Pretty nice cat in staff :) Location Availability of kitchen

- As always in Costa Rica quite expensive for very basics. - A lot of mosquitos, some cockroaches in the room and many in the kitchen. - Careless staff

Jolie chambre spacieuse et colorée. Tout était très propre, la grand cuisine y compris la cuisine. Grand espace en commun. Personnel amical. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable. Je recommande !

Las duchas muy mal estado una cabina tenía una fuga y solo agua súper caliente salía y costaba q saliera el agua

Buena atención, falta mejorar un poco las instalaciones, pero están bien conforme al precio

La atención del personal es muy buena, las chicas son muy amables. La ubicación es muy buena, el precio está bien.

No me gustó que no guardan equipaje antes del check in, creo que sí hicieran eso, estaría genial y nunca encontré agua caliente.

Éramos 2 hasta que llegó la cucharacha

La localización está bien. Y que sacamos el coche con una maniobra menos que días anteriores Tener televisión cuando llueve es bien, pero cuidado no os atrape

La habitación había sido reservada para dos pero éramos tres en esa habitación.... Cucaracha amiga..... El problema principal es el baño que no estaba limpio, el agua se estanca y es un paraíso para mosquitos y cucarachas El otro problema fue... El agua... No había agua caliente, bueno ni fría .... Los grifos de la ducha funcionan cuando quieren y no quieren muy a menudo. La cocina no estaba en buenas condiciones... No demasiado limpia y le faltaban cosas básicas como trapos para no abrasarte la mano al coger la cazuela del fuego.

Ganar de mero no es solo reducir (fallta carne al rededor de el hueso)

La presencia de o prprietarios en los momentos necesarios como falta de jagua ,luz ,infiltration de Agua lluvias por loas techos de los cuartos y sin tener ningún plan (B) yo me fui 3 días antes para salir de ese apocalipsis sin reembolsarán los tre días bueno la falta no es de el personal al menos estaban presentes con su buena voluntad (irse très días ante y no dormir 2dias mas antes entonses ablamos de 5 días! Toda una aventura para des aconsejar no vale la vuelta con todo mirespeto poniendo de un lado mi pena y el des contento pudo ser peor pero asta hoy no lo he encontrado

Decent place to stay in Cahuita

The room is decent, bathroom was ok, wifi was good.

The walls were pretty thin so you can here your neighbors. Somebody arrived in the middle of the night with a car and woke up us.

Gran opción de bajo presupuesto

Un lugar justo lo que se necesita, una habitacion sencilla a bajo costo cerca de la.playa, cuenta con cocina compartida que es un gran plus para los de bajo presupuesto.

The room was very comfortable and clean, the owner was friendly, the location is good (quite central, near to beach) and the garden is nice. We really appreciated having the kitchen to cook in (eating out was too expensive for us!) Also, we found the room quite cool, the fan worked well.

Only one thing, our room was cleaned during our stay but we would prefer not to have this done, so maybe asking guests when they check in would be better.

i really enjoyed staying in the cabinas. the room is quite basic, but has everything you need. they even changed my towels and bed stuff during my stay. it's quiet there, which was perfect for me. the kitchen is big and clean.

Clean and reasonable price. Beds were relatively comfortable. Clean towels and soap provided. Lady who owns it was friendly enough. Less than 5 minutes from centre.

Room was very hot and fan provided was quite old. Gaps around all doors so mosquitos could enter easily - fortunately we had nets etc. The walk there is not far from centre but further than other accomodation and last 2 streets there are not well lit so perhaps not as suitable for lone travellers.

Accomodations that met the budget constraints but needs some updating.

Great location. I found it ideal for easy access to Playa Negro and also to walk to the national park. I liked the use of a kitchen. Helps lower the costs a bit to have some simple foods of one’s choice. Good outside covered sitting area. Secure and safe location.

I preface these comments with the fact that I am grateful to have a budget accommodation option such as this location. Overall I was OK with the property. That being said, I would like to think a number of improvements could be made without too much effort and cost. Firstly, while I acknowledge I arrived early as my morning boat trip was three hours earlier than planned, I still can’t believe I wasn’t allowed to use a bathroom on your property because it wasn’t check in time yet. Quite unreasonable and unwelcoming. In the two rooms I was in (got moved because the cold water wasn’t working in the shower) one room only had one electrical outlet in the entire room including the bathroom, and the second one didn’t have any electrical outlets at all; it only had a cord about two feet hanging out of the ceiling. This made it impossible for me to charge some of my electronics that only have 6” cords. It would be most helpful to at least have an extension cord available with significant length and having multiple outlets. The rooms were quite plain which is fine but ensure there is a mirror in the bathroom and place a small nightstand beside the bed(s). Consider removing the lock from the inside kitchen door because with no key available to us it was frustrating not being able to access my food the one early morning.

I arrived at SJO at 1:20 pm - caught the 4:00 bus to the coast, got off at Cahuitas and had to negotiate taxi to Surfsid

I was charged but no one was there to let me in at 8:30 pm!!!!!

no staff after 8 pm . lost all my money, and had to find another place in the dark!

The attitude of the staff : very strict, authoritative, conservative. Not very nice when I checked in. Locker on the gate you had to unlock and reput, very early in the evening. I didn't feel really free...
