannah was very quick to respond with any questions I had. Check in and check out were a breeze and the cabin was VERY clean. It is in a wonderful location, just a block away from downtown. It also has a beautiful deck perfect for sitting or grilling. We would love to stay there again!

Deer in front yard & great front porch made our stay simply wondeerful! Cabin was just as advertised with contactless check-in and comfortable everything. Very clean & restful. Blooming lilacs were blissfully aromatic. Only downsides were continual wasps inside cabin, no AC & sporadic restaurants that changed hours unpredictably. We were glad we brought microwavable food. We would definitely stay again! Next time we will bring an extra fan because open doors and screens aren't wise with cats & would bring more food (if it is before season is in full swing). Tannah was a great host!

The cabin was very nice, more than we expected. We did have two very minor thoughts. First the t v would be better if it were hung lower on the wall. Old people can get a stiff neck looking up for a while. And lastly the frig worked great, obviously an older model, but one you could keep some ice cream and maybe make some ice cubes in would be great.

I can’t begin to express how much I loved this little cabin! Even better is that it’s pet friendly so I could bring my 2 huskies with me. The cabin was clean, stocked with essential cookware and linens, and the bed is big and comfy. A block from downtown made waking time get coffee in the morning a breeze. We even had a deer visit the lawn in the morning! Pet owners, just be advised that there is no fenced area for your dogs. You have to taken them out front in a leash. Not a big deal though. I hope to be back soon!

We just left the cabin and we absolutely loved it! It was cute, cozy and clean! We loved being able to walk all over town and the locals are so friendly. It was nice sitting outside on the deck and relaxing. One night it was raining and we just stayed in and enjoyed it. We would absolutely stay there again and plan to in the future. Thank you!!!
