About this cottage rental

Newly remodeled 2-bedroom cottage that sleeps 5 people comfortably. All bed linens, pillows and comforters provided.
Heat and Central Air.
All newer furniture including sectional couch and 55" flat screen equipped with firestick for live streaming your favorite shows.
Full size bathroom with tub/shower. Bath linens provided for the number of people listed in the reservation along with two rolls of toilet paper and hand soap.
The kitchen is fully equipped with basic essentials including all cook ware, dinner ware, blender, toaster, single cup Keurig and kitchen linen. Dish soap, one roll of paper towels and two trash bags provided.
Just a very short walk to the private pebble beach (closed/private from the public but shared by all of our surrounding tenants).
The private patio is equipped with a table with umbrella with seating for 5. Enjoy your private Charcoal grill and firepit (charcoal and firewood not provided)
There is parking for two car parking in front of the cottage. Shed in the side drive is not for tenant use and should not be blocked with a vehicle please, as we use this shed for management use only.
Roughly 1/2 mile for the GOTL strip.

Excellent Communication. Unit was very clean and well stocked, plenty of linens and cooking utensils. Comfortable furniture. We had an unusually bad storm. Power was out in the city for more than a day. Property manager kept us updated on wifi and lower outages and promptly had storm debris cleared away.

I’m 74. Started bringing my kids here in the 80’s. My granddaughters started coming in the womb. They love it here, as do I. They were thrilled when I mentioned coming to Geneva this year. My granddaughters are 25 and 21. The trip up was lovely as usual and our time in Geneva was perfect. We hit all the places Eddies grill Madden donut Horizon’s restaurant Crosswinds Geneva on the lake brewing Company, we had dinner there. It was quite good and love the view off the lake and of course we also love Murphy’s, a great place. My granddaughters got to enjoy the arcades again and now that they are older, there were plenty of bars to have a cocktail at. I am especially pleased to see how many young people there are at the lake for vacation. Tradition continues. The cottage we stayed in, which was the cove House a two bedroom cottage overlooking the lake. It was beautifully decorated very clean and in a very serene spot. Frankly, I love being at the lake much more than I do with the ocean. I know we can’t wait to come back great trip.

The location is great and close to everything but not in the hustle bustle of downtown. The onsite manager was fantastic and very responsive to any of our needs during our stay. Be sure to really read the description of the property to make sure you understand what’s there and what is not. There is beach access however, there are tons of geese, so there is geese poop everywhere. Also, you only get 1 bath towel per person which stinks if you’re staying long and want to wash them, because there is NO washer and dryer. Also, be prepared to clean the floors yourself, you’re required to sweep before you leave. During our stay, a closet door was broken off, the bathroom drain and sink drain were slow so during a shower you stood in your dirty water. The mattresses are horrible, I felt every spring in my back and they aren’t covered with mattress covers, which I think is gross. Upon our arrival there was a dirty towel hanging, also. We saw blood on the bedroom curtains, too. Also be prepared to wash the dishes yourself, there is no dishwasher. The reason I write this also is because relying on the previous renter to wash the dishes before they leave is unsanitary in my opinion. Not everyone washes things properly… They say that the cleaning crew does not wash dishes. Also, a fully stocked grocery store isn’t close by so stop on your way there, or be prepared to drive about 25 minutes away. The property is quiet and quaint, with courteous neighbors and lots of outdoor space.

This was our favorite stay! While it looks small from the outside, the cabin is quite roomy. The furnishings are comfortable and clean. I loved the location and the beach access. Being able to watch the waves from the cabin and yard made it just perfect. It was well stocked. Communication was excellent . I have no negatives. It was delightful!

Very clean. This is best for a short stay. We booked for a week ( too long). View is obstructed by a large home. Beach, very small. Beds, ok but not for longer than a couple days. Only one bedroom has a tv. We had all the utensils and cookware that we needed.

Great view of the lake, very quiet part of Geneva on the Lake but not too far from the main strip. The place was great, everything we needed including nice cold AC on 90 degree days. Hope to go there again next year!

The property was nice. We stayed for a weekend. My only complaints were the bathroom did not have blinds for privacy, the internet quit working, and not enough washcloths for the amount of days/nights.

I absolutely loved staying here. The cottage was great! Very clean and cute and I loved the location. Still close enough to walk to the strip, but far enough away that you got to enjoy peace and quiet and just listen to the waves crashing. I highly recommend staying here! :)

Cottage has everything you need steps to beach. Close to anything you could want to do. Walk many places. Or sit and look at the lake on the patio. Will visit again.

The cottage is very nice, great location with minutes walking to the beach. ( picture of beach does not do justice). Would come back again! Only downside is checking out at 10am. Most people dont want to get up that early when doing a mini, staying up late, and enjoying the summer night. Not a deal breaker, but 11-12 would be better.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location for our girls trip. Thoroughly enjoyed this cottage for our girls trip. Clean, comfortable and steps from the water. Communications with the manager were easy and everything worked as expected. Would definitely stay here again.

Near enough to touristy area, far enough away to relax and enjoy the lake. We are not satisfied with the VRBO webpage for the property amenities listing Hot Tub. We used this to justify the rental cost over choosing other listings, the property does not have a hot tub.

We loved the spot, view was incredible, private and quiet. There were a few details we wished had been clear, but not a dealbreaker. My wife and I love our coffee in the morning and we packed our favorite blend , then when we arrived we discovered that coffee maker was a Keurig, which makes cups singly. If we had known this we would have brought our favorite blend in the cups. It really isn't a big deal, but that clarity would have been helpful.

Spent the weekend. Cottage was clean, plenty of room. We didn't cook but kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to. Easy check in. Few miles from the strip. Would highly recommend
