Jeremy's house was a great place to stay for our week visit to Sydney. The house has a ton of character, and has plenty of space. The historical nature of the terrace house, as well as the neighborhood, made us feel more like locals. The washer/dryer onsite was really helpful.
There are loads of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, and bus access is really close from a couple of locations (we would recommend the Opal Travel app for planning trips with mass transit). We loved dining at the Waratah, Messina Gelato, Buffalo Dining Club, A Brewer's Tale, and the Rusty Rabbit. There were so many restaurants we didn't get a chance to try!
The view of Sydney's CBD out the upstairs terrace or the loft bedroom was amazing. We would definitely stay at Jeremy's place again.

We were only in the house for a single night but it’s in a great location and was well appointed and clean. Jeremy was amazing to work with and made our stay easy and seamless. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you Jeremy. A great house for our family stay in Sydney. The property provided all the requirements needed for our stay and is also in a great location. Very easy booking process / check-in.
Highly recommend the "stately terraced house" as a place to stay in Sydney.

The house was great! The layout is a little funky, but it all worked out. There was more than enough space for 2 families to be comfortable. And the location was perfect. Easy walking distance to tons of great restaurants and public transportation. Would definitely stay again!

This is a special property! Quaint, and great location for us to quickly get to many tourist sites in Sydney. No rental car needed as long as you have access to WiFi and Uber! We enjoyed it a lot, but stairs were a little tedious. Great for the younger folks, but we had to take great care; us retirees! Fantastic view on top floor had us braving the steps anyway!! 😉

A brilliant property in the heart of Darlinghurst that has everything you need. We had a few friends all visiting from different states to celebrate a birthday and had an absolutely lovely time. Bars, restaurants and cafes all at your doorstep.

We had an amazing time staying at Jeremy's property. He was very prompt with replies and very accommodating to our requests. The location is also an asset as there are so many shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The view at the top floor at night was also a nice plus. Will definitely stay there again.

Jeremy was so helpful when we needed extra bedding. He also suggested places to eat which were great (with the check in material). The view from the top floor room is AMAZING!! Be aware lots os stairs which you may need to go up and down at night too for the bathroom. The layout is a bit odd but we love the unusual. We did tons of walking. The train station close. So many good restaurants close! Totally recommend. Be aware that most places in Australia do not have full house heaters. They only have space heaters around.. beds super comfy too

What a great property! We found it clean and well-stocked, and due to excellent communication from the owner, we were able to check in a bit early when our flight arrived early. Perfect location within walking distance of most tourist spots as well as several grocery options and public transport stops. Gorgeous view from the top bedroom and lovely balconies for a rest and a coffee. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was great overall. I have a few observations that may be helpful. The back bath/laundry has a gap in the door that made the room cold and could be easily fixed. Having the washer and dryer on the premises made the stay super convenient. The front bedroom is a bit loud (street sounds easily heard) not ideal if you are a light sleeper. The upstairs bath was a bit slippery (noticed because I travelled with elderly parents) we kept no food on the counter to avoid ants.
We absolutely LOVED the location. The balcony/terrace was a great place for some afternoon wine. There is easy access to amazing cafes and Uber pick up or transit is readily available/ easy to get to.
I absolutely recommend this gem in the city!

Our 5ndays in Sydney prior to a 2 week cruise was great. The Darlinghurst property was central, perfect for us and served our needs well. We had a great stay while touring the city and really appreciated having a comfortable place at the end of the day. Jeremy was a great host and provided us early access due to our long traveland early arrival

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is in a great convenient location and the view from the back terrace of the night city skyline is amazing! The house has all the conveniences that you could need and its presentation is spotless.

Highly recommended!

10 days at 263 Forbes Street
I fell in love with this grand old Terrace Home. The moment I stepped inside and saw my family already settled in I knew I'd made the right decision when I chose it almost one year ago. Jeremy has been a delight, as are the neighbors on either side and one door down. The Rusty Rabbit was a go to almost every day, especially by my four teenaged grandkids. The attic bedroom was perfect for the three boys aged 15 15 and 18. Sue and Ella enjoyed the small room on the 2.5 level. Sean revealed in the master bedroom because the twin mattress was just not thick enough for floor sleeping and he chose to sleep on the sofa instead. Bill and I took the smallest room which offered a little porch with table that I enjoyed. The one suggestion I have is that a dresser with drawers would make it much easier than living out of suitcases on the floor. (I didn't see the clothes rack on the porch until well into the stay and when I did, I saw no hangers. So we continued to live out of the suitcases. Having the washer and dryer made it less of a task than it could have been and we loved and used them daily. The wonderfully appointed kitchen, the living room with large tv and ample seating, and dining room with the wonderful table that seated all 9 of us was the hub of our stay. In its entirety, this house provides everything we could have needed or desired. Except for the tiny mosquitos that left a few of us itching huge welts. A trip to Aldi's solved the problem. Bug spray, itch cream and cut lemons rubbed on the bites kept us comfy. The staircase, the fireplace, the decorative details in the plaster all were charming. I watched the plant on the front porch go from tight bud to fully opened bloom. We made coffee (love your thick cream), thick raisin toast with butter and fig jam, had boxes of cereal and fruits lined up on the sink and kept the fridge filled with foods not seen in the states. We appreciated the seasonings and things in the cupboard. We bought dish soap and toilet tissue as needed (our group was large and we happily did that) but your shampoos etc. lasted thru our stay. Our stay was delightful! In so many ways. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. The Simko and Mannos families. (P.S. You might want to check for a sewer smell that occasionally permeated the downstairs bathroom.) Bobbie Simko

Darlinghurst - The Stately Terrace
The location of this property is superb - close to City Surry Hills Oxford Street and Kings cross. You can walk to various venues and the buses from Oxford street excellent. Five of us stayed at the property. We enjoyed the amenities the property provided.

Everything you need, great location
Lovely spacious terrace in the heart of Darlinghurst. Easy walk to Taylor square or kings cross station. Tons of great places to eat or explore at your doorstep.
Modest and clean home, even though it was a little different to the profile, everything you need for a short stay.
We were here for a work trip so it was great to come back and relax Kent he evenings in what felt like a little home.
Only downside was the pillows, personal preference, I would bring your own pillows.

My extended family all stayed here for a wedding we had in the eastern suburbs and we absolutely loved the location and character of this terrace, It has a great common area for great communication as well as the secluded bedrooms for your own time. We stayed with a 8wk old, 8 and 4 yr old as well as grandparents and siblings.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for some room to stay.We did however have top play the parking game but that was clearly communicated in the booking process so we were aware what we were getting into but having a large car and traveling from country NSW we found it difficult to park in the parking garages nearby due to 1.9m restrictions, however there was if you looked some free parking around.
