The bathtubs and the zinc in the kitchen getting clogged, a lot of dust and cobwebs on the windows and high parts, dirty fans, the grill does not work well (one of the burners does not turn on).

The property is is need of deep cleaning, maintenance, and repair. Cobwebs in kitchen and downstairs bedrooms. Mouse downstairs. 1 frig in kitchen not working. Dishwasher poor. Dishes not clean even with pre rinsing. Pots and pans dirty. Only left 1” of dish. soap to wash dishes in sink that doesn’t hold water with old stoppers. 2 chairs in kitchen and 1 bar stool broken. No salt in water softener. Inside drier vent clogged and not maintained properly. Heater in bunkhouse not working. Would not have been able to use as 5th bedroom. Tried to call maintence because it was cold so pipes wouldn’t freeze, but No response or call back. ETC……

The property was not what we expected per the pictures advertised. It needs alot of updating to match what is online. There is a step that needs to be repaired. Lots of the furniture needs to be replaced. Broken stools, back of the chairs were coming off. Some of the chairs look like a dog and been chewing them up. Its advertised as a 5 bed 5 bath however, the 5th bedroom is in separate bunk house that isn't full furnished as a bedroom. Its more like a game room with a couch. Therefore we did not benefit from that bath or bed because no family wanted to stay in there. I asked for pictures of that bunkhouse before renting and was denied and now I see why. I also asked for pictures of the downstairs kitchen. Instead of telling me there was no downstairs kitchen. I was just told all pictures had already been provided.

Great Location
This was a perfect cabin and location for a family getaway. We enjoy the home and the views.

Overall this place was great, kitchen fully stocked, spacious, too many amenities to mention. Only downside was that wifi was slow but spent most time outside and on the deck. And read description, no air conditioning so it was hot during the day but mornings and evenings were cool. Loved it and would recommend!

There were no blankets on the beds. We found some in the closet but they were smelly and obviously not clean. The carpet was stained in many places. There was mouse poop under the kitchen sink. They only provided two trash bags but expected you to take out all trash. There is a putting green but no golf clubs. There is an amazing shower in the master bedroom but does not function as advertised online. We had to wash the pots and pans before we used them. They only provided one roll of paper towels. Spiders in the downstairs bathroom. The house needs an overall deep cleaning. And the outside grill was unusable because it was so dirty.

Our group was made up of family, some married, some single. That can present organizational issues, but the sleeping options are varied, so it was great!!

The house is spacious, has nice views and is well appointed. It must be a warm and welcoming place at one point but now it looks old, dingy and poorly maintained. Minimal effort is put in making the guest feel welcome or even comfortable. The beds had used sheets with (golden) hair on it on several sheets and pillows. Really old dark comforters did not inspire confidence that they were cleaned at all. We had to buy sheets from Walmart. Thankfully it wasn't cold and we could make do with the blankets we had in the car. Kitchen was clearly cleaned before we came but several things were greasy and dirty to touch including the knives and pots/pans. The furniture and carpet are old and dirty/stained. We washed the sheets provided and covered every single piece of furniture we sat on. House is poorly lit and that does not help make things any more cheerful. One of the downstairs bedroom mattress gave backaches to everyone who slept on it; we had to abandon that room after a couple of nights and adjust within the remaining bedrooms. Old & torn towels. We ended up buying towels too. Several doors won't lock; broken or missing latches. Ants in one of the bathrooms. Website mentioned high speed internet but it is worse than DSL. We requested help for two days but slow internet was never addressed. One of the electric outlets was broken and exposed and is a safety hazard for young kids. The building had a notice of city code violation. The only saving grace was the beautiful view from the deck including the bird feeder. Deck is where we spent nearly all of our time because we stayed at home due to Covid.
