Amazing location and in the heart of town. Great views and many shops nearby. Clean and tidy rooms and impressive living room and kitchen. Enjoyed some of the board games in the cupboard.
Nothing :)

This is the third time we have stayed at Club Cottage, the location is great and the apartment itself is spacious, beds are comfy and kitchen has everything you'd need although we usually eat out.
Whilst the apartment hasn't been updated in the 3 years or so we have been coming, EG the carpets have the same stains on and are now overdue to be replaced, my main gripe is with Cottages.Com customer services.
When you arrive before you enter the property at check in is 4pm ,they advise you to park on the road and hand write the parking permit code and leave on the windscreen. We followed this advice but on returning to our car to a parking ticket.
On calling Cottages.Com customer services they advised to pay the fine, apologised and confirmed they would refund the fine but to email their customer relations dept. where they would sort it all out, which sounded great, however...
After paying the fine a few days later received an email from Cottages.com to state they would not be refunding the fine as it is something they don't get involved with and to contact the council directly. Ridiculous response considering they knew I'd already payed the fine and it would be virtually impossible to contest now.
Cottages.com are either incompetent or liars.
So if you are reading this review - do not risk parking on North Terrace until you have the proper permit to display which you can only get once you enter the property.

The location was fantastic with a short walk to Bowness Bay, the ferries, the shops and pubs. The cottage was well stocked and very presentable with lots of space. Beds very comfortable too.
Would have loved a washing machine. Leather settee was slightly uncomfortable. Parking wasn’t brilliant but we managed to get parked on the first night once some other cars had moved.

Extremely clean and all basic amenities there including tea, coffee dishwasher tablets etc. lots of games and movies there for families to play, as well as Netflix and Amazon prime. Beautifully decorated and well kempt and extremely close to the lake.
It was on the pricier side however understandable as it was peak time of year, and only wish they had a washing machine!

Great location. Well appointed apartment with good facilities.
The one MAJOR challenge with the property is the parking. We were lucky that someone moved their car because all of the nearby streets (with parking permits) were full. This is the only thing that might deter us from coming again

Amazing & spacious especially for our group of friends who went! Perfect location in the centre. Quiet at night too. Cute little sweet shop on the corner as well!
only problem was that our heating wasn't working when we arrived & we were soaked from the rain! they soon sorted it when we rang them though so not a problem for too long!

The instructions were clear on how to get the keys. Easy to locate the key box and obtain the keys. It was a bit clunky working the key box but I eventually got into it. The property was clean and good size bedrooms. Location was excellent. Very convenient as everything was within walking distance. Ideal with two kids under 5.
We had a parking permit but spaces were limited along Northern Terrace. We had to park on a completely different street. The boiler was faulty as well. Arrived to a cold house without any hot water. Took a number of phone calls before someone answered and said they would call a plumber. All in all took 3 hours to get a plumber to solve the problem. Plumber was really kind and taught us what to do but ultimately said the boiler needed to be replaced. Spent the weekend having to increase the water pressure as it would drop and the boiler would stop working. Would advise the company to ensure facilities are working before guests arrive for future reference.

Good location plenty space
When booked stated parking pass when arrived parking pass had been removed but still advertised on booking app concurred over £25.00 in parking which we didn't expect

The only issue i had was the use of fabric conditioner on the bedding , Im unfortunately sensitive to strong perfumes , eyes watering etc. other than that all was good .

Fantastic location, such a spacious little property
Nothing - sofas were a little uncomfortable but that's personal preference. Also needs a corkscrew

AVery clean homely stay near everything in bowness and lakes area.
Perfect for families plenty of space and toys games etc for kids.
Would definitely return even though I actually live in the lakes it was nice not having to travel and just relax
The water for bath and shower not very warm but we could live with that as everything else was perfect

Everything was perfect. There were toys for my little boy, high chair, stair gate; fresh towels, kids cutlery and Netflix! Proper home from home. Makes holidaying with a toddler so much easier.

Location was great, lovely base and easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 children.
Lack of parking, although was easy enough to find the car park 👍🏼 Having to leave so early on checkout day. No washing machine.

Everything was brilliant. Facilities inside the property were fantastic. Big supply of DVDs, books, games etc. Sky Q. DAB radio. Well stocked kitchen. Quality soft furnishings, nice furniture. Even a high chair, baby gate, potty and step. Close to town but quiet location.
The only thing I would put on my "wish list" and it certainly wouldn't stop me returning is curtains at the bedroom windows as the blinds let the light in.
4.3
Spacious, comfortable, well located. Nice modern decor, with comfortable furnishings, obviously recently renovated. Love that there's one bathroom per room and they're nice bathrooms. Spotlessly clean.
No washing machine. Dining area is limited, could do with a table and chairs not just a small breakfast bar. Also it was very cold on arrival, might be nice for the heating to be programmed to come on before arrival.
