At 1230 at Night
At 1230 at night a car rolls up to our cabin. A creepy looking dude gets out of the vehicle and approaches the cabin. The stranger claimed that he had rented the place also, but we he and we had failed to realize was the he rented another unit that he or we were not privy too. THIS WAS VERY SCARY AND WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.

Memorial Day weekend wonder
The place is clean and very accommodating for our 13 members of 3 family. The place has a rustic charm and the old fashion grill is perfect for our steaks. We enjoyed our stay to visit Yosemite park.

Family get away
By reading the reviews I was skeptical on renting but it was a few years ago so I didn’t think much of it.
CONS:
When we got there I noticed right way that there was a crack in one of the windows and it was just taped away with a napkin blocking the hole. The house was cold, the heater did not work well. The water was murky brown so no we did not take a shower nor use that water for anything. Luckily we brought enough drinking water to use for our food and everything else!
Looked like the house has not been clean for a while. There were no instructions on check out but the owner was fast to respond. It would’ve been nice if we were made aware that the small house next to us on the same property was also being rented. We had to come out and moved our cars at night so the other renters could move their car in. If we knew ahead of time we would’ve parked our cars better so the other renters could get in.
PROS:
-Near bass lake and Yosemite.
-quiet
-owner was quick to respond
It takes a lot out of me to leave a negative review. But for the amount that I paid I expected the cabin to be a little more comfortable than what we had.

Not so clean, but really for 15 guests?
Felt like this house was loaded with an extra 2 full sized bunk beds and 2 twin beds to somehow accommodate 15 guests. Looks like the owner was actually counting only 15 sleeping spaces not living spaces. With other amenities like the collection of kitchen utensils, size of dishwasher, # of baths etc this house is actually only suited for max 8 guests. With just 2 baths, it is little difficult to accommodate everyone's needs. Atleast an extra 1/2 bath would have been very helpful.
I have never seen such a small dishwasher. There wasn't any good clean usable utensils to try out something in kitchen.
The pipe system inside this house is rusted. Had terrible smell and taste of rust in the water running through it. Made it impossible to even wash mouth. After repeated use for 2 days somehow the rusty flavor reduced, but still sustained. The name should have been 'rusty'c.
The flush upstairs was broken and loads of water leaked to the floor every time someone used it.
The Verandah and the cushioned chairs there was very dusty. The years old grill wasn't clean and we had to clean it good to use it. The lid of the grill was terrible.
Overall not so pleasant stay here. Had mentioned these issues to owner the next morning we checked in, but he failed to respond to it for whatever reasons.
There was no checkout instructions, so was confused on what to do with thrash. So had to leave thrash inside tied to save it from any animals that might stray by.
What we liked is the collection of books, big TV, Chromecast and internet. There were Turkey and buck sightings in the surroundings.

Clean and nice on the inside, a little far from town and Bass Lake
I will come back as it allowed my family to stay together and enjoy the time off
